Very nice minifigs tin7, even if they do draw inspiration more from the crap movie than from the exemplary animated series. I really love the attention to detail with these, and the professional looking finish to them all. It's hard to pick a favourite, I really like Toph, she just looks so much like the actual character from the animated series, very nicely done there. Long Feng is also very good, nice selection of head there, it suits perfectly. I'm also very impressed by the custom hair and fan for Suki, those look stunning. As a true Avatar fan, these really warm my heart. If you ever do decide to turn these into a collectible line, make sure I'm top of your list to order a whole box. Really outstanding work, good job, I'm looking forward to series 3.

That's a neat trick, nicely done, I'm glad it isn't anything permanent.

More likely he would be writing his will, considering he knows exactly how we townies deal with bastards who lie.

It's lynching time people, burn the Witch! Vote: Carrie Price (CallMePie)
-
Sounds like a damn fin plan to my ears, let's get this lynch mob riled up! Time for us to clean out some of the trash. Vote: Carrie Price (CallMePie) Get out of my force, scum.

Fact is missy, you've given us nothing but a load of "he might be psycho, he might have been converted", while we know for a fact Shaun was attacked, and he says he saw you do it, something you've already confirmed he can do. That about does it in terms of evidence in my opinion, I won't have a member of my force getting away with attempted murder!
-
Ah yes, but that is just an assertion, we have no proof you investigated anyone last night, nor do I remember you telling us your blasted results from your alleged investigation of Stash? Sounds damn suspicious to me, when viewed side-by-side with last night's incident...
-
Really nicely done, what I like most about this is the attention to detail in the vegetation and landscaping, that's always something I look for in castle MOCs, and you've done an admirable job here. How did you do the white ripples on the water? I'm intrigued by those. The burnt out house is a lovely detail, and the main building is masterfully built, love the offset angle you've achieved, it's nice to see MOCs that try and break out from the 90 degree constraints of placing bricks on bricks. There is a lot to look at in this, thanks for sharing.

Well I'm not taking any of this megablocks from you officer, I don't believe for one second that you're an investigator. Somebody attacked Shaun last night, and he says it was you. He knows he'll be voted off tomorrow if you turn out not to be his attacker, so why would he take that risk? A bloody scumbag in my force... I won't stand for it! Exactly! If Shaun has been converted officer, then that begs the question of who attacked him and why. It also begs the question of why he would be so certain that attacker was you, considering you have already confirmed with us that he would know when somebody targets him. Did you target him last night? I think so.

Woaw there Nutter, we're all eager to vote but let's at least wait till the blasted voting box is brought out closer to lunchtime, aye?
-
Filth in my force!? Well we can't bloody have that, can we? Looks like we've found our inside job, I'm all for an old-fashioned lynching! Deputy, fetch the riot shields torches and the tomato sauce, we're going to have a lynch mob on our hands soon enough boys!

New Zealand: "Where to find Lego"
Dragonator replied to Legoman's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
No pictures as yet other than these and the older ones from when it was half finished in the Mystical Castle Mafia game. I'll take some new photographs and post it in the Historic Themes forum eventually. I have to figure out how to do it on my tiny photo studio set-up. -
God damn it, I knew it would happen eventually, but it sure is a shock to see one of our own killed, and us still no closer to finding the bastards that did it. I do think there are several things we can interpret from the results of the night, however. Clearly, one family wanted Rick dead, and the succeeded. The other family however wanted to convert him, hence the suitcase. Now, what has me here, is that bastard with the suitcase mentions his failure with me the previous night, which raises some interesting questions. There were two people potentially converted on night one, plus the guy who was considering attacking me. What does it mean, then, that this man is now trying to convert someone? Is it the same man doing a different job, meaning the scummy bastards can share their night actions? Or does it mean we have a third group to worry about, because that would mean there were three attempted conversions on the first night. I don't have the foggiest bloody clue, but I'll be interested to see what the rest of you think. I'll also be interested to hear from Shaun and whether he saw anything that might help us. In the mean time, I need some damn food.

New Zealand: "Where to find Lego"

Ladies and Gentlemen, it is now my pleasure to present to you a few photographs from Wellingtons very own 2010 BrickAtoll convention! These were all taken on the final day of the building competition. We may not be able to rival BrickWorld, but nobody can say we Kiwis don't try. Enjoy! My entry (1st in the adult section, yay!). The tidiest the front desk looked throughout the whole weekend. A very cool entry in the 13-18 age group, and deserving of the 1st place award. Entry by adult collector Hans, winner of the People's Choice Award and 2nd in adult category. Another sneak peak at my entry, I'll take some better photos before I pull it apart, eventually. Quiditch Stadium by another adult collector, very grand scale here. This one came 3rd in the adult section. A (rather blurry ) shot of some EB representatives. One of the outstanding entries in the 9-12 age group, very well done. This one secured 2nd place. Ragnir is hanging out on the roof. Extreme bungie by Hans, and it works too! Quite a bumpy ride for those poor minifigs though. Lots of people turned up for the prizegiving, a little shy of 200. Lots of prizes were won, I won't deeplink all of those though. At the end of the day, we all had to go home, unfortunately. We had a very fast pack-down which gave me time to go pick up a few sets from the local store before heading home. Thanks for looking, if you want to view the full gallery, blurry prizegiving photos included, you can find them in this brickshelf gallery once moderated. Thanks to everyone who attended, and especially to Harmancy who was kind enough to drive me up and back every day, including lugging my monstrosity of an entry all the way up and all the way back home again, cheers mate. It was a great weekend and a lot of fun, I enjoyed being able to stand around and chat about Lego with so many different people. Hope to see more ofyou at BrickAtoll2011, whenever that may be. -
New Zealand: "Where to find Lego"
Dragonator replied to Legoman's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Alright, so I'm back from my little venture now. The Farmers on Cuba Street didn't have any sets and they looked at me strangely when I asked after them, but I did find them out at Kilburnie, so I presume that is where you meant TPRU. They had all 5 sets which was great, I now have the whole line! Thanks for the help guys, this dragon is very happy. -

What!!? Dammit. It isn't an open late night is it? Dragonator runs off to check. All stores open till 10m accordingly, I might try and get down there. Thanks TPRU. -
Lovely boat design there TPRU, it really captures the effect of the painted eyes on a Greek trireme. This isa great idea for a series of MOCs; I studied this book last year, so it'll be neat following along.

Kingdoms sets are supposedly coming in to Toyworld this week, I'm excited! If anybody sees them please let us know! -
Wow, welcome to the site turambar, that's a really nice Inn you've got there. I really love that you've put lots of detail into both the exterior and the interior, there is a lot to look at in this. I've always been one to admire a tiled floor, so bonus points for that as well. The furnishing upstairs is well done too; the suit of armour is a nice touch, as are the books. One of my favourite parts has to be the design of the downstairs fireplace, it just suits the room so well. As for the rest, the well design is great, and the stables are very nicely done. Awesome to see a dark red cape in there as well, it's such a nice colour, isn't it? I also am curious about what the pneumatic pipes are for? Definitely a massive improvement on the previous design, you should be really proud of this. I look forward to see you around the forums and I'll keep an eye out for your future MOCs.

New Zealand: "Where to find Lego"

It really depends on when and where we can find a suitable space to hold it, so nothing confirmed yet. We definitely want to hold one at some point next year though, once we have something confirmed Harmancy or I will make sure it is passed on in here.
