  1. I wish they would fix that damn engine... far too many electrocutions!
  2. Just a general note that commenting and speculating on the mechanics of the game is not allowed outside of the game thread as it could influence the decisions made by those playing. Please refrain from doing so until the game is finished.
  3. I. Do. Not. Have. An. Action. I agree that we should be taking out the scum, that is why I have no intention of changing my vote. Wheeler is trying to frame me, which would indicate that he is likely neutral. If you have any sense, you will see the lie in his statement. I would be very interested in seeing this list that he has provided you with. This could well be our last day after all, and it is important that we vote for the right person.
  4. The fact that his "result" makes no sense whatsoever though raises some doubt. Has he given you a list of all the people he has tracked over the last 7 days? If he is claiming I'm the killer then he must be either neutral or scum. I would guess perhaps neutral, as I am still certain that Williams is our last Purist, based on my discussions with Hornby and my own observations. Hornby told me he also communicated his suspicions to Commander Wilder, so he should be able to verify that I am not lying there. Seriously, this sudden "oh I saw you kill him" line makes as little sense as some of York's stupid logic.
  5. Um, what? I don't even have an action, so why would you be lying?
  6. Right, well while you're doing that I'm going to place my vote and get things started. Vote: Ensign Allison Williams (swils)
  7. In my opinion, the few indications of suspicion against Lieutenant Wheeler have now been put to rest after the votes yesterday, particularly looking at how the two purists voted. My vote will be going to Ensign Williams. He is the last remaining person that Ensign Holloway was particularly suspicious of, and Lieutenant Hornby and I were discussing him yesterday before Hornby's untimely death. Hornby was of the opinion that Williams is the last Purist, and that we must lynch him if we wish to be rid of the purists for good. I agree with Hornby, Ensign Williams has been of note to me for a while, and was one of the two people that Holloway narrowed us down to a few days back. There are only six of us left, and of those six we have the most reason to vote out Williams. Let us do so.
  8. Awesome work yesterday everyone, taking down two of the purists. I am very saddened to have lost Lieutenant Hornby, he was a good man and particularly perceptive in sussing out the last few purists we have found. York, not so much. We're on a roll here, and I have a good feeling that today we'll continue that.
  9. Mmm, I've had Francis on my list for a little while, although definitely my weakest suspect. With the arguments above in mind however, I would be happy with a vote for him, particularly since I'm less happy with the (rather hasty) vote we had going for Wheeler. It was certainly a good test to see reactions, and Francis didn't have a very convincing one. Unvote: Lt Wheeler (Inconspicuous) Vote: Lieutenant Francis (AwesomeStar) Plus he took his damn time saving me from a Smoker once.
  10. George yawns. Just going off my own gut instinct and my general observations of everyone here, I think for now I'm going to have to agree with my fellow commanding officer. Lieutenant Wheeler has been anything but helpful, and to me is a better target for today than anyone else that we are likely to gather votes for. Vote: Lieutenant Michelle Wheeler (Inconspicuous)
  11. Wilder, as one Commanding officer to another, and to be fair as the only other commanding officer left, you really need to start choosing some better targets. To me, Officer Daly wasn't really someone I could make a judgment on either way; he was helpful, but could still have been doing that under the guise of purism. I think this is likely why he was targeted by the Purists last night, they wanted to remove someone who wouldn't disrupt the confusing debate over who to convict from yesterday. So we are pretty much back where we were again, unless any other results come to the surface.

  13. It would be worth noting that one of the two scum we have killed already could have been the original killer, and the action has since been passed on. These sorts of things are never easy to "calculate", there are always unknown factors.
  14. See, the problem I have with this theory is that it has cleared everyone except one person, yet there are still three scum left. That doesn't add up at all to me, and I dislike that we're so ready to follow a supposed "theory" that is clearly not accurate just on that fact alone. I mean come on, we may as well be following the Rule of Threes. Did you consider that Holloway might be the godfather? Investigation results are not a 100% given fact that can be completely relied upon, this has been proven time and time again.

  16. I strongly disagree with those voting against Hornby. I do not think enough thought has been given to the reasons behind that. Remembering that some of those currently discussing the accusations are themselves scum, I find it interesting that a sudden turn towards Hornby has been made after a vote was tendered against Holloway, particularly when this turn was made by Holloway himself. Personally I still feel that his actions raise far more suspicion that those of Hornby, particularly in light of the fact that there is evidence that Hornby is our town protector, a role which would be disappointing to lose on top of losing a town member. Personally my vote will remain for the person I find most suspicious and feel we should be voting out. For the time being that is Holloway. We cannot risk losing our town protector on the vague possibility that there was a conversion, when there isn't even any evidence to suggest conversion is possible. Remember that conversion isn't a normal thing for groups like the Purists to be able to do, and none of the listed scum roles from the simulator was "converter".
  17. A full year has gone by since Heroica RPG launched in the Games Forum at Eurobricks, and it has grown to a beloved community project with over 80 players. Not only can you enlist as a hero and embark on adventures around a unique fantasy world in Heroica RPG, but you can also create your own content for the game and help with managing the plethora of aspects in it. To celebrate this first anniversary, the game manager Sandy has created several special events for the game: * An in-game Lottery, where players can win rare and unique items in a raffle – which has already begun! * * A whole new shop has opened at the Marketplace, selling much-coveted artefacts. * * Three new quests hosted by the game manager will begin in August, one of which is something totally new and exciting – an unlimited quest concentrating solely on battles and gaining experience. * * The Training Room will be updated with new levels of job classes that will be available to high-ranking heroes: the Expert and the Master Job Classes. * * And there’s a special surprise to all those who have contributed a quest or another topic to this game – without you guys this game would not be what it is today, so thank you! * If you’ve never even heard of the game, come and check out the fun the players are having. And what better time to join the fun than now?
  18. Yeah I can agree with you, Lieutenant Hornby. Ensign Holloway has been more and more blatant in his obvious underlying motives, and the evidence gathered from his interactions in private is very telling. I for one feel more than happy about voting him out. Vote: Ensign Robert Holloway, engineer (Waterbrick Down)
  19. Well that is certainly problematic, one step forward and two steps back. I am intrigued by the two kill targets, disappointing that both were of pretty trustworthy townies.
  20. Jerk it baby. Vote: Ensign Toby Rockford (darkdragon) Not really anything to add at this point, so let's have some celebratory sausage rolls.
  21. All in due time Ensign.
  22. Excellent, that's one ticked off thanks to our trusty tree stump. Looks like we may have another confirmed purist once the results of last night's actions have been collated too.
  23. My god you are such a :wall: I'm glad our stump served us well at least, unlike certain unhelpful simpletons. Vote: Second Officer Lieutenant Commander Andrew Gordon (Scubacarrot)
  24. Mmm, yeah nothing I'm seeing is convincing me that Ensign York is any help to the town at all. In fact quite the opposite, I still suspect that she is trying to back-pedal and claim town after her failed "sting". I suppose it is possible she is simply a complete loony, but I don't know...
  25. Heh, funny that you quote those completely out of context. The first was a statement that if what he says is true, then we can't let him give the scum an extra kill. The second was a statement that I felt he was bluffing by claiming he could give his action to the town. The second has already been noted as impossible considering the discussion since then. But thank you for your concern.
