  1. Me and my brother used to do that to make our own minifigures when we were young. I think you could also just add a wrinkle or two on the other side. Drawing a simple short, curved line should be easier. You have me wanting to get this torso to try it out now.
  2. Nice idea, but I'd like it more if her right side didn't look like it was missing details without the badges. It feels unbalanced with no other pocket or wrinkles. I took a screenshot and quickly erased the pocket in paint and think it's somewhat better, but now it's a bit bare and it would be better still if there were possible to have two pockets.
  3. Good choice for elements. The angles give it a villainous look without being too over the top. I particularly like the mudguards and the 2x4 slope for the hood. On a sidenote, the Adventurers cockpit is possibly my favourite Lego piece and was last used in 2021. There's a very real possibility TLG will retire the mold next year
  4. How many antennas are there? I count about five antenna in total. It's a nice mostly-symmetrical design. Can the technic panels on the outside be moved to allow better access to the interior?
  5. I miss the old grays but it's just nostalgia. The new bluish grays are simply superior, same with reddish brown and the new trans black. Sometimes I wonder if it really made a difference and Lego would still be as good with the old colours. We had tons of Lego stolen by movers when my mum moved home in 2009. It ranged from the late 70s that was my older siblings' to the early 00s that belonged to me and my brother. I'm still sad about it. I'm a bit obsessive about things aging or getting ruined so I definitely do my best to protect Lego from sunlight. Not too bothered about dust but still give it a dusting now and again with a soft brush.
  6. I've taken a look at my cookies, even completely reset them and every time I open up Bricklink it asks me for my cookie preferences, date of birth, and a verification code to log in. Every time I open a new page or tab it wants my cookie preferences again even after I've logged in. It's so irritating.
  7. That would be why then! It's been a long time since I watched that movie.
  8. Looks like it came straight out of the Amazon rainforest.
  9. That's so cool. I like how you created a vehicle for a purpose that is missing from the line up. Also love mocs for vintage themes that look like they'd fit right in! I saw the top half of the first image and thought it was a wrecking ball at first, maybe that's the next role to be filled.
  10. Minas Tirith was my first thought when I saw the images. It also makes me imagine it as a wonder from Age Of Empires.
  11. Many people put way too much value on minifigs, even more so when it's licensed (and even more yet when it's Star Wars). Even Lego when they lock a character or unique variant of a character to a super expensive set. I'm unsure if you detected my sarcasm or not. I was taking a jab at the previous commenter that was essentially saying "old = good, new = bad."
  12. Looks good! I would personally have used two of these for the front of the sidecar and maybe put a little windshield on top. Still like it though!
  13. Brick built small characters are better than "minifigs." We should go back to this.
  14. It's the antithesis of a free market, freedom of association, and freedom of speech (which M*sk loves to harp on about). I thought being successful through capitalism was about creating a superior product in a competitive market, not by extortion and bullying? I hope TLG (and many others) don't give in to it.
  15. I agree about competition being good. As much as I like Lego, I feel like they are slowly becoming complacent with their status. Still, a bit odd seeing as Mattel already have Mega, and I am curious to know how they are going to "bend the rules of construction with innovative features and materials".
