[ENTRY] 1872 Imperial Guard Camp - Remake 2023

Thank you! 😉👍🏴☠️🍻 -
Hello! Now I'm thinking again about the 1492 Battle Cove set. The garrison that once had its better days is now in total ruins. Two pirates were originally on duty on the small island, but one stole a gold bar from a hidden treasure chest and quickly hid it before his partner shot him. His skeleton can be seen at the edge of the beach. Flickr Instagram

In the current version there is no way to do this, because it's not designed that way, but if there is an instruction at some point, you will be able to rebuild it where you want. 🍻🏴☠️😉😀 -

Thank you very much! 😉🏴☠️🍻 It's possible that when it reaches its final version, there will be instructions. I am thinking more and more about making a CFE (community feedback edition) version of it -

[ENTRY] 1889 Pirate's Treasure Hold Remake

Thank you very much! 😉🏴☠️🍻 According to the translator, I spelled the word challenge correctly, but since then several people have asked me to spell it with an e. I will definitely correct this. Yes, I could see this as part of a gwp. Since there were several suggestions for all three sets, I might make a CFE - Community Feedback Edition 😀🏴☠️🍻 -

[ENTRY] 6259 Broadside's Brig - Remake 2023
MyFirstMOC-Hun replied to MyFirstMOC-Hun's topic in Pirate MOCs
I was thinking about the cannon and more elements, for example vegetation, but when I looked at the number of pieces (and that was a problem before, that I build with much more elements than the original) I didn't want to add more elements. When I first thought about the set, the side of the soldiers was smaller, but then I stacked the cubes and it ended up this big. I might create a smaller version of it. I'll see if I have the time, because I have a few more sets I'd like to redesign 😀. -

Hi! I'm not shy of comments, I read them all, I'm just not going to rebuild this particular set. The palm tree was originally there front and center because it would have had a little basket on it for our man to peek out of. But the baroque looked idiotic, so in the end the palm tree wasn't put on it, but it was kept. I really agree, it's not in the right place, maybe it would be better if it was taken out and just a little rock in its place. I'll look at that next time. Thanks for your reply. 😉🏴☠️ -

Hello! This is a redesigned version of the 6259 set, with a more modern look. In addition to the two soldiers, the set also features a captured pirate. A small desk, treasure chest and escape route from the prison have also been replaced. The roof of the building is removable and modular. Instagram Flickr

Hello! Another old set I thought of again is the 1872 Imperial Guard Camp. I know, again, you can't recognise the original set, but when I picked this one and started thinking about how it should look, this is what came to mind. Two soldiers holed up at the base of a dilapidated building, if they're going to be on duty in a place like this. Presumably it's some kind of punishment for them, because who would want to be here? [ENTRY] 1889 Pirate's Treasure Hold Remake

Thank you, but I will not change this one, nor the next one. I understand if it doesn't fit the competition, it won't count. But I won't change the number of pieces or the look of it, because I think it's fine the way it is. -

Thank you! Yes, maybe that palm tree should have been left out, but it was originally going to be a little fiddling spot like the one at the top of the ships mast. But that would have been too quaint 😂. -

I see, well then the next set won't comply with the competition rules either, but I'll post it here anyway. The third one I'm working on won't be up to scratch either, so I'll either win absolutely nothing or be disqualified. When I looked at that little set, this is what I imagined it would look like in a modern guise. If it doesn't fit in the competition, I'll accept it and if I have to amend the entry to be a non-entry. Thank you! 😎😉🏴☠️🍻 -

I don't necessarily agree that there is too much vegetation. It's under 300 pieces, with that number of pieces, Lego releases sets easily. But if you look at the original, you can see that there wasn't much on that one. For me, that's how it came together into a modern set. Especially when I see that what you showed in example Sabre Island became a much larger item count moc. But if you don't like it I'll take it. I like it 😉😀. -
Hello! I entered the competition to make a remake of the 1889 Lego Pirates set. Hidden in a small cave in the rock is a treasure chest full of diamonds, covered by a door made of vegetation. But just in case someone does find the treasure, a small gold bar has been hidden away as an emergency stash. More pictures on my insta account, because it simply won't allow more. MyFirstMOC Insta
