Hmm i stumbled to this set on internet this has pretty unique looking bucket wich is maybe usefully in mocs:)

And since life isin't easy i decided to celebrate that by noticing the gearbox had 2 gears with same speed so back to drawingboard and after crueling hours of ripping the gearbox apart was the fun part creating new gearbox on same housing and after another crueling hour of pain and struggles and going to hell and back finally the gearbox works as it should hopefully i dont have to anymore desing new gearboxes to this model:)

Well i got the gearbox switch now in place and here is all the poses what my boom desing can do compare to real life counterpart i think its pretty close:) Real life My boom Please note this is my first experience operating 2 piece boom because lego has never made 2 piece boom wich is sad to think lego technic is almost 47 years old and they had never maded 2 piece boom excavator or the rough terrain crane size massive wheel excavator Well now i can start to think color of this model and i can start building the bodypanels its a relief the mechanical stuff is now sorted and they work great:)

Well if that is the case maybe the f1 car is about same size as the 42169 because in 1:8 scale the truck would be really giant and massive and maybe needin over 10000pcs:)

Cabin sculpting has begun:) And i have now tryed to counterbalance the superstructure because the boom is heavy so i added few beams to undercarriage support it but its not as smooth as i wanted it to be but its a miracle that this superstructure even turns because my previous attempts were kind of bad they normaly would not budge and there was huge amount of cracking luckily this model doesn't suffer from that eventough its not smooth Ps and my last night building nightshift and yesterdays gearbox rework mayhem has hurted my fingertips so now its even more pain to assemble this:)

Well now the pneumatics are done:) Well the superstructure turning and outriggers are crank operated:)

Well i looked the real model boom movement to mine and wow its pretty close now so my hard work and going to hell and back;) has payed of:)

Well i recommend personally the one with 2 switches that is really easy to use the one with turningwheels is more difficult to master

And with the 9v system cables turns into dust because of the age and my dad has the technic white space shuttle set and that set pieces were stored with another set and my dad gaved me premissions to build the other one and when i started separating the pieces the space shuttle cables turned instanltly to dust they were too fragile so be carefully with the old lego electronics as they will over time turn into brittle and fragile museum artifacts:)

And after over 10 hours of pain and struggles and going to hell and back;) i finally got the reworked 3+R gearbox working and reworked superstructure now i need sleep and rest so tomorrow this will continue:)

Well i have to start thinking something heavy for the excavator superstructures counterbalance because the boom is heavy and the superstructure leans slightly forward maybe i have to start lead mining operation to fix this slight issue but this has been fun my first excavator wich actually works and is not as fragile as museum artifact:)

Update for the instructions i forgot that i had these pieces from the john deere harvester so the rear axle will use these pieces because this will make the rear axle more robust and sturdy:)

Well i went to my local supermarket and they had 2025 catalogs(finnish) and i found this on catalog is this new unreleased set?

Well i have started to thinking and planning this months progress Firstly finnish the fixed instructions for the dump truck Secondly i will buy a ton of bush planes and skid steer polybags for pieces Thirdly start thinking new mocs and ideas So hopefully everything goes as planned but as always i maybe will do a few detours if i get a cool idea on my head and start planning that but stay tuned:)

Well i saw yesterday this video and i wanted to point out how i did made the gearbox shifter more stronger so i used 2 of friction pins with stud and a bar to reinforcement the shifter and my system don't use a Rubber band My solution His solution And btw no offends to him he made a great b-model with the availdable pieces and i really want to build this b model:)

Well i did do a little modification to the bush plane because im left handed and this model was designed for right handed peoples so i had to switch the gear rack and now it is working perfectly for left handed peoples:)

Interestingly my local stores calls the new small bag sets R bags so maybe the new paper polybags official name is recycling bags because they don't use plastic anymore and polybag is for the plastic bag sets:)
