Construction tribe! That's awesome! Were they the supposed Steampunk tribe, or are they different? Purple stomach-mouth is goofy. I love him. Cubits! Finally! Now if only we could get a General Nixel... And a little sad about the clone characters of Flurr and possibly Lunk. They seem different enough, but surely they could've made something more creative (I mean, we're getting a stomach-mouth, for Pete's sake.)

Hey, that's pretty neat. Too bad I lack a tablet, though honestly I don't see how it could work on a phone due to the size of the App Bick construct.

Decided to give 'em a watch. Pretty good, though can't say much that hasn't already been said. LOSS was a letdown. Hardly a formidable foe, but we'll get proper villains come summer. EDIT: I broke the all one's reply count. We're now at 11112

If it's official, I'm just sad I can't read it. Hopefully an English translation of the language will be coming soon.

I found 'em! Picked up Flamzer, Boogly, and Niksput. They're all great, per the norm, but Niksput is definitely my fav. He's totally Space Dandy.

Yeah. I really like the new bones now. I'm a big fan of the "thin thighs and chunky claves/ankles" aesthetic, and these will do wonders for pulling that off.

Yeah, I'm warming up to the new bones. Especially once I realized they'd make for good eyestalks. #G2PewkuConfirmed

These look nice. Is that a trans purple version of the Tie Advanced Prototype windscreen I spy? The Antimatter base seems a little bare-bones, but has some cool features. The boat looks sweet.

Depends on which Toa we're talking. G1 Toa with their adaptive armor would surely win considering they'd be able to adapt to anything the Heroes throw at 'em. G2 Toa would probably lose. They only have their elements to work with while the Heroes could easily be upgraded to withstand their attacks.

I don't like the Skull Scorpio set all around. Despite the tail probably having a grabbing function, it's just obnoxiously massive. The legs are too stiff, and (personal preference) stick way too far out from the body. The claw arms also feel too spindly. And the head. Looks way too humanoid. Every time I look at him, I see a dude laying down in a scorpion costume. Lot of this is personal preference. If you like him, more power to you. But I hope he'll undergo some changes.

I don't really like the new bones, to be honest. I never had a problem with exposed ball joints on the regular bones, so I don't really get the point of these. Plus, it really limits MoCing potential. And while on the subject of exposed ball joints: eeugh... Empty crotch on Skull Grinder.

So. I... Don't know what to say... Ekimu's definitely the highlight of the wave (Gold Protector Mask!). And it seems his shield may use that round window piece thing from the Battle for Ninjago City set (strapped to a saw). The rest of the figures... Don't look so great. I get that they're prelims, so they can only get better. New bones are interesting to see. Not much else to say. Specifically, Warrior looks plain, Slicer is spindly (yeah, they're skeletons, but he could use some armor), Basher's looking sweet, Scorpio is a letdown (what is up with that tail?), and Grinder looks pretty cool. Can't wait for Toyfair to see more finalized figures!

I'm glad G1 was brought up again, because yes, early G1 and G2 a pretty much the same. -G1 had 6 Toa being summoned to an island, fighting creatures, collecting masks, going to an ancient temple, and fighting a bad guy. Later a horde of new villains (Bohrok) awaken. -G2 has 6 Toa being summoned to an island, fighting creatures, collecting masks, going to an ancient city where they'll presumably fight the bad guy (LOSS). After that new villains (Skull Army) awaken. That's pretty much the bare-bones version. And as you can see, the story in that perspective (for either generation) isn't very complex or deep. Also, I'd like to take the time to point out that in G2, the Toa are still learning about their powers. At this point in time, a horde of head-sized spiders would still pose quite a threat to them if they don't have full control over or are unable to use their elemental powers.

Completely forgot about the polybag, but I'm more inclined to think it'll be a recolored Skull Spider and maybe a weapon or something (similar to the polybag we got with Brain Attack) over a gold Protector mask. Either one would be cool, though.

This is all sounding great. While I expected it to happen, more Mixels from past waves/tribes is nice to see just so the Infernites aren't so overpowered. And Vaka-Waka is purple, huh? He just got that much better.
-
Same here. But honestly, I know that that mask is coming sometime in the future (mask maker or otherwise), so I want confirmation of the gold Protector mask more-so than the MoCr. I need that gold Protector mask in my life.

Steampunk!? Finally! Love me some steampunk, and Mixels of that variety will be most welcome. And purple/lavender also sounds interesting. Gotta love purple Lego.

Pretty interesting that they're all (save Grinder) $15 sets. Not complaining; the cheaper the better.

Or it just wasn't covered yet (like what always happens with Constraction). Anyway, as eager as I am to hear more about the sets, I'm content with waiting until we get pictures.

I figure the stone region is a secluded, empty place that was ideal for testing a mega weapon (much like how the nuke was tested in the Nevada desert). I mean, it's desolate, private, and away from most civilizations (aside from the poor Stone village, but they could have been far enough away) so as not to negatively affect them. I like to believe Makuta made a conscious decision to test the mask away from society and in secret. I don't think even he knew what the Mask would be capable of, so having a nice, large testing site to gauge its power would be suiting. And since we're on the topic of Okoto, I'm not so much wondering about landmarks, but rather how big it is.

The two I mentioned were just the ones I was looking forward to the most. But honestly, they all seem to have something going for them. Slicer has four arms, Basher has purple, etc. The only one who doesn't seem to be very interesting is Warrior, but I feel that he's going to have something cool that we didn't expect.

Posed decently, ha! What a joke... Ahem. Anywho, I think I'm most excited to see S. Scorpion, S. Grinder, and Ekimu (of course). An animal character sounds great, and I'm hoping for Nui Jaga 2.0 (tail strike function, please!). Excited for Skull Grinder and Ekimu for obvious reasons.

If the story continues on after this, I kinda hope Makuta becomes a good guy... I don't know. I just think it'd be cool to see the big bad join the Toa much like Garmadon joined the ninjas in Ninjago. I really see this happening mainly because Makuta was never really evil and was mostly just corrupted by the MoUP and his jealousy. Also, Scarilian, I like you're Takanuva concept. Would be cool to see some kind of Legendary Toa/being who is able to control the MoUP. Maybe not a Toa of Light, though. Perhaps Toa of Time?

Oh my. I hope that was intentional, because that's awesome. Cool that they're available. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out.
