Nice to hear the Gallimimus Trap will become available at retail. I had a feeling it would remain exclusive (to the preorder for the game? Forgot how it was initially released). Looks like I'll be able to have a complete collection. On a side note, saw Jurassic World. Thought it was great. And definitely convinced me further to obtain all the Lego sets. Speaking of which, I really don't mind that some of the sets aren't that accurate to/didn't appear in the movie. I think Lego made the right decision to put out what they did. Though, I must say, I'd have much preferred if the Dilophosaurus set had a different Dino. Triceratops, Stegosaurus, or Ankylosaurus would have be much better even if it marked the price up a tad bit more.

Awesome to get confirmation that MMvSG does indeed come with a stand for the MoCr. I know we saw that at Toyfair, but I wasn't sure if it was just there to display the mask. Anywho, they all look pretty good. Hope to see them in stores soon (didn't see anything on my outing today).

Absolute adorableness. I'm super happy with how he turned out. Though I am kinda sad we probably won't be seeing EVE or MO.

lol. Pretty sure "cruel and dark" was the point of that movie. But opinions are opinions. You're entitled to your own. Personally, I loved 9. Such a unique movie. And the original short film was fantastic, too. And while I'm here, gotta recommend Princess Mononoke. Easily one of my favorite movies, and definitely my favorite Studio Ghibli movie.

I hope they reveal more sets at SDCC. I'd imagine they have a Kylo Ren in the works.

Nope. As it says in the article: "fans will have to wait until January 1, 2016 to purchase their own". Which is a good thing. This guy looks awesome. Glad to see 2015 isn't the end for this line.

Aah! That looks beautiful! I can't express how much I love the new Stormtrooper helmet, and Lego have a fantastic job of recreating it. And that blaster is pretty sweet too. Not familiar with SW blasters, but do you think it's possible we could see that in Bionicle? Maybe too futuristic-y...

Shock to my system. RIP, you awesome man. Granted, he was getting old, so it's not like he died young. He had a long, amazing life, but it's still sad to see him go.

It's not like it hasn't happened before. Anyone remember Iron Man vs Mandarin? I figure it's the mix of movie secrecy and non-finalized concept art with maybe a bit of creative license thrown in. I don't know how set design works, so I'm just guessing. Frankly though, after I see the movie, if I'm that disappointed with the inaccuracy of the sets, I'll still get 'em. Heck, I figured they wouldn't be accurate to the source material anyway. But I think the sets look cool, so I'll get 'em. I'll probably end up just branding it as another Dinosaur theme except with a JP/W flare to it.

Meh. I guess I just prefer more radical ideas. Heck, if I were in charge, the six elements would have been fire, water, earth, air, jungle, and metal, but that's another story. I guess I wouldn't mind a new... Origin story or whatever so long as it's done well. Plus, name-slaps have never been something that has bothered me.

Aw. No love for fem Taka? Alright. But female 7th Toa; wholeheartedly agree on that. I love female characters, and if Transformers is anything to go by, strong female leads are on the rise. Also, it'd be nice to see such a character to be ornamental and detailed, maybe even with an oriental inspiration to it. I'd love it if a 7th Toa was more of an ancient character from the past. Though Ekimu may already be filling that role... I figure they could just name the character Takanuva even if he/she had a different history. Heck, the 2015 Toa share names with the originals despite having different origin stories and differences in personalities. Though if that were the case with Taka, I suppose we get into "name-slap" territory, and people would complain about that.

Gosh darnit. I'll be on vacation that weekend. Maybe there's a TRU nearby so I can stop in and get me one.

Sorry for the double post, but I finished building the sets I got. Spyclops... I'll be honest, I hate this set. I don't really mind 'cuz it was cheap, and I'm going completionist anyway. But something about it, I just don't like. The model has zero articulation aside from spinning around, and the cannon nearly hits the ground (would have preferred it higher up). I mean, I would be find spending an extra couple bucks if they just gave the legs some Mixels balljoints to give it some articulation. Maybe I'll do that. And I don't think the minifigs are too great either... The 4x4, though. Now this is cool. A great mech and a great truck. I'm tempted to order the pieces for the mech in different colors just so I have a little army of them them. The truck is cool. Happy with the suspension and that the line launcher actually works (afraid it was going to get tangled or something). And the fact that it can seat two is even better. Plus, the app brick thingy can stick to the bottom back of the 4x4 for storage. I love it when you can store things. Oh, and the dog. I love this dog. So yeah. 4x4 is great. UA has been a knockout line, with Spyclops being really the only dud in my eyes. I'm kinda sad that this most recent wave is the end. :(

I'm all for making Takanuva a girl. That just sounds like it... Works. Make it happen, Lego.

Got my last Wave 2 sets at the Lego Store today, namely the 4x4 and Spyclops. Still need to build them, but once I do, I'll give my thoughts. This also means I'm all caught up on this line. Just need to get the last three sets, and I'll have the complete collection (they had the new sets, I just didn't pick any up). It's kinda weird, now that I think about it. When the line started, I figured I'd just pick up a few sets, and now I ended up collecting the whole lot. Glad I did. UA has been quite the theme.
