  1. Currenlty I am a collector not a MOCer. In the past I created rope showel excavator, but tbh making my own creations is not something I enjoy much, it is how it is.
  2. Generic Lotus Sports car is what we are missing in this year's Technic Line up. I have no more wishful thinking for the remaining three (or one) sets which yet to be revealed. Technic theme shifted to the other direction I would prefer and that is okay, because a lot of people enjoy collecting cars like I enjoyed collecting heavy duty machinery and helicopters. Today I bought 42053 from eBay. It was the last old set which I was aiming to own. Maybe it is good time to start looking for another hobby
  3. Disclaimer: Picture below is gendered by Gemini Nano Banana AI tool. It is not a picture of real set, just an impression of the product based on the specific prompt. The idea of the picture is to get the common sense if 1:8 scale hyper car in reddish brown colour would look like a brown turd
  4. There is no other colour for Saidar's spear: it is very limited edition car advertised in one colour only. I am not even sure if buyers were able to choose other colour than dark brown. Christian Keonigsegg himself is perfectionist so I don't see how his company would approve Lego cuts on cost
  5. Currently, For Saidar Spear brown is the only available colour option. This color is a tribute to Jesko von Koenigsegg’s favorite racehorse and his final race as a gentleman jockey in 1976. Maybe Keononinseg is planning to release Roadster version soon with different colour - we never know.
  6. TBH, It is bad the time and place for this off topic. Topic name "2026 Technic Set Discussion" speaks fot itself. Please find alternative thread to share opinion and share news about the other brands. Thank you
  7. Feels good not to care about 1:8 scale. From this perspective I think that Emira Sports car is a poor choice for series. But perhaps Lotus gave A LOT of money from their marketing budget in order their car to be the next 1:8 series. For brands like Ferrari, I guess Lego is paying fee for IP.
  8. If it flopped in your local Prisma, it does not mean it flopped in the other locations. Also, Lego may have contractual agreement with F1 to release particular amount of sets. Partnership was announced last year. I would bet F1 is paying Lego from their marketing budget to push the brand so agressively, not vise versa.
  9. Finally found a second hand set for a decent price (180 euros). Now I have two cranes in my possession, one will be used as a donor for larger crane. By the way, this set is officially retired for 2 months, but still available on lego.com. Is it something unusual ?
  10. Tumbler is C+ 719 pieces rigid shell (for 180 dollars)
  11. There are quite a few panels, beams in reddish brown https://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.asp?catID=154&catXrefLevel=0&colorPart=88&catType=P But I am not big fan of a colour for such large surface.
  12. Is 2026 the worst Lego Technic "off-season" ever? There is not much to discuss about regardless the number of sets is record breaking. TLG went quantity over quality. Bring back good old 2016 days
  13. Each machine is very small. Smaller than magazine set. Like 30 pieces each? Wondering about the price. Magazine is 6 euros, 80-90 pieces per set.
  14. So the crane is retired after two years. No continuous major sales on lego.com during the lifetime (looking at you, Zetros) so I guess it did quite well. It is nice that crane finally receiving recognition within a community. I think it was a great but misunderstood set. Have a copy myself, building experience (seeing the crane grow) was unprecedented. Works flawlessly and is stable at the expense of the accurate looks.
  15. 2026 will be the same as 2024, only different shell (my speculation). TLG just started to milk these new gearbox parts.
  16. From polish website June: (NEW) 42229 Mitsubishi Eclipse from The Fast and the Furious – 827 pieces, PLN 279.99. Medium model. (NEW) 42231 Dodge Charger from The Fast and the Furious – 1516 pieces, PLN 659.99. 42239 Batmobile – model based on Christopher Nolan's films. Set for 18+. August: (NEW) 42234 Dodge Viper GTS R – 805 pieces, PLN 279.99. (NEW) 42235 Ferrari – 882 pieces, PLN 279.99. (NEW) 42236 Ford Mustang – 973 pieces, PLN 389.99. Another version of the Mustang.
  17. Question is are we getting any heavy duty machinery this year (2000+ parts). I would not be surprised if tumbler will be small scale model (car transporter scale) with Zetros tyres at the back.
  18. I have an opportunity to grab this set sealed for 240 euros. I consider 240 as the RRP this set had to have. Still not sure if pull a trigger tho
  19. It should be 2025 model, based on previous f1 releases
  20. Posted on Facebook... Construction of New Lego facility in US. I wish scrapper one day will be a set
  21. The only purchase last year for me was bush plane and volvo front loader. That's it. I am still sour about the volvo excavator, that is the first technic heavy duty flagship which I haven't bought since 2011. I still cant process how Lego aproved functionality/pricing for 42215.
