Just curious, what happens if you have multiple weapons? For example, as a rogue I can use daggers(melee weapon) and shuriken(ranged weapon). If I had both, and I attacked from the back row, would I automatically use the shuriken? While if I attack from the front, would the dagger be my automatic weapon? Likewise if I had two daggers, one infused with a light gem and the other plain, would the attack automatically come from the best weapon for the situation, or would I have to clarify? Sorry if this is obvious, I just want to be sure.

De'kra looked over the heroes of old, noting the vast differences between them. Dwarves, elves, humans, giants; all of them were allies against the forces of evil. A unified force was a strong power, but a unified force made of unique individuals, each with their own perceptions and up brings, that team can adapt to any obstacle. The only danger to such a force is getting over their differences and learning how to work together. Suddenly De'kra noticed a chicken on his head. The shade grew still, slowing it's movements so the creature won't be startled.

I really hope that Jawblade doesn't have legs. He(she?) has a very unique shape, and I don't want it's exotic flavor ruined by being a humanoid, even a shark humanoid. I see that Phantom has one of Breez's blades in green, that could be useful. It reminds me of the Skrall swords, both came in red and green versions, and both had the larger set with the green variation.

De'kra nods, and clicks, "I hope you feel better." As he walked away, the shade turns his attention to the six original veterans' pictures. The six ancient heroes stood high on the wall, each with their main weapon in hand. "Wonder where Verterans' weapons went," he clicked to no one in particular, "To survive against entire army and win, weapons need strength. Even in current time weapons will powerful."

De'kra noticed a female cleric running off towards the gallery. She seemed stressed by something, perhaps by the strange movements the Metasimian had made. Not sure what happened that stressed the cleric, the shade followed after her. "You stress?" he asked after the cleric seemed to be slightly more relaxed.

De'kra returned from the library, now with a greater knowledge of Direwolves. Still, he had to wonder why the Direwolves socialized at all, with their power they should be able to take down any foe, well except for a band of heroes. As he returned to a shadowy region of the hall, he spotted a Metasimian make a weird eye movement accompanyed with a strange sound. The shade decided to listen in, in case the cause for this was explained.

De'kra walked into the library, and looked at the new book of the islands' known life. The life was divided into groups of terrain, from land, sea, and air. Among the bests of the land were the Direwolves, the race that his Fang Dagger hails from. It was interesting that they were social creatures, as they are already incredibly strong. So what creature could they hunt that is so strong it requires Direwolves to work together? And why do these wolves look so familiar...

De'kra hears two rogues discussing the quests, and listens in to their conversation. A short time later he sighs and turns away. It was true that one didn't need to be strong to be a hero, even the weakest heroes can help change the world. But at the same time one needs to know their limits, their flaws and issues. A good hero should be ready to face any danger, but not charge into an unnecessary fight. Besides, De'kra had never fought before...right?

De'kra glanced in surprise at the cleric, who had actually put on more clothes. What rational being would put more clothes on? De'kra wore his clothes merely toehold his weapons, the act was pretty much a chore. All they did was weigh a hero down, costing them valuable speed and accuracy. Sure, armor is good for protection, but the strain it takes to make and the slower pace it grants hurts more than it helps.

The shade watched as the half-shirt barbarian began to speak to another hero. The other hero seemed nervous in his speech, as he mentioned a letter. De'kra turned away as the two of them began to speak, noting that it didn't seem to be vital knowledge. Of course that won't stop him from hearing it, but he wasn't actively listening.

Okay this, this is massive. Lego tends to make small buildings, with just enough detail to get by. But this, this is the size a trap station would be in this world. Not only is there a resturent on top, but it is wide enough for two landings and two tracks. Your entire city is incredibly massive, yet detail fills every nock. With such a vast city, I have to wonder if there is any living space left. Either way, I don't see any issues, aside from some camera shots.

De'kra watched as the list of heroes for Quest 5 was updated. The rogue was unfamiliar with the names of those heroes, though some of them he recognized from the days prior. The shade wondered what that quest would be like, and what was lurking in that cave. At least for the moment it didn't affect him, so he could continue to wait to seethe chosen of quest 4.

Nce job, there certainly is a tribal vibe going on. The skull shoulder armor is a nice touch, and helps show that he had to repair himself with whatever he could find. The only issue I have is his weapons. Don't get me wrong, I like the tribal mask of a shield, but the silver seems out of place with his color scheme. And I have had a hatred of that sword since it first came out, it just is too uneven. But aside from personal taste, this MOC is great.

Harry Potter and the Sword of Irony
Tanma replied to the last chronicler's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Yes, something about the placement of the line was just great. Good to know that their adventures aren't over yet. I wonder if Sirius really did kill Hagrid... -
What is with those neon green things anyway. What are they for? Breez has them too, and they make both heroes look more cluttered. The new launchers are much better, they actually look like a projectile weapon, but aren't overly bulky like a Cordax blaster.

De'ka awoke, unsure of what today would bring. He still had plenty of time before the quests, especially if he wasn't picked to participate in this group. But what could he do for the days he had to wait for.

De'kra nods at Alf, and walks away. The shade heads off to sleep, though not out of need. Dreams were a calming thing, opening him a window to his past. However in truth he could not remember the dreams, only the taste of sweet memories.
-
De'kra shrugged and clicked, "I not know age. One year pass after I awoke, mean I definitely over one year old, but not know exact age. And I not know race; I not know lifespan. You know you past?"
-
De'kra clicked, "I De'kra. Name translates roughly to Dark Whispers, in home tongue. Name I when washed onto east southeastern region of island, and no memories. I only knew sunlight make I sad, and home tongue. About live shadows, I thought I felt thing in shadows. Probably rat."
-
De'kra spotted the barbarian from earlier enter the hall. "Greetings hero-who-ask-about-dagger," he said from his shadowy region in the hall, "you see new sights in village? Also, you know of any live shadows in hall?"
-
De'kra returned to the shadows of the room, far from the light. As he stepped into complete darkness, the shade leapt back. "Valmai!" he uttered, looking into the shadows tearfully. Slowly he backed away, and moved across the room to another dark corner. The light may cause him emotional pain, but that darkness, had brushed up against him. Did anyone notice his outburst, and that strange word; not found in any dialect?

The ones I immediately think of are from Harry Turtledove's many books. For instance, what if the colonies and England managed to negotiate, and the colonies remained a part of the British empire. A more unique idea, what if the alliance between Japan and Britain held, and the British fought in WWII as an axis power. Or what if Hero of Alexandra's steam engine became mass produce, allowing an early steam age.

De'kra nods in reply, and heads towards the hall. Apparently there were seven vices of dean mans, not only seven dean mans. Perhaps there are seven tribes of dean man, based on preference. The number seven did not sit in De'kra's mind well. It was only the third best number in existence, it was not infallible. Either way, there were many questions but few answers.
-
De'kra emerged into the library, hoping his time here would be well spent. "You say there seven dean mans, of pride, lust, greed, envy, sloth, gluttony, and wrath. But what demons exactly? There heroes who think Abraxas eat souls, because captured souls found in Ziegfried crate, and Ziegfried basement has Abraxas inside. Dean mans eat souls? Also, why will they?"

I am not sure how I feel about the dinosaurs yet. They seem a little too realistic for Minifigures to exist with. Minifigures have hands shaped like magnets, and earless heads(save the elf) I am not sure how the dinosaurs would look like alongside them. But who knows, I might grow to like them.
