  1. I get ushered into the Ziegfreid residence, smiling under my veil and nodding. "It's been too long, Arthur. Yes, Althior handed us the address as soon as he got back. I take it you've found a life you're satisfied with? I hope the amount of guests you've been recieving today hasn't disrupted things..."
  2. "Thank you, Althior. My guess is we'll both be going to Fellcreste, so, see you soon." I set out for the address written, along with Karie. I stand back as she knocks. "I wonder if the Ziegfrieds even remember me..."
  3. "Just... A warning. Since I don't like seeing new heroes turn up dead after the first day on the job. Another mercenary Faust hired was in here today. He said the first group of hired swords that attempted to kill it, well, died. Stay sharp out there."
  4. "I wish you the best of luck, then. Does Moone have a military?"
  5. "How do you plan on stopping a dragon whose title is "The Ancestral Oppressor" without violence?
  6. "Touche." I chuckle. "Maybe he was being pragmatic, maybe he is being a coward. Who knows - nobody here has laid eyes on Vorpalis yet. I don't suppose you're intending to go out and slay the beast, are you, Skrall?"
  7. "Yes, I wear the hood so not everyone is stunned by my undying beauty." I quip. "As for current matters... The questboard currently has three quests up, I believe. One to rout out a necromancer from a necropolis - that's my personal pick, but I'm going to go on a limb and say it's not your style. The other one to travel around the world with an aristocrat - culturally stimulating, but ship travel is a chore for me. And finally, one regarding a dragon that needs killing in Moone. From what I heard, the bastard already razed half of the country. Exiled the king of Moone from his own country, too."
  8. I reluctantly retract my hand. "I used it when I had a town I need to run from. That was... a long time ago. And you are mostly right. I happen to have a less than pleasant face. Comes with the territory of being undead."
  9. "Maybe just a coincedence, Karie?" I turn to the Moon Elf. "Don't think I've introduced myself... I'm Sorrow." I offer my hand for a handshake.
  10. "...It will be very odd if we are to quest together." With that, Sandman picks up his helmet, pays his hefty tab and leaves the hall.
  11. The Sky is Falling would've been newbie friendly if newcomers signed up for it, and hell, Walking Through The Parlor was made for them.
  12. Bit redundant, no? I mean, there's areas marked "easy" for good reason.
  13. Sandman stands up. "Tell me, before I leave. Did my associate misinform me about that Masson incident?"
  14. I'm still not sure whoever had the second Topaz, but whoever did, ya framed me, ya bastard!
  15. "I think I want to head home. It was, ah, fun, caliph. As fun as the whole '"life in jeopardy trial" thing could get... But I need to go home to Ma and Pa." Terry steps through the portal, returning to Eubric.
  16. Great, now I wanna see that... Scuba, you intereseted in co-hosting it with me? Guts? Guts?! GUUUUUUUUUUUTS!
  17. Guts is actually Faust, King of Moone, confirmed.
  18. "I go as the job dicates, and as the client orders. They must pay for transportation, of course, but yes - I've only been here for half a day.
  19. "I shoot people and they die. That's about it." Sandman takes a look at Karie's hand, and says nothing. "Or, in this case, dragon."
  20. "...I am aware of more than a few people who would like me dead, and only know me by my actual name. That's why I'm fine unmasking but choose to use an alias - it's even why I picked up the alias in the first place. Just call me Sandman. ...You wanted to know if my name matched with the person you're thinking of, didn't you."
  21. "...I probably should have warned you about the drink."
  22. "If you mean to Eubric, then that's really it. If you mean this Hall specifically: Drinks. I know they're not free - I can see the matron filling out the tab from over here - but neither are the ones anywhere else. This Hall was on the way to a couple of other stops, too."
  23. "In all likelihood, yes. An associate told me he had the crosshairs lined up on his head when he realized his target was tying a noose. Decided it was best not to leave any evidence of his presence and left. So, yes, you probably have been seeing things. "
  24. "If memory serves, his name was Masson."
