  1. I look as Sorona constantly attempts to obliterate me, again and again, her every attack being deflected by Maurice's Guardian Angel. Either my luck went rancid, or I truly caused the Harbinger to snap. "Thank you, you two. I wasn't at my peak there, that was for sure - you guys were really the one to take out the crazy megablock, not me. Everyone come out of their prisones without any negative effects?" I kneel down on one knee in front of the Harbinger's ashes, gazing cautiously at them. "I don't like this. She has remains - we need to dispose of them."
  2. Ah, so can we play a game of chess with Haroka to the death? No need to give us extra loot due to your blunder's Rumble! It's all cool.
  3. Snark is genetically imbued into my every creation. Fact. As is failure to check over my post myself.
  4. You guys should've saw the meeting coming, I changed my avatar and everything.
  5. How's that for a Final Boss design, 48ers?! Eidolon is probably my favorite design yet.
  6. The party forges onwards, going through the only pathway they could find. Inexplicably, the party finds themselves here, right before the infinity corridor. Egar to test out Johon's theory, they go through the gate... And find themselves here. The party forges forward a whopping nine times, seemingly walking in a loop over and over. They go in and out of the fog, getting increasingly disoriented by their surroundings. it seemed like this corridor would repeat itself forever... After going forward 9 times, the party decides to head backwards. Once again the fog consumes them, surrounding them on all sides. While stepping through this final patch of fog, the sound of wings flapping and static get closer and closer, more and more audible... as they emerge from the enveloping fog, the party finds themsleves in a clearing. Beofre they could celebrate their mystery of getting through another trial, the party realizes that a huge creature hangs above them, casting its gargantuan shadow on the puny heroes. Before the heroes could process who they were about to meet he divebombs, landing gracefully in the clearing. The colossal's beast landing sends forth a billowing cloud of dust, nearly flinging the party back. The dust stings and burns the party eyes, and they are thus forced shut. The sound of static grows louder and louder, and the heroes open their eyes to gaze upon the horror that had just greeted them... The rain almost seems to intensify in the formidable beast's presence, the gigantic aerial Progg covered in a thick, steely armor. It's eyes glow bitterly as it stares menacingly at the heroes, knwoing it was them who fell his dear brothers. His hands were compeltely enveloped in a lethal-looking red electricty, the voltaic energy being the source of all the static they had heard earlier. His claw's were adorned in fiendish, harpoon-esque gauntlets. His tail seemed to be even more dangerous then his razor sharp claws, the triple pronged weapon of destruction being held as if it was already ready to strike. His 4 giant wings idly flap, the air-enabling appendages covered in barbs and glowing symbols. They were in the presence of the soon-to-be-emperor of all Proggs, Eidolon. He speaks with pure malice, a condescending a guttaral voice that frightened the already shocked heores. "I see you recieved The Suffering's invitation, you worthless little insects."
  7. Will the party head forward?
  8. "Where'd you get *wheeze* 10 ups from? That doesn't seem right..." QM Note: You are so very, very close.
  9. "Very well then." Order: Mizuki: Retrive/throw at Sorona (back) Sorrow: Stab Sorona with Longsword (back, front if guardian angle is rolled. Do nothing if Mizuki gets hit. If Maurice runs out of ether/we don't kill Sorona in 10 rounds, use Ether Core on Maurice instead.) Maurice: Attacks Srona, front. Heals Mizuki if she gets harmed.
  10. "Hmm... I think that *wheeze* they are instructions of sorts, and that the infinity symbol correlates with the symbol we saw before... Maybe "JOY" is the end *cough* result?"
  11. Gah, right you are, Rumble! I apologize. "Your body language can be read like an open book. For example, right now, the quizzacal look on your face, combined with the fact that the barrier amplifies the sound of your heartbeat, amkes it quite clear you are questioning what I said. Yes, I only walked - crawled, rather - this planet for 6 months. I was not designed to be an undead slave. I was created for the purpose of reviving a being like they once were, a being capable of free thought, growing, changing. I orginally had skin, you know. But not everything always goes according to plan... And... things change."
  12. "I'm quite aware I'm dead, Holla. You can't do much to defend yourself or strategize when you're stuck in a burning building and you are only 6 months old."
  13. I notice Guts squirming from within his translucent, bubble-esque prison. "Playing convervatively is the way to victory."
  14. "Okay, maybe I should elaborate a bit more on why I want Maurice standing by. He can still roll Guardian Angels, and Sorona has no chance of giving him a hard whack to the side of the head. ...Who am I talking to...?" "Try not to snap, Sorrow. I know from expereince it isn't a joy."
  15. There is a carving on the inside of the stump. Infinity sign, U, U, U, U, U, U, U, U, U, D, JOY. What could it mean?
  16. Kind of wish you hadn't had Nerwen target Sorona, but oh well. And why did you move Hlin to the front? "Mmmmrrrrph. She is fresh out of barrier spells. Maurice, stand by for healing. I want you to heal me every round, no matter what. Heal Mizuki if she takes a hit. I will keep attacking Sorona from the back row with my longsword, front if your guaridna anel arrives. Mizuki will alternate between throwing and retrieving. We'll poke Sorona to oblivion." Order: Mizuki: Retrive/throw at Sorona (back) Sorrow: Stab Sorona with Longsword (back, front if guardian angle is rolled. Do nothing if Mizuki gets hit. If Maurice runs out of ether/we don't kill Sorona in 10 rounds, use Ether Core on Maurice instead.) Maurice: Heal Sorrow, back. If Mizuki gets hit, heal Mizuki, back. Okay, we should be able to coninue like this until the battle is over and done.
  17. Although it's previous results were somewhat helpful, the compass proved useless right now. It simply flailed randomly and rapidly, providing no meaningful information whatsoever. The party heads backwards, still processing the mysterious symbol. They find themselves in a new room, this one also having a mere one way to go: straight. The room was populated with a variety of flora hanging from the walls, swaying in the breeze as their thirst was quenched by the consant downpour of rain. A single stump stis in the room.
  18. Johon reaches into the pond. Kneeling down on the muddy ground and submering his arm in the mystical waters, Johon fishes around for something - anything! He pulls up a small wooden box containing... 30 gold. QM Note: You rolled a three. B&P, please note, you can only have 3 artefacts equipped: I accidentally allowed you to equip the hood, despite the fact you already had the Heavy Armor, Rover, and The Hide of The Bleeding on. The familiar purple gas congregates around the party, completely enveloping them. However, at this point the party has been completely desensitized, and simply press forward. They eventually break free from the peculiar fog, greeted by a new area. An odd symbol lies at the party's feet, a symbol similar to the one above the archway they just passed through. A sign gives a foreboding warning: He who wnaders endlessly - thou are a fool.
  19. Dini forest is an enigma to be sure, a mystified place where one wanders forevermore!

    1. Dannylonglegs

      Dannylonglegs

To quote The Raven, "The Night's Plutonian shore." shall be reached when all are saven, of that you can be shore,

  20. Sylph looks into the water's depths, unable to discern it's contents - not unlike the previous body of water they had encountered. However, it seemed deeper... The rewards would be greater if they dared to reach in - as would the consequences! Will Sylph reach in? QM Note: Once again, a die will be rolled.
  21. Every twist and turn exists to baffle and confuse, the party will get baffled in my elaborate ruse.

    1. Dannylonglegs

      Dannylonglegs

Every bend and corner encountered on this trail, will only be a warner that we shall not fail.

  22. QM Note: He's dead, Sherlock. The Suffering is the winged member of the Gladius Unit, not The Wound. The party presses onwards, completely drenched by the unrelenting downpour. Pressing onwards, the party finds themselves in a new area of this perplexing forest. Water spouts from a crack in the wall, creating another miniature pond. The only way seems to be straight.
  23. "Hmm, you have a point. Since you are lucky, you wouldn't mind healing us if one of us takes a knock, right? Nerwen is going to hold off the stag no matter what, and I'd like our lucky healer attending to the wounded. How does this sound to you? Order: Mizuki (back, shuriken, Sorona) Sorrow (front, Sorona) (if Mizuki gets damaged, do nothing) Hlin (front, Sorona) (If I or Mizuki gets damaged do nothing) Nerwen (Heal Stag, back) Maurice (Attack Sorona, back. If any of us get damaged, heal the party meber with the least amount of HP.)
  24. The party pushes the staue to the right, the distant rumbling once again sounding. With the statue relocated, they head back to the room with the large statue... Only to see it too had moved when it's younger borther was being shifted! Will the party progress down the revealed passage?
  25. Thank you! I had worried 46 had scared you off (dear god that was a huge blunder) but 48 is proving to be better... exponentially.
