As the party leaves the subterranena Storeroom, Fydelle stops for a moment while the other go topside. Through the hatch they exitted from, they can hear Fydelle converse with his wounded troops.
"Sir... This is nothing short of suicide."
"I'm well aware."
"But... then, why do this?! Why not linger back in this storeroom's safety, come up with a plan -"
"This is literally the only thing we can do. It is either linger and become an unsuspecting slave of these bastards... Or go out trying to change something for the better. I'm still wounded. I may very well die. But my brother was able to accept this fate when he was struck down in the invasion; I may not be as good of a fighter as he ever was, but I like to think I'm a better soldier. I'd rather die heading into the chrage than perish in the shackles of another."

Fydelle surfaces, and the collective group all begin their walk to the Stronghold for the final confrontation.
The Colony as now eerily silent, not a single sign of life remaining - even some of the buildings were ransacked and destroyed. Parts of the Colony looke dlike they were never even inhabited now, a stark contrast to the bustling and overcrowded place it was earlier. The party walks along in silence, wondering how much had truly happened while they were a sleep.
However, Solon breaks the silence.
