The Minoid strikes, and is quickly countered by Dodekka. Using the robot's momentum,he delivers a crushing blow that knocks the Minoid out unconscious instantly. He clanks and whirrs as he hits the floor, chanting errors in a scratchy monotone. This round's only saving grace is Cliff's quick manuevers, weakening Dodekka and then rendering his normal physical attacks null. "What...?"   7. I wouldn't really consider him to be evil ever, really. Mentally ill due to loneliness and prior trauma, but not evil.
  8. Well, no, you could beat him if you strategized well enough. But you wouldn't. (In all seriousness, though, the boss would be far from impossible. I actually posted his battle stats way back when, if you want to see what you evaded.)

  10. 70 actually had its boss battle avoided! (No other quests of mine have allowed it, though, unless you count 86 getting stomped.) If you want bosses, read Quest 48. Four multi-phase boss fights in one quest.

  13. QM Note: I believe the Lens say scroll casting the action immediately after... Otherwise, the Lens would allow someone to frail an enemy and than attack on the same turn without being hastened. Forcing the attack --> scroll order fixes that. Dodekka rolls out of the way and slashes at Arthur, splattering his inky blood all over the room. Arthur counterattacks, landing a powerful hit on the Devil. The Minoid does the same, further weakening the Devil leader. Claire heals the Minoid's wounds, purging the surplus electricity from his sytems. The rest of the Devils pounce, but are for the most part uneffective. However, static courses through the rest of the heroes, weakening them... "NNNNRRRGH!"
