Im look up in awe at the blue sky replacing the white void. I sigh and nearly collapse, using my scythe as a cane to keep myself slighglty steady. I dig it into the Atrium floor to anchor my battered body, looking up into the much welcomed sky. In the process I crush a few spectral shards, the remains of our final foes shattering and becoming dust - perhaps of my own duplicate. "I honestly thought... I honestly thought that I'd never see the sky again. Ever. But... We won. I don't care what you give me for spoils. We've won, we've made it out, that's all that matters to me right now."

I shoot Mirror Amorith from the back row, twice, switching to Mirror Sorrow if Mirror Amorith is dead by my first/second shot. "Karie, would you mind making Amorith fragile?"

I had Proggs drop gold in all 20 or so battle phases of 48. Maybe your instincts are sharper than mine.

Oh, trust me, I know too. Which is why I didn't want to draw it out and just execute him immediately. I care more about gold earnings then being able to instakill most of it, to be perfectly honest.

Mirror Hymnessamine and Mirror Karie are both quite dead due to the Darkness Chaotic bomb - the immunity cancels out with the strength, meaning it deals the basic 100 damage. Plus, as Myrrdyn noted, Jonah should be nearly dead. I smile as many of the copies shatter into pieces, although I grimace a bit as the inverted Karie turns to dust. "Game, set, and match, almost." I shoot Mirror Amorith and then Jonah, both with my Mockthril Longbow.

And you say my boss battles are rule bendy - you just rewrote one of the negatvie effects that's been around since day one. In all seriousness, though, it really does seem like you've rewritten the rules to provide challenge... It seems artificial if it isn't tough by the boundaries of Heroica's rules. I thought that that was how it applies to heroes. So any enemy that uses ether in a free hit must now be sealed to stop it? It really can't be defined as "free hits trigger Special Damage" either, because minus Drucilla, the free hit attacks don't match up with their special skill...
