Mortimer glides his fingers across the plaque on the door, spelling "The Celestial Shield." With a hiss the door slides upwards, the party's passage through now assured. They pass forward and find themselves in a cylindrical room, blue torches lining the staggeringly tall walls. A darkness lies at the ceiling, perhaps from the lack of lighting, perhaps from something more sinister. A lift lies in the center of the room. Would the party prepare for the trials ahead?

Vote: Philip (PirateDave84) If only because the wording of the previous posts suggests he is also unconfirmed. Essentially just semantics, but given the absolute drought that is today (other than "Rah rah kill the Sonar technician!") I have no other suspicions. -

"Huh, I was thinking we could all just take down the toughest foes. Which would you prefer?" Lynne attacks the Drowner Sailor from the front row. -
Johon wheels the special scope into position, placing it directly in front of the nebulous orb. He places his eye to the other end of the scope, and peers into the orb. It felt just like he was gazing into the night sky... What constellation was hidden in this celestial mess?

Jeaux reads the inscription on the door. A soft metal plate is below the inscription, apparently for writing things on. Simply drag your finger across the plate, by the looks of things, and it would leave a mark.
-
Looking through the scope, Johon finds everything staggeringly bright and washed out, obscuring their surroundings. How peculiar... Wheeling the scope along, the party heads into the North End of the Observatory tower. On prominent display is a galaxy model much like the ones in the foyer, but much darker. Just from glances, the party can perceive nothing inside the nebulous orb. There is a door on the far side of the wall, with an inscription written on it.

I suppose there is no escaping this one. In the interest of the town: I would suggest casting your eyes onto your own block. I know I've said this once, but it needs repeating: If I am not, scum, that means your town block has been successfully infiltrated. I know for a fact that I am not allied with the Russians, so I sincerely hope you can find the imposter and out him before things get too ugly. Unless you intend to give me a way to plead my case, I'm a dead man walking now. C'est la vie. -

Thanks, and noted! Also, leofwin is Blessed, so he should not be damaged. "Good start! Now, "Red Dragon", lets see what you're capable of." Lynne attacks red Dragon from the front row. -
No problem, Zeph!

"We'll see about that, you madwoman!" Lynne bludgeons the Drowned Berserker from the Back Row. -
The cart glides across the floor effortlessly, leaving the party in the foyer. The only remaining direction was North.

"You... Want to hurt the real Masson?" Em and Johon inspect the odd telescope. They find that it is not, in fact, boobytrapped, but has several odd traits nonetheless. The lens was made of a unique glass, far different from those of the Soul and Spirits Glasses... And it was mobile. Tiny treads on the bottom of the podium allow the fixture to move with ease.

That sounds awfully arrogant. All I can say is, I sure as hell hope you have other leads, because when I flip town, you're going to be in danger of having your town block infiltrated. I'm being serious here. As much as I might as wall be talking to a brick wall here ( at least sound echoes off a wall) I know I am loyal. And if everyone is else is a supposedly confirmed townie, you're going to have to start reevaluating your block. Super jumpy would imply counter voting, getting angry, etc. I would like to think I was reasonable, and at the least, clear. So in order for clarity: a vanilla townie should be not only active and constructive, but also completely docile? Huh? Besides, like I said: I was drawing reactions out of Mencot, in the case that he would live to Day 3 -

Boris was already convicted by the time he voted. I would've switched should someone else, but it would've ultimately been superfluous. And if I did do that, I probably would've been accused for flip-flopping, or just being the seventh vote. Was there any action there that could've been interpreted as "not scummy", simply becxause I didn't jump on the band wagon fast enough? You could convinct Philip of the exact same logic, in fact. He also voted for someone else after before Bob was convicted. Is he the only one on the list, besides me, that the town block has not yet confirmed? -

"I have a feeling they'll try, Polly. I can't lie to you about that... But... We can stop them, alright?" -
"..." Alice stares, wide eyed, at the scene before her. The other masson's death is rather prolonged. While he killed his counterpart with a swift, upwards slash, karie instead opts for a more furious option, stabbing him repeatedly in the gut. Ink spurts out, staining Karie's outfit, mixing with her makeup and cuasing it ro run and bleed. The shredded Doppel speaks in between gasps of breaths, its midsection now practically nonexistent from karie's stabbing. "Reminds... me of the night we spent after watching the... Dream Oath, but with more... knives. The Regret has made you so... Strong... But you are still... So very weak..." The Doppel dissapates with one final stab, reduced to mere ink. All that remained in the room where the Doppels' remains and an odd telescope device.

Lynne backs up, eyes still locked on the crew of the Red Dragon, and backs up slowly. She approaches the hiding Polly, and tries her best to awaken some sort of maternal instinct. "Polly... Polly. It's gonna be okay. Be strong - for Mr. Sanders, alright?" -
"You're too afraid to see your husband mowed down by Boomingham, even though I'm a fake. Remind me too much of him? Please, Lawrence, do the deed. Stab me and kill me."
-
Masson hesistates a bit, before gingerly slicing his palms - black ink coming out. "Go ahead. Kill me. It was a nice try, though, wasn't it?"

Mostly at Malcolm's random statements. Assuming he wouldn't get vig killed, I wanted to see what he would say if we had to confront him Day 3. I legitmately thought he was scum at the time. By being harsher instead of dismissive, I figured I could draw out more of his odd behavior. -

If there is any questions you'd like answered, I'd be happy to answer them. I can assure you I'm loyal, but I'm assuming at least one or two of you are deadset otherwise. -

Lynne's heart beats as not only the fog, but the massive ship, begins to come towards them. "It... It is real! My first battle in heroica, against a legend..." Lynne mutters. "Ahem, um, anyway. You in the back there, red head! Why are you assaulting this ship? Mere piracy?"
