  1. Yeah, I know, that doesn't sound like a battle theme either. That, and Diana carries tones of Athena (or more accurately, Aristotle Means). I grab music from all over the place, though. For example, the first phase of 105's final battle will probably be I'm not sure why I'm so obsessed with having music attached to my battles. i usually just post whatever I listen to when running the rounds of that battle, but sometimes the songs just... don't fit with Heroica. Such as the ones I used for the Ameoboss/Seerus.
  2. If I can get a battle order, maybe I can watch my fire elemental enemies get wrecked. Also, Flipz, I know it's not AA, but this sounds a little more like a battle,

The monster is untargettable and gets a free hit every round for 3 rounds. Aura (Mortimer): Mortimer's duplicate Inspires itself, but also takes all damage dealt to other enemie sin the North flank for the next round. Roots of Life (Erdathcath): Heals 50 HP to all allies in the North flank, even resurrecting fallen ones with 50 HP. Revived enemies drop no loot. Ravage (Johon): Deals 50 damage to the entire party. Alchemize (Punii): Punii's doppelganger makes bomb. At the end of the next round, if the Doppel is not defeated, he detonates it, doing 50 damage to the entire party - disregarding SP. Uses the Special of whoever is currently targetting it. Passive Specials: Mirrored Potential: The Infernal Doppel's level is equal to the attacking hero's level x2. Hot Plasm: Killing the Infernal Doppel causes it to burst into scalding hot ink. Due to this, when the Infernal Doppel is defeated, all heroes recieve the Burning 2 effect. Drops: Counterstrike Gloves "You've done wrong, and now you'll pay for it." Infernal Doppel B, Level ?? Fiery Humanoid HP: 450/450 Immune to Weakened! I will tell you a secret, though: We Doppels aren't really combat units. Oh, we can hold our own just fine. We have weapons, and we're even made out of fire when we're not copying people. We're more of a... Kill and replace type of fellow, I guess you could say."

You won't believe that we've lit you ablaze until half your body is nothing but ash." Before Boomingham knows it, he's staring at a nearly perfect copy of himself. The other remains as Karie. "Ask and you shall receive, chap." The other Doppel drops the script, no longer speaking in a monotone. Even its inflection matched that of Karie's, now, making only it's red eyes the distinguishing factor. "Sometimes things just happen. Like what happened to notre mari." Before they know it, Karie was speaking to a dead ringer of herself. The imitation, minus the eyes, was next to perfect. The voice, the mannerisms, the body language were all uncanny. "All of those who we dispose of must in the fire must be reported y name." States Karie(?) matter-of-factly.This was a far better imitation than the last Doppel she had dealt with.
  13. Em drawing his weapon seems to trigger some nw behavior in the Devils. "Identify yourselves. Immediately."
  14. The fountains were nothing of particular note, or so it seemed. There was a hole in the bottom to allow the pools of water to drain, but that was the only feature of note. Her hand covered in the remains of two different Oculoids - one of them, the highest ranking Oculoid in existence - Karie presses down on the door. It at first rejects the tattoo around Karie's forearm, only to absrob Seerus's blood. The door clicks as it unlocks. With something of a disregard for the one who opened it, Boomingham walks straight into the crematorium... And into the audience of several of The Regret's minions. The first to speak were some rather fiery looking Oculoids. "Hm? Intruders, here?" Next were a pair of Proggs, brainwashed into servitude by The Regret. They had lost their color and had been bleached black, an aura of smoke surrounding them. Their bodies were now twisted and sharpened, the already strong creatures shaped into killing machines. "Heroicans, if I would have to hazard a guess." The final enemies were two odd, inky humanoids. A fire bruns in their translucent, armored chests, illuminating their skeletal figures. They were a type of Devil - products of the Doppel project. They stand, silent. ". . ."
  15. Mortimer reaches the top of the stairs without incident, careful not to step in or smudge Seerus's inky trail. The large door before him was unlocked. As Karie leans in towards the door, she can smell the odor of smoke slipping out through the crevices. Her magnifying glass revealed the door was not trapped, but it did need some sort of proof that whoever was pushing down on the plate was not a low-ranking minion... The plate is smudged with blood and ink from various troops.

Ascending up the dim passage, the party throws open a door, and fins themselves ushered into the Citadel... The room seemed just as imposing as the exterior of the Citadel. The corridor was tranquil enough, but a thick sense of dread and uneasiness hung over the heroes, the room cold and chilly. The room's architecture was dark and gnarled. The room's ceiling tapered off into a gothic point, causing sound to echo around the foyer. There were two doors: One at the bottom level of the room with a peculiar lock, and another at the upper level. Leading to the upper door was a trail of inky blood - Seerus'. It would seem he went that way... What will the party do?

It'd at least show us the way out of these caverns..."
