Some interesting bit of news on the Yoda Chronicles: Source I don't know if this was confirmed before, but now we know that it will be a series, not a one-off special like Padawan Menace or Empire Strikes Out. Which also explains how there will be enough material to fill a whole book about it.

What about Elrond? I know we're getting him in a set this year, but for now he's an exclusive character. And they wouldn't need any new molds for characters like GL or MM. But maybe you're right that they're saving the new characters for sets. I'm just bummed that the only new DC super hero and villain that we're getting this year are Aquaman and Zod.

Yeah, shame about Motorcity. It seems as though all the good shows are getting axed in their prime these days. Let's hope Tron will get renewed and that Transformers Prime and Korra will return soon.

Am I the only one who thinks that Clark fig is completely useless? The torso, while looking good, is only usable for one specific scenario, and since he's a minifig, you can't even pose his arms so that it looks like he is ripping his shirt open. At least you can use the head to make a regular Clark I guess, but I don't think many people were clamoring for a Clark Kent minifig to begin with. This would have been an excellent opportunity to give us another JL member, but we are denied a Flash, GL, Cyborg, or Martian Manhunter once again. Also: Why can't THAT be Batman's alternate face?!? It looks so much cooler than the awkward grin that he has on the real minifig! With that said, I will probably end up buying it for completeness sake anyway.

And here are some thumbnails of them: LEGO Games 50003 Batman by motayan, on Flickr LEGO Games 50006 Legends of Chima by motayan, on Flickr LEGO Games 50011 Lord of the Rings The Battle for Helms Deep by motayan, on Flickr It's very hard to make out, but I'm guessing the microfigs in the Batman game are: Batman, Robin, Nightwing/Gordon?, Bane?, Mr. Freeze, Joker, Two Face?, and Riddler. EDIT: Well, according to this article, the microfigs are Batman, Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, Mr Freeze, Joker, Two Face and the Riddler. Looks like I was pretty close! All I have to say is that they better make real minifigures of Nightwing and Batgirl soon or else this will be a very mean teaser.

For Madame Webb, one could probably just use Madame Hooch's head and hair on a (dark) red body with maybe white hips. It would look pretty close and would be quite fitting considering the similar names.

Thanks!True, but I couldn't come up with a good caption, plus I just wanted to take a picture of cap in that ice block.

Looks like Lotso's name stands for "Lots of Killing Bear". I also didn't think that Lotso counts as an animal, but I'm glad he does because this is awesome! Good luck!

Thanks everyone. And nice shots again, Captain Nemo! That Iron Man one makes it look like the stealth armor. I took some photos of Marvel figs as well: Dark Side of the Spider by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Nick Fury by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Thawing Cap by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr

Why would they make a secret out of it? As you said yourself, the Patriot armor is one of the things they are promoting the movie with, so everybody knows about it already. Plus it seems they have a codename for Rescue, so even if they were keeping the Iron Patriot a secret, why wouldn't they have one for him? And what does the minifigures not being ready for display have anything to do with Mandarin's rings?

I agree with pretty much all you said. I found it very entertaining, more so than any of the other episodes this season, but mostly because Discord and Fluttershy are my two favorite characters on the show, so an episode about the two was an automatic win for me. True, the plot could have been better, and a song definitely would have helped too (Discord really needs a villain song, but alas I don't think that's going to happen now) but it was still fun. The elements are just plot devices, so I'm not too thrilled about them staying in Ponyville, but Discord is such a delightfully mischievous and creative character, even when he is trying to do good, so I'm definitely looking forward to see more of him. That was... amusing. I'm a bit shocked that they even produced this episode, but being a fan of Dexter's Lab, I'm glad I got to see it. Thanks for sharing! Hm... Looks stylish! I like it. Where/when will this air?

That would be very awesome and would make sense too! Better than an Iron Patriot in my opinion. Let's hope that's what it is.And I'm also among the people who are happy that most of the sets are so small and cheap. I don't have the money nor space to buy and display large sets at the moment, so these will be a great way to get all these awesome figs. I'll be getting all of the IM3 sets, but I'll only get the Lois/Zod set from the MoS line, just for those figs. Not interested at all in the other two, but pictures or the movie might change my mind.

From FBTB: Sounds pretty cool. Can't wait to get a micro-Batman and Joker and whoever else they decide to include! Also hoping for some clever micro-scale builds like a micro-Batmobile! Hopefully the US will get this one.

Well, that's disappointing. We can make a Darth Vader with medal right now using the one from the CMFs, we don't need to buy a DVD for that. I was really hoping for a Luke in Darth Vader disguise. Oh well.

I still don't see it. I only see three highlighted holocrons: one for the trailer, one for that Umbara clip, and one for a wallpaper with Yoda and the younglings.

Nice pictures everyone! Although I'm afraid I don't understand yours, JeagerEX. Since I'm starting to run low on ideas for licensed theme funnies, I decided to do some with the CMFs. So here's some fun with minifigs and parts from Series 9. The first one isn't strictly a CMF-related funny, and it's a bit naughty, but I didn't know where else to post it, so here you go: Andrea's Bunny House by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr James Bored by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Cleopatra's Husband by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr

Where are you supposed to be able to download that? I tried entering the code from the instructions booklets on the main page, but it only unlocks a sort of commercial for the Rancor Pit.

Yes, I think it's pretty obvious that the Mando Speeder will be a Buirk'alor-class airspeeder. Well, that's a Mandalorian starfighter, not a speeder, and as DarthPotato pointed out, they already made a set of that. There is a shuttle variant that Lego hasn't made yet, but I don't think that's what the set will be.

That would make sense and would explain their childish behaviour. It would be quite ironic as well since that seems to be the target audience for this show.

Thanks! And yes, that Dr. Doom sure is great. Here are some more: Spiders by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Lazy Guards by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr No-Eyed Witch Statue by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 5 Discussion
Oky replied to LEGOman273's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Alright, here's our review of Point of No Return. And I'm not sure if any of these have been posted before, but there are several previews of the next episode, Eminence, which pretty much make up the first 3 minutes of the episode: And there's a bonus preview on StarWars.com. -
True, the theme of drugs on this show is a bit disturbing. But not as disturbing as how sexist this show is. All the women are either inexplicably evil or weak damsel in distress type characters. Ninjago had this issue as well, but at least Nya and Lloyd's mother were strong and skilled fighters and saved the ninjas on several occasions. As Faefrost pointed out, it's much worse in LoC, especially regarding Eris. Those feminists who were complaining about Friends should take a look at these shows.

Nice work. I was thinking about doing this as well and you built it almost the same way I would. Unfortunately I'm not too fond of the design, but I think this is how it's gonna look. Nonetheless, as others have said, it's nice to see that Robin gets some love, and this is a nice way to get him if you don't already have him.

I have to agree with most of what's been said, these episode were pretty bad. It's quite obvious that this is aimed at a very young audience, even a younger one than Ninjago, which isn't a smart move in my opinion as it will alienate the Ninjago fans. I had imagined the voices to be a lot more deep and menacing, but they were quite high-pitched and childish. Laval's was especially annoying. I also expected most of the characters to be more intelligent, especially the ravens, but apparently these animals aren't as evolved as I thought they were. The pacing is all over the place, the characters are shallow and boring, and there is hardly any story. There are animals, they fight, end of story. And the ceremony at the beginning was almost an exact copy of the one in the first ThunderCats episode! Also: Why doesn't anybody ever die in these shows?? The fact that Cragger's parents survived a fall from a cliff is just stupid. Plenty of characters die in Disney movies, especially parents of the main characters, so don't tell me it's because this is for kids. The fact that Cragger believes that they have died and blames the lions and his lack of chi for their death actually gave him a good motivation to attack them and steal the chi and almost made him a good character, but then they ruined it by introducing his sister with her "evil flower" which becomes his true and only reason to be evil. Ugh! It's the Devourer's venom all over again. The environments and some of the battle scenes were pretty nice, but those couldn't save this from feeling like just an extended Lego commercial. Yes, I know that that's what these Lego shows basically are, but it has never been so obvious. At least Ninjago had a story and characters with personality. I might stick around for a few more episodes to see where this series is going, but I don't think I can take much more of this. One thing is for sure though: We need that Legend Beast Lion in a set!! Now if you'll excuse me, my face hurts from all these facepalms.

Thanks! Yeah, those TDKR shots are pretty good, but I would like them a lot better without the flash.
