  1. Jim was glad to see that the CIS cruisers that he had observed coming out of hyperspace were followed by some Venators. Shortly thereafter, someone called him on his comlink: "Come in, Commander Butcher! This is Jifel, fully trained and ready for action! Tee Bee is with me. How can we help?" "Jifel, you're just on time" said Jim. "I can use a little back up." "No problem!" said Jifel. "By the way, I just saw a Belbullab-22 starfighter leave one of the Seps' ships. You think it's..." "General Grievous? Yes, I'm quite sure." said Jim. "Do you have a tracking device you can launch at it?" "Yes" replied Jifel. "Then launch it and join my squadron." "Roger that, Jim" said Jifel and did as he was told. The device hit the starfighter perfectly, and Jifel, Tee Bee, and their squad of attack shuttles sided with Jim's Torrents. In that moment, another familiar voice spoke up on Jim's comlink: "I'm here too! Sorry it took so long." It was Wouwie. "Great to see you, Wouwie," said Jim, "Just follow us to the planet surface." And so, they all fought their way toward Raxus Prime... A few moments later, on the Fortitude, Oky's comlink beeped once again. He answered it and Jim told him: "Oky, Grievous has landed on the planet, and so have we." "Who is we?" asked Oky. "Jifel, Tee Bee, Wouwie, and me. We were able track Grievous' ship to a location a mile from where we are. I am sending you the coordinates now." Oky recieced them and said: "We are not far from you. We will be there in a minute!" "Good," said Jim, "Is Bob with you?" "Yes," replied Oky. "Great! Well, see you soon. Butcher over and out." And so, Oky gathered everyone and they took off in the Fortitude. A few minutes later, they landed next to Jim and the others' ships. They were all reunited again at last!
  2. You might be right about that, but then again, I don't think that I or anyone else, especially kids, is able to watch an entire movie without dialogue these days. It's one of the reasons why WALL-E wasn't as popular as it should have been. Therefore, I'm actually kinda glad that there is some dialogue. It adds to the story. On a side note: I'm curious to see if the origin of these Robo-dolls is explained in this movie. That's one of the things that puzzled me most about the short film. Apparently, there is some kind of holographic message from 9's creator, so I'm hopeful! Also, it's gonna be interesting to see a Tim Burton movie that is not a musical.
  3. Haha! Very good! I was thinking about making Adam & Jamie figs myself, but I just couldn't get together a good Adam. You should totally send that picture to them! I'm sure they'll love it, and who knows, maybe they'll even show it on the show!
  4. It's Slime Face imitating Inferno! Cool, no? Btw, still no prices for these?
  5. Are you kidding? That's excellent! That must be the same type of promotion that victor2000's shop is providing. I'll have to go check if my TRU has it too! Though I'm not sure if it's worth the money. Oh well, one can always sell it. Hm... if they start giving out Chrome s like that, perhaps he is the special S@H offer on May 3 & 4 after all...
  6. Oky, JD, Cardy, and the clones walked toward the spot where the lifeforms were, according to the scanner. They approached a pile of junk. Suddenly, the junk moved. Cardy quickly raised his blaster and shouted: "Hey! Come out and show yourselves, cowards!" The junk moved aside and out of it came... two scared jawas with their hands raised and saying: "Utinni!" Everyone gasped in relief. "At ease, Captain, it's just Jawas," said Oky Wan. "I'm guessing they were the ones who created this path to easily transport found parts to the landing platforms." "Yeah. Anyway, let's get to the ship," said JD. But in that moment, Oky Wan's comlink beeped. He answered, and heard Jim say: "Oky! A whole armada of Separatist ships just jumped out of hyperspace! The attack has begun!" "Already? Well, where are you?" "I'm in my starfighter and am on my way to... wait... I think I just saw General Grievous' starfighter leave one the capital ships... He is heading toward the Planet! I'll follow him and send you coordinates as soon as I know where he's going. Get to the Fortitude and get ready!" "Understood, Jim" Oky told him and turned to the others: "Come on, men! The battle has started! we need to get to the Fortitude now!" And so, they sprinted off. As they ran, Oky told Cardy: "Captain! Call the Fortitude and tell them to get ready to take off! And tell them to contact Wouwie, Jifel, Tee Bee, and Bob! I don't care where they are or what they are doing; we need them here, so tell 'em to get here as fast as they can and to bring as many reinforcements as possible!" "Yes, Sir!" replied Cardy and did as he was told. Soon, Garviel answered his call and received the message.
  7. Yes, I can confirm that: computerbug is a fanboy! As for me, I never actually save up for a set. I just see to it that I have enough money to spend on my hobby at all times, so when a set goes on sale, I'm good for it. And I usually don't buy sets for the MSRP, so I never spend all that much at a time anyway.
  8. Yeah. I just wish that Indy had that cool daredevil-smile in this set too. Oh well. Btw, is that the same torso print as in the TOD set?
  9. NO WAY!!! I would have never guessed that! Anyway, I agree with you and with all what you said. This thread needs a poll. otherwise it's almost useless.
  10. Oh. Well, I guess I misunderstood something that JD said... So, everyone is on Raxus Prime except Wouwie and Bob? Alright, then I will make a post based on that. Gotcha! Btw, I think that Garviel could be waiting in the Fortitude, hence the last sentence in my post. Hope that's OK.
  11. Oh boy, not that discussion again! No, that was a misunderstanding. As you can see, they are still producing purple. And yes, I too am loving the Cairo set! Such great minifigs and color-exclusive parts in one little set! An absolute Must-Buy, no matter what theme you are into!
  12. Hm... I think it was King Kahuka's Throne, but I'm not sure. It could have been a smaller set that I forgot. But the throne was definitely one of my first.
  13. This looks nice, but it's more of a display than a MOC, so I think it belongs in the Display/Army thread.
  14. Yeah, it really looks like the only thing suited for an adult fan of lego among these is the USB drive. I might get it, but probably not, as I already have two. Hm... I wonder if these are actually compatible with Lego so that you could incorporate them in mocs. Just imagine a train layout with the speakers built into a mountain or train station (so that the ugly colors are hidden), making various train/train station sounds! PS: Can a mod please rename this thread? The title is a bit unspecific.
  15. I voted for Griffindor Tower as well, because there are many details that could be built into it, as others have said. However, a headmasters office with a desk, bookshelves, shiny spinning devices, Fawkes, the sorting hat, that bowl where you put memories into (forgot the name now), etc. would great too!
  16. Way to show off your new fez pieces. Nice creation. It incorporates both classic and new town well. But aren't you prohibited to use new town elements in this contest? Keep up the good work, and please review Venice Chase ASAP!
  17. Oh, I must have missed that. I'll check it out right away. Well, what are you waiting for? Take 'em and post 'em!
  18. Really? I didn't know you were a machine! Thanks for reviving this thread. I kinda missed it. Btw, Did you ever decide on which large SW set to mod? The RGS or the AT-TE? Or did you give that project up all together?
  19. Cool. Sounds like a new version of Jedi Power Battles. I'm curious how it will turn out, especially since it's made for the next gen consoles and is therefore automatically made for a more mature audience, plus it will (hopefully) have nice graphics and gameplay. And yes, it would be cool if it were anything like TFU gameplay-wise. And I really hope that you can control other Jedi than just Skyguy & Snips. Mace Windu anyone?
  20. Seriously, dude, I'm getting tired of explaining this to you: The movies (the ones after T2: Judgment Day) and the series are different timelines and have therefore nothing to do with each other!
  21. You are talking about this one, right? Erm... What do you mean "destroy and rebuild it"? That sounds like you want to take it apart and then put it together again. If you are talking about using its parts to make a different kind of spider mech, you need to be more specific about what you want it to be if you want to hear suggestions. Do you want to make it bigger, more robust, better looking, or just different? Please explain.
  22. OK, so I read through all the pages that I missed, and this is what it looks like to me: Jim is on some marble-stone planet. He is carrying the fake holocron. Bob is on Nexus Oxus, and so are Jifel and Tee Bee (even though they are apparently returning to their Venators in orbit now). Wouwie is on Folitas, and I assume Commander Rex, his sidekick, is with him. JD, Oky, and Jaina are on Raxus Prime and are being... whatched. Adam has disappeared on a junkyard on Kothlis while his imitation is orbiting it. And Garviel... well... he always does his own thing anyway, so who cares where he is. Just kidding. Let's just say that he went with Jim after he rescued him and is now with him on the Venator over the stone planet. Together, we're trying to confuse the CIS and fight off their upcoming attack. That's about it, right? Please tell me if I'm wrong and if I missed something. Just making sure that I'm caught up before I start posting again.
  23. That's OK. I understand. But in that case, I would remove that pic again as it wouldn't make sense to be there in that context. Hm... Perhaps I'll make my own review after all... PS: Sorry to do KimT's job, but there's no need to quote a post that's right above yours.
  24. I bet that the two barrels at the front of the pirate tank are flick-fire missile which are launched by pushing that grey 1x2 wall piece behind it forward. The distance between the barrels and the wall piece is 3 studs; perfect for a flick-fire piece to fit in. Besides, there is nothing on that spot on the "real" pirate tank, so why else would it be there. There seem to be some more in the back, and the stickered panels behind the gunner obviously open up. Anyone agree? Also, the article mentions a pop-up drivers seat. Anyone know what they are talking about? I don't think it's the same seat as the gunner's since the minifig would never fit through the 2x2 hole. But perhaps it's not supposed to pop up with the minifig on it?
  25. You're welcome. But I was hoping you would add an in-depth comparison and maybe even reconsider your final judgment of the set instead of just copy+pasting my reference pic. But it's your review, and I don't want to tell you what to do. PS: Did I do anything wrong, KimT?
