  1. No idea what that stands for, but it sounds delicious. Maybe TLG figured: "Hey! If the vehicles are the weapons, we don't have to include them!" Well, as you said yourself, that's not really a plot hole, especially going by Coridoras' theory. Besides, I don't think the sets are canon, more like merchandise for the TV show, which is the only true canon, except for the books maybe.
  2. Because it has a big sign in the front that says so. Unless you're planning to remove the sign. Never mind, I forgot that there is already a bin for the combs/bows, and yeah, I don't think they would fit into the holes that the lipsticks are stuck in either.
  3. People? No, most certainly not. But they do each include a mini-doll. Why else would they be pictured on the box. (If you want proof, there are reviews of those sets here in this forum.) Well, it is a beauty shop, so the number of things that can be displayed in the window are limited. Maybe you could display some of the other accessories like the hairbrushes, combs, hairdryer, sunglasses, and bows. If you don't have those, you could make perfume bottles out of translucent cones, cylinders, and studs to display there. Yes, you should!
  4. Oh man... That would be just... Wow! Just imagine all the cool little extras it could come with! A bat-gear weapons rack, a small batcycle, some "toys" for the joker... And if it would include Marvel, it could have a little workstation for Iron Man, a hoverchair for Nick Fury/Professor X, a motorcycle for Wolverine, and maybe some mini-models of some of the most iconic vehicles like the Batmobile or the Quinjet! The possibilities are endless... But sadly, we're already getting three advent calendars this year, so there's no chance this will happen. But there's always next year!
  5. Yup, definitely Olivia! Nerds FTW! Besides, she reminds me of Hermione/Emma Watson.
  6. I wouldn't call it unexciting. Sure, the Batman sets are mostly just inferior rehashes, but some of the minifigs have greatly been improved upon, and it's just nice to have Bats back! And I'm still very, very, very excited about the Marvel sets! Bring on the pics already!! Yay! Batbrick Returns! Great timing indeed! I was hoping this theme would drive you out of hiding!
  7. Hm, I like the sound of these episodes. I was wondering when they would bust Boba Fett & Co. out of prison, and the idea of an undercover Kenobi intrigues me. But another 4-part story? Is it just me or are they drawing the stories out a bit too much now? Oh well, I guess it's better that they take their time rather than making stupid filler episodes like before. I really wonder how Kenobi is going to work together with Cad Bane without the bounty hunter recognizing him. What do you mean? It doesn't sound to me like he will have to suffer in this Prison Break arc, unless he drops the soap that is. Just because he's in a precarious situation doesn't mean he has to suffer, at least not as much as he did in the past few episodes where he literally got tortured. And Anakin learning about the mistreatment of his clones doesn't really qualify as suffering either.
  8. Ah, very good topic! With the Licensed forum being possibly my favorite forum on EB, this has been bugging me for a while as well, and now that we have an active Licensed Regulator again, this is the perfect time to address this issue! Nobody is removing Toy Story over my dead body! Nah, just kidding. I agree, putting it under the Disney umbrella makes sense. Your suggestion sounds good, but I'm afraid that names like "Disney" and "Nickelodeon" might be too broad. They might encourage people to post, say, an Aladdin or Hey Arnold MOC in the Licensed forum without it really fitting in there. Then again, it's probably better than listing each movie/show individually, at least for Disney. And I wouldn't be worried about PotC and LotR as the Pirates and Historic forums list them in their descriptions respectively. I know I do. I think a fair amount do, and those who don't will just have to do a little research I guess. After all, every Disney set has a large Disney logo on the box, including PoP. So, my suggestion is this: Avatar, Disney, Ferrari, Harry Potter, Indiana Jones, Speed Racer, Spongebob, Studios, Superheroes. I'm sure that if we do this, though, a lot of people will mistake "Avatar" for the James Cameron movies, but it would be too much to include "The Last Airbender".
  9. Oh, sorry. I didn't see it mentioned anywhere on here, so I thought I'd throw it out there. Well, all the 2012 will be available in Lego Stores starting in February, so that's when they should be out in other stores as well, but TRU might have them a week or two earlier as usual.
  10. Sure enough, the sets are now available for pre-order. Also, I spotted 30053 Venator at Target today, which I believe is a promo that was only available in the UK until now.
  11. No, it does not, although it's certainly a possibility, but that's a discussion for another thread.
  12. Neat! I really like that Batmobile! The Bat-Jetski could be better (or at least less colorful, just like everything in this theme) but it does seem like a nice way to get a black Batman. Thanks, whung!
  13. Wow, I love every single one of these! They are a great way to get all the "Friends" in a cheap way and each set comes with great pieces! I hope these will be widely available, because I want at least one of each! Thanks once again, whung!
  14. Indeed you should! Thanks for posting! This seems to be the first real Games promo since that golden die, and look, it has trolls and golden daggers! This is a must-have, even for non-Heroica fans. Added to first post.
  15. YES! This makes me very happy! I was afraid that Sebulba's mini pod from the Tatooine planet set would be left competitionless, but it looks like it wont be! Although it looks a bit bulky, Anakin's mini podracer looks much better than the first version! And that MTT, while looking a bit chubby, looks neat too and should make for a good parts pack! Thanks a lot, whung, and happy new year!
  16. What the heck is this? Aside from the sub-par editing, this is probably the worst possible angle to show your creation as it is impossible to see anything thanks to those cones in the foreground. Could you please provide some more views of your scene?
  17. Very good, Moodswim! I'm amazed at how much posability you managed to keep in such short arms and legs! Looks like the Imperials figured that you can only fight cuteness with cuteness.
  18. Yeah, but how do you expect anyone to get a joke based on a made-up name? Oh well, I'm sure his next funny will be, uhm, funnier. Hehehe, reminds me of The Penguin's Confederate Gym.
  19. Oky

    MOC Dark Knight

Not a particular "dark" knight, is it? Any explanation for the name? Other than that, it looks pretty cool. Is it supposed to be able to fly? Because if not, I'd remove the wings from the arms. Well done.
  20. Aw! I was expecting a miniland-scale Santa Yoda! But this is great too, perhaps even better considering how much better you are at vehicles! Those look all great, and as I said in the funnies thread, congratulations for completing your calendar! You had a lot more work to do than me; I just had to take pictures of minifigs and come up with funny captions for them, but you had to make an original MOC each day! I don't think I could ever do that, so hats off to you, Sir. Happy Holidays!
  21. No, we don't know yet. And to make this post a bit more worthwhile, here's a neat commercial for some of the new Batman sets: I'm loving that B:TAS-style score!
  22. You beat me to it. Maybe he could lay an egg.
  23. Hm, I see. But I don't think that trooper was ever officially named. Wookieepedia doesn't list him, and the wiki you linked to doesn't provide a source. Thanks! Congrats to you too, and make sure to catch up! There have been some good ones, and not just from me!
  24. Thanks for the review. This looks like a neat set and I'm somewhat tempted to buy it. The white in the eyes is actually quite common in themes like Star Wars and Toy Story. Olivia look pretty good with Harry's hair, but not vise-versa. Could you show us a picture of Hermione with Olivia's hair? It seems to me that it would look much better than the Castle Princess hair. Ha! Good point!
