Well, it's a Lego Game, so they will probably be microfigs, and they can't change the heads on those. I guess they'll have to get creative with the printing. As for the gameplay, maybe you have to go around the Tri-state Area to find Perry. Perhaps you have to build small contraptions in order to proceed.

Since Ilrion is pretty much confirmed, I guess this means that Elsbuck, Seldaan and Barresh will be released too. The site also mentions a Phineas And Ferb game, and one called Maya Mystica.
-
In light of the recent news, I think it's time to start this topic. The confirmed sets for this year are: 3863 Kokoriko 3864 Mini-taurus 3865 City Alarm 3866 Star Wars: The Battle Of Hothâ„¢ 3867 Maya Mystica 3868 Phineas And Ferb 3874 Heroica Ilrion There are also rumored to be three other Heroica sets: Elsbuck, Seldaan and Barresh. These locations are listed and described along with Ilrion on the Heroica map. Discuss! EDIT: Oops! Looks like I already created a topic like this a long time ago. I looked for it, but couldn't find it in the index or any of the recent pages, so I thought I was mistaken, but I wasn't. Sorry, please close this.

Actually, it was a line of four sets, and Diagon Alley was that last big set. Are you referring to a contest or something? If so, that's quite a off-topic post. I think they already are on discount.

Ooh, how exciting! Thanks for this news! I love P&F, and anything from that show in Lego is welcome! Of course I'd prefer minifigs, but microfigs will be fun to have too. Don't get his hopes up. Just because there's a game doesn't necessarily mean there will be System sets. Let's hope, though, that this goes the way of Harry Potter where we get a boardgame first, and then a multitude of sets and videogames afterwards! And yes, they would obviously have molded heads, just like the Toy Story and Spongebob figs. There is NO WAY to recreate Phineas' triangle head with a normal minifig head. Hey, where's Perry?
-
Actually, I wouldn't mind if the sets get discounted. There are still some that I need to get, such as the Knight Bus, so hopefully there will be a nice sale. Traitor!
-
I received my January Catalog as well, and it says that all the new sets will be available for pre-order on Jan 1 and will ship Jan 30. Also, they have a pre-order offer where you get a free poster with a trench run scene on the front and pics of all the minifigs from this wave on the back.

You do know that the same joke was posted only less than two pages ago, right? I know what it's referencing, but I don't get it. Is that trooper's name Hammer or something? Hehe, nice. Can't wait to get a pissed-off Kenobi myself.

What's on the newspaper in the Super Heroes Catwoman set?
Oky replied to blackpyre's topic in LEGO Licensed
I had a feeling the story on the newspaper was lame from the headline, but I had no idea that it would be this lame! And grammar and spelling were never TLG's strong suit. Those Danes really need to take some English classes. I guess the generic-ness of the newspaper's name and frontpage story make it usable in other themes, but wouldn't it have been much more awesome to get a Gotham Gazette/Globe with a story about Batman foiling the Joker's latest scheme? Oh well. Thanks for this bit of info. I'll try to get a good close-up pic of the newspaper once I get the set. -
Yeah, let's face it: LOTR is taking over as the major (fantasy) licensed theme next to Star Wars this year. Farewell, Lego Harry Potter, probably for good this time.
-
Thank you! Indeed it was, but it wasn't my idea originally. Of course not! That SBD is just throwing his arm up in joy of being the leader of the conga.
-
Surprise! Since you've all been so good this year, here's another one! General Grievous had no idea that droids can in fact get drunk when he held his Christmas party.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 4 Discussion
Oky replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Yeah, that too, but that's not what I meant. They're using four of the most lame/annoying characters from the show to advertise their marathon. -
Aw, Pengy, you shouldn't have! Thank you so much for this nice Christmas surprise! I hope these are not the prizes of the winners who failed to send their addresses to you? I am flattered that you chose my entry to receive one of these surprise prizes as I think that many entries were better than mine and I agree that all entrants deserve a prize for their great work. I hope I get the Penguin keychain so that I can kiss you include you in my funnies and MOCs! Merry Christmass!

Sorry for posting this so late; I was totally busy until now. But now it's here: the final day of my Star Wars funnies advent calendar! Day 24: It's Christmas Eve, and Santa Yoda is giving out colorful 1x2 tiles to every good boy and girl in the galaxy! Tiles for everyone! Yay! Merry Xmas, everyone!
-
Thanks, but I didn't do much on the tree. Except for the lightsabers, the red clips, and the brown cone, it's exactly the same as it came in the calendar.

Very nice Christmas scene, Walt! I too love the humor in this! Happy Holidays!

[LDD MOCs] Brickdoctor's 2011 Star Wars Advent Calendar
Oky replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Not bad, but you forgot to color the pins again. And I think that these pieces would have been better instead of the 2x2 tiles in the front. -
I'd gladly take their prizes if they don't want them. Chill out, Penguin, they're probably on vacation for the holidays.

[LDD MOCs] Brickdoctor's 2011 Star Wars Advent Calendar
Oky replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
At last you finished it! Well, sort of, but it was definitely worth the wait! It sure is way better than the official Midi-Falcon. The front looks great, and while a bit gappy, the rest doesn't look too shabby either. Great work as usual; much better than anything I could ever do in LDD. -

Riddle me this: When is a review not a review? Answer: When you can't "view" anything because of the blurriness of the pictures. Nah, just kidding. It's not a bad review, it just needs some work. I too encourage you to join the Reviewers Academy to learn how to make better reviews! Oh, and thanks for making the rest of the pics larger than the first. Really? I would have been surprised if they weren't. If there's a lazy way to do things, TLG will usually take it, and that includes putting the same head twice into a set. Yeah, that doesn't seem very threatening, does it? Well, at least it will ruin Robin's carefully combed hair, so that's still pretty evil.

Sounds to me like people here are too prejudiced against pigs. Seriously, if you would have never seen or heard of the Joker and saw a teaser image of him, you'd probably think "What? Batman is gonna fight a clown?! How lame and weird!" My point: You never know, Pyg could turn out to be a very formidable foe. I for one am not gonna write off a character who I have only seen a blurry picture of. Sorry. I only took a quick look on your brickshelf, and most pics of your customs were uploaded in August 2009. I thought those were confirmed to be Katana and Alfred?

Is this the "little surprise" that you spoke of in the Batman Contest thread? In that case, as you said, that's indeed not much of a surprise at all for EB regulars. I do wonder what Category B will be like this time though. The movie scene idea was pretty good and would actually work very well with this series. As the Disco Dude would say: I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it!
