For those who can't view the video, or want a high quality image, here are most of the prototypes shown at MineCon. The only things missing in this photo are the spiders. This looks like fun!

They look nice. From what I can see, the spider looks spot on to the one in the game, and the proportions are great with Steve. The cow also looks true to the game as well. Steve looks quite the same as the one in the video (hard to see, near the Creepers), and I hope the sword has a cool mold.

The LEGO Movie Sets News and Discussion
Perry the Platypus replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Considering I have not posted here in a while, I figured I'd give my thoughts so far of The LEGO Movie! I am indeed looking forward to the movie and the sets! Everything looks so fun and all over the place, and not to mention hilarious. Lord/President Business's name, as well as his funky headdress and boots, add to the humor of the character. Emmet is a sad excuse for a hero, but at the same time he is just awesome. Uni-Kitty is adorable, but I am wondering what this "powerful secret" of hers could be. Wyldstyle looks badass, and her hair and zipper/hood piece is an instant win. Vitruvius looks nice, I really like the staff and his beard. AND MORGAN FREEMAN FTW. Also cool to see LEGO joking about the dual face with the Good/Bad Cop. Now onto the sets. The lair seems to have everything you could need for a huge battle scene. Lord Business is the highlight of the set for me, as well as the "Where are my Pants?" thing with Biznis Kitty. Those two cops make up for the lack of a Wyldstyle, IMO. The Super Cycle Chase is a pass for me. It seems to be too bland of a design. However, LOVE that Cuckoo Palace set! It's funny and colorful at the same time, and seems to be a great parts pack. Overall, I am excited to see what the movie and the theme will offer us.- 2,626 replies

This is super exciting. It seems more people will buy this than the micro sets. I bought the micro sets, but these really will cater to my LEGO Minecraft needs. Also, I suggest this be moved to the Licensed Themes forum.

I really do like these sets. The building style on the Ghasts look great. Having just received the original Minecraft set today. I am looking forward to getting my hands on these. -

Legends of Chima - Which faction are you?
Perry the Platypus replied to pedro's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I love the look of the Eagles. Plus, the vehicles are amazing, and Eris is my favorite Chima character. I'm with the Eagles all the way. -
Legends of Chima 2013
Perry the Platypus replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Yes, a Speedorz set with Eris! Eris is my favorite character. I also love that we are getting bears, rhinos, and skunks. Move over, Ninjago; Chima is my new favorite theme! -
Legends of Chima 2013
Perry the Platypus replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Most certainly, I will play Legends of Chima Online. Sounds like fun. I hope it is similar to LEGO Universe. On an unrelated note, could anybody who own the new US LEGO Club Magazine provide scans of the comic and poster, and maybe the cover? I have not received mine yet, and I would really like to see. -
Kai's Fire Mech is pretty cool. Garmatron is the best set of the wave, IMO. General Kozu is worth the price of $40 USD alone! Yeah, probably. It would take some serious modding to make the a figure fall into the jail, though, as it is not exactly directly under the controls. As for the cannon, I am lost on how to do that.

Legends of Chima 2013
Perry the Platypus replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I think we might put them out on the first. I haven't asked anyone I work with, and I hardly go in the back room! I will ask on Wednesday. I am gonna see if I am able to take some sets home to build. -
No, though that would be an awesome feature! Yes, the cell can fit two minifigures. There is no back wall, though; just the inside mechanics of the Garmatron model.

Legends of Chima 2013
Perry the Platypus replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
No Chima sets at the LEGO Store I work at in Massachusetts. However, I was assigned to take home Ninjago Garmatron and build it, so at least I got something out of my work day! I really want Ultimate Speedor Tournament... -
Finally! Garmatron was shipped to the LEGO Store today! I was assigned to take it home and build it for display. It is an amazing set! The green knob on the back can be pressed to shoot the cannon. All three minifigures are very detailed, especially Kozu. The treads work very well. Sorry, no photos. I need a better camera. However, you are welcome to ask me any questions about the set.

Legends of Chima 2013
Perry the Platypus replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Crawley and Crug seem to me like funny characters, eh? They sound to me a bit like Kruncha and Nuckal from the Ninjago series. Also, can anyone tell if the blue gorilla is a boy or a girl? I am assuming it is Gorzan, who will appear in the summer sets. Sorry, do not know how to do that type of stuff. Someone else may, though! -

REVIEW: 70003 Eris' Eagle Interceptor
Perry the Platypus replied to WhiteFang's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Even though I love the Interceptor itself, the Eris minifigure is what is selling me this. I think she is so adorable as an eagle warrior girl. Thanks for the wonderful review! I plan to be getting this set soon, after picking up Ultimate Speedor Tournament.- 34 replies
