  1. Actually, I'm not sure this should go in this topic, as it isn't a brick request, but I think they should move the 1x2x1 panels back into the category that uses the picture of the 1x2x1 panel.
  2. This is pure fantasy as it only appears in four sets between 2003 and 2007, but I need 46453 for a LDD MOC I've built, and it would be super-neat if it were in there. Also Nthing the "More flex tubes". Makes me crazy sometimes. And the minifig hair. Anikin's and Harry's specifically. I also wish the wrist-hole were the proper depth on the Cyborg arm from the Agents sets, but I think I just strayed into nit-pick territory.
  3. Messing around with your file, Superkalle, I can almost get the door closed, and then copy/paste it that way to other appropriate spots. I think I'll leave it alone, though. Think of it as, uh, showing off the interior? Even though you can't actually see most of it in the picture. Yeah.
  4. One more, and I'm out of stuff I've already built. 6941 Battrax Theme: Blacktron LDD File Errors: - Prints missing (except classic face!), substitutions made on figure and controls, all others left blank. - 4730 Modified Brick 2x2 with Pin and No Axle Hole unavailable, substituted 6232 Modified Brick 2x2 with Pin and Axle Hole. - 4864a Panel 1x2x2 with Solid Studs unavailable, substituted with 4864b Panel 1x2x2 with Hollow Studs. - I'm sure the hose is wrong, but Peeron and Bricklink's numbers aren't matching up with what's listed on LDD's info bar, so I don't know for sure. - The biggest error is that part 2337 Windscreen 4x4x2 Canopy Extender is unavailable, it is replaced here with an inelegant brick-built mock-up that doesn't connect to the front windscreen.
  5. 8971 Aerial Defense Unit - Theme: Agents 2.0 LDD File Errors: -Missing a few prints and all decals, some substitutions made. -Pair of 1x4 plates with 2 1x2 grills wouldn't fit on the sides because of a boundary error with the 4x6 plate above it. These are hovering near where they are supposed to be placed.Fixed by zinfinion! -Rear upper x224 Dark Blue Windscreen 8x6x2 Curved can't be placed correctly due to a boundary error with the pair of 61678 Curved Slopes 4x1 underneath it. The part is placed 1 stud behind where it is supposed to sit. - Strings and rubber band can't be connected, so they are laying near where they go, and place the backpacks on Charge and Chase. -Possibly the most frustrating error, the doors won't close. There appears to be a boundary error with the 3749 Technic Axle Pins beneath them. After the headache of getting the rotor assembly to line up, I opted to just leave the doors open.
  6. I've updated the Agents set with Calabar's super additions. And I have another that I didn't see in the index. 8960 Power Miners: Thunder Driller LDD File Errors: -Missing prints and stickers, I didn't make substitutions this time. (I think that's it, actually, let me know if I missed something else.)
  7. Oops, I knew about the missing bricks and forgot to add them in the error list. Sorry about that. How did you get them to stay in there? I tried for a bit, but had no luck. Also, I tried 4 72504s, but I used pins, so it didn't work. Never thought to use an axle. Thank you for the updated version, now I can re-add the modifications I made to it and place it back into my diorama file. Edit: Whoa, I got a yellow brick there under my stats. Thanks!
  8. Aside: Superkalle, that link doesn't seem to work for me, what's behind it? This is the updated file with substitutions by Calabar! 8637 - Agents: Mission 8: Volcano Base LDD File - Direct Link Errors: - Missing Prints and Stickers, substitutions made on minifigures, - Parts 78c07 Metallic Silver Hose, Ribbed 7mm D. 7L / 5.6cm (x2) unavailable, unable to find suitable replacement or a way to fake it, these parts were omitted. Calabar found a workaround for the substitutions. - Part 78c11 Metallic Silver Hose, Ribbed 7mm D. 11L does not flex. Longer flex tube actually flexes, original part set aside behind model. - Parts 75c25 Dark Blue Hose, Rigid 3mm D. 25L / 20.0cm (x2) do not flex. Calabar also found a neat workaround for this! - Marbled pattern for Parts 47847pb02U Trans-Neon Orange Rock Panel 2 x 4 x 6 with Marbled Dark Bluish Gray (x2) unavailable, so I left them trans-neon orange.
  9. Thanks guys, you've helped me find 17 bricks that have been missing out of a table-sized model since the update to 4. I thought it was bricks that were removed from the palette, but it turns out it was just collision errors with hinges and builds that wouldn't stick.
  10. Where is the "UnplaceableBricksDump.lxfml" file located? I've never seen it before.
  11. Maybe Twitch's antenna? http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=90192
  12. A lot of your first-post design work reminds me of Transformers: Animated. It's mechanical, yet chunky and with a lot of pleasing curves that do not detract from the implied metallic nature of the subjects. Those second-page character illustrations really blew me away, though!
  13. This is awesome! I'm a huge fan of the first two Mad Max films, and am going to have to give building this a shot. Maybe I'll park a Gyrocopter behind it, and clip a snake to its rotor mast.
  14. Is it bad that I forgot about this topic, even though it was the thing that finally tipped the scales to make me go from lurking to a registered poster? I guess what I'm trying to say is: I too would like to know what ever became of this project!
  15. I haven't got any experience with the microfigs, are their heads the same width as a 1x1 round brick?
  16. I remember reading this when it was first posted, and being wowed by it. I still am! It is an impressive building with a ton of detail and play features. I copied the arcade machine from this MOC, built it in Sand Blue instead of dark red, and installed it into a Inferno Villains base I've been working on. I meant it as a huge nod to the building inspiration I got from reading this thread.
  17. Hi, all. I build a TON of stuff in LDD, and figured this might be a good place to show it off. I joined a few days back just to post some LDD rocks. Anyway, thought I'd put out a simple build that was inspired by a member of this very forum a couple of years back. A little backstory: I build a lot of Agents stuff. I know, I know, it's not a popular theme, but I get a kick out of it. It reminds me of a cross between James Bond and G.I. Joe. Anyway, a long time ago, I saw a post here by a user named Skorpius47 about MOCs and Mods he had made, and he briefly showcased a three-wheeled attack bike built in LDD. I thought I'd try my hand at virtually building it, and it rapidly mutated into being the villain BreakJaw's personal vehicle. By the time I was done, it looked a little something like this: The LDD file for it can be found here! Then I got an idea; Since I only use real, existing bricks, I might as well build it for reals. Slap a few stickers on it and, viola: I built a lot more stuff like that, and I may get around to posting it, but for now, this fast and fun vehicle will do! And if you see this Skorpius47 (or someone who knows him and could direct him to it), I just want to give you huge credit for the inspiration, and thanks for inadvertently helping me get into LDD MOCing the heck out of this theme.
  18. Echoing the brick separator sentiment. I never used one until my son got one with his first tub, and now I don't know how I got along without it.
  19. I used to drink a glass of scotch while sorting every Friday and Saturday night for a long time. Then I got my collection of parts sorted, and now I just drink. It's not the same, though.
  20. Wow, that's fantastic! I love the shape of the front end.
  21. I mostly build vehicles, not structures, so I find a lot of my inspiration from movies, video games, and comic books. On the whole, though, I find the best source of inspiration can be looking at what other builders can come up with! Fire up google, search random images, look through flickr, moc pages, brickshelf, and this very forum. If you find you just can't get inspired, back off for a bit. Draw a picture, take a walk, read a book. Forcing inspiration can be just as frustrating as not having it to begin with. Above all, remember not to get so distressed about it that you aren't having fun anymore, since that's the whole point.
  22. I was just thinking it would be funny if the lady with the spear were a minifig too.
  23. Does Claire have the pinup on the back of her vest?
  24. I once read that dust is mostly made up of dead skin cells, so I store my finished models where there aren't any people! They're on a shelf set at my parent's house in a room no one goes in anymore. Sadly, my magnificent plan did not work, and after blowing everything off with canned air, I now keep a sheet over the shelf set. When I get some more space of my own, I'm sure I'll have to figure something else out.
  25. I think I remember these sets from when I was younger. Didn't the trash compacter have a ton of orange foam in it? I think I had three of these that were Cloud City, actually. I'm pretty sure I broke the "Luke flies out the window" launcher and my mom chucked 'em, though. I could be thinking of something else. Anyway, the point I'm trying to make is: These are fantastic!
