  1. The plastic container which is shown few posts up has a sealing and it should be almost impossible for any insect to get into the box.
  2. Wow, that looks fantastic already
  3. The gingerbread thief is a another great minifigure. The dark orange cookie and dark blue are great complementary colors and you make good use of the superhero head. And that mouse is just so sweet!
  4. I voted for the 2023 bluecoat because of its detailed torso. Although i'd prefer the uniform without aiguilette and the minifig wearing a printed shako. Unprinted shakos are a massive downgrade imo. Then i voted yellow because i love the yellow Spanish Dragoons. On an other day i might have voted for black with the Black Brunswickers in mind.
  5. Do you like the addition of an aiguillette to the soldier's uniforms in the 2023 Eldorado Fortress set? We would like to ask you which general design of Imperial Soldiers you like the most. Is it the classic one from 1989 and the 90s or one of the newer iterations? The second question was raised by @Mazin He asks which color you would like to see for Imperial Soldiers? Is it a Blackcoat, a Greencoat, or something else? Take a look at these fine Imperial Soldiers and cast your votes: 1989 1992 2009 2011 2015 2023
  6. Nice, that's what i thought Good luck with the project!
  7. The poll ends tomorrow and the POBB ship has quite an comfortable lead! I did not expect it being so far ahead of the pack. There can only be one solution, build the fortress bigger! (imagine this is a governor smilie haha)
  8. What a fantastic and well thought-out set! The classic yellow castle was before my time but i really like your updated yellow castle lookout with the modern parts and techniques. Is the yellow wall between the stairs and the bookshelf 2 bricks wide?
  9. Yeah, one would think that somebody on the internet would have guessed it correctly already. But was the hint 'human' or 'humanoid'? Because humanoid means basically that there are 2 arms, 2 legs, a body and a head. Could be even a droid.
  10. Welcome to the party @Ozorion
  11. I bought my Lego in the past 5 years and so far not a single piece broke.
  12. I feel with the chili testers Another great moc and story! I love the diversity of trades and traits of the various commercial missions and trade organizations. The mechanical calculator is a nice detail. I also like the pipe smoking guard.
  13. Sorry if this is off topic but it is interesting. The difference between patents and 3D trademarks is very important. That also must be one of the reasons why Lego keeps pumping out new parts year after year. Patents expire, but if they can get a patent for a new part, their competitors can not copy and use it for 20 years (or whatever the number is). And even if this patents are not applicable in China, the import of sets into the EU which contain a single one of these parts, even if it is an original design, is illegal.
  14. The patent(s) expired but the minfigure is protected as a 3D trademark in Europe and this protection probably lasts forever (unless something big happens like bankruptcy).
  15. Very nice moc! I like how you build the watertower and that we can see the technique you used for the curvature. The Three Investigators were/are very popular in Germany. I still sometimes listen to one of the classic audioplayes when i work on the computer or build with Lego. Although i only know the classic audioplays, not the "kids" ones.
  16. Have to quote myself here from an earlier post in this thread:
  17. There are some nice minifigs fur sure, but none of them is a must-have for me so i can play the waiting game. But i don't know what i'll do if there will be a highly desirable minifig in a future series You are right, i didn't think about that. A number like you suggest would do the trick It could be printed small on the backside, so it does not spoil people who like the surprise.
  18. Maybe i am wrong, but i think with paper bags it would be impossible to feel which minfig is inside unless there is a big distinctive part inside. The paper would be much thicker than the plastic foil and more stiff. I will try it with the next magazine paper bag i'll get in my hands. I am not a gambling addict and i just wish Lego would have an artwork that would suggest which minfig is inside the bag, like with every other product. I have not bought a minifig from the latest Marvel series and i don't plan to get any from the upcomming CMF.
  19. That's exactly what i am hoping too!
  20. Nice to meet you Reuben Welcome to the forum!
  21. I actually think the Crimson Firehawk looks good for a 4+ set. The market stall side builds look fine too. But the price is pure insanity. In a parallel universe this sets costs 20€ and not 53€
  22. Artillery, grenades, but not Coca Cola bottles Fun little comic, thanks for sharing!
  23. The Crimson Firehawk also leaked.
  24. 100 were guessed and all were wrong? Then it must be some really obscure character?!
