    I am no collector. I would build the sets once and then use the parts for mocs. I would never pay the insane prices and none of my € will find its way into the pockets of resellers. I missed out on many of the sets and themes i like. It's okay, i move on. Maybe a miracle happens and Lego releases some LOTR or POTC playsets some day in the future, like they did with Indiana Jones this year. Fingers crossed!

    For me the golden age of Lego is now, where we have the most parts and colors available! Set-wise i would pick the years between 2008 and 2013, when there were Indiana Jones, Pirates of the Caribbean and Lord of the Rings on the shelves. Unfortunately i was in my dark ages back then

    For me the golden age is today, where we have the most parts and colors! As for cracking parts. I remember as a kid we had a lot of cracked clips. For example the ones from the saddles. But maybe that was because of intensive and rough play. Also the handles from shields would sometimes break. Nowadays i handle all parts with much more care

    Okay, guess i found him! I simply cut the last parts from the image adress, so i get only the image. I think the adress must directly link to the image (so the adress ends with .jpg or .png for example).

    A great story and a fine build! I like the crooked roof. Which color is that? Coral? The lights really add to the atmosphere, especially in the large tub, where the juice/liquor is made.

    The worst issue i had was a twisted switch from the city freight train i bought 2019. It was impossible to somehow get it straight. And just yesterday i noticed some color incosistencies between parts of dark red. But i must say, i don't mind color incosistency much. Just out of curiosity, please let me ask why is that the golden era? I was a kid back then, playing with Lego, but i would not call it the golden era.

    So apparently there will be a jungle exploration subtheme of city and friends comming in summer 2024. Might bring us some trees, plants or animals that are useful in a pirate settings.

    Unfortunately the Space CMF series turns out exactly like i expected it to be: some kind of city-space-mishmash. Quite a bit disappointing. The alian tourist is fun though.

    It's a good set and the pilot, astromech and Morgan look great! The upgraded Baylan looks much better! Is it possible to for him to wear an cape under the shoulder pads? But the worst part of the set is Shin's face print. She looks so much older than in reality.

    Hehe yes. As kids we would line up our minifigs and then try to shoot them with the cannons. The battle was won when you knocked down all "enemy" minfigs
