Hi there, been awhile since I posted, but here's a bit of a modular building..wip. As the title states, right! From left to right, random gray imposing building, havent thought about what it is yet, the white and blue will be a police station, I need to fill most of these in, obviously, the alley isn't done, the restaraunt is your standard tribute to the pizza place set back in the 90's with some apartments above it, the last building is a coffee shop/ apartment, for the coffee shop guy, he loves his work. My wife's sig fig can also be seen with the red cup out front. Cheers, thanks for taking a look, any feed back would be great.

What is purist? Thoughts...
Lothos replied to Batbrick(Nightwing)'s topic in General LEGO Discussion
Well. If you're building with plastic blocks, and one plastic block says "lego" And another isn't made by lego, but works with lego, chances are the one with the "lego" print on the brick isn't from a customizer. I think you're trying to make a big deal out of nothing, Bricks arms, warriors, etc, not lego. Sure, it's used with plastic, sure it works with lego, but it's not made by lego. Therefore, no longer "pure" in that sense. Does it matter? Probably not. Some people choose to use them, some don't. I don't see why it's a big deal. -
Not a bad Idea, thanks.

I wouldnt mind some sets based off of YJ myself, Superboy and his cycle, Miss Martian and her ship, maybe Nightwing and Impulse, Nightwing w/ Motorcycle. I dunno, throw in a bad guy or two and it'd be pretty spiffy.

Just a "Why not" build. Not a fan of the blue myself, but I like everything else, might change it to solid black. Thanks for looking.

Journey, the situation so far. Day 227: So, last time this thing worked, I was told that I'm in the future, turns out, I am. I got over it, I went to a camp full of soldiers, of all varieties, even some cops. We traveled north from there, to Flagstaff, the so called Green Zone. When we got there, it was bad, really really bad. People were being gunned down as we approached the wall that surrounded the city. We turned the truck around, there was only 4 of us at the time, and headed toward Phoenix. Phoenix was a nightmare, the truck was almost out of gas, and the solar charger was shot. We stashed my bike somewhere safe and moved on. Zombies, literal zombies roamed the streets. Thats when we met up with more of the guys in blue. Two of them in fact. One was a heavy weapons nut, he called himself Moose, the other was a pilot without a plane. He just went by Merrick. We traveled through phoenix, gunning down what we could, and running most of the time. We bumped into Sam there, Sam's a hacker. And in a world where computers are practically non existant, he sort of seemed out of place. Until he told us about the Satelite relay system he had been able to use. Turns out it was one of the former USA's. He was using it to use a program called "Google maps". It helped us fine storehouses, and finally a motherload. An underground facility that had enough ammo and food to last until whenever. Then the megablocks from the Green zone showed up. We fought them off as best we could, in the end we all made it out of there. We were five. We traveled all over Arizona, hitting Yuma, where a military base was, most of it was picked clean, we contined down toward the border and stopped when we saw our latest additions. An old man, and 3 cops. Well, 3 former cops. Some of them were in riot gear, one had a brown hood and cloak on, he was acting as the groups scout. His name was Alan, the other the mechanic, named Ransom, simply smiled when we approached. An older man was with them, he didn't talk much, bu this son was looking after him, the last cop, Nathan. Travel onward toward Mexico, we found what looked like a transporter. Some sort of heavy vehicle designed to make it over rough terrain, but not provide alot of cover for other occupants. We had it running in a month. We headed east. We came to Dallas first, in Dallas we met up with some other survivors, they were trying to make it on their own in a little community. The old timer turned out to know alot about farming and helped the best he could, I patched up who I could, and the cops and soldiers did some scavnging, Merrick did some research on the area one of the last libraries we had seen and brought back books, maps and hard drives. Most of it was garbage, but a bit of it wasn't. Turns out Dallas was working on a renewable powersource called a fusion battery, it had been shipped to Colorado for finalization. The batter could power the community, and we could set up residence here, if we retreaved it for them, not that we couldn't anyway. My skills as a Dr, and the guns we brough assured a spot. One way or another. The Colorado facility was invested with genetic mutants. I saw was because I mean was. The soldiers didn't waste any time. During the fighting my friend, the man that found me, 56780 was hurt. I had to remove his arm. Luckily for us, there was a suitable replacement...At least once we bult it. I kept him alive for the week we need to build it. When we were done his new arm was attached and he was right as rain. Ish. Anyway, I guess it jerks a bit. So he's learning how to be left handed. We're headed back to Dallas now, we're worried though. We've tried reaching them via radio, but so far, no good. I can say this much though, if our people are in trouble, the people who put them there, better pray we never find them. Dr. Drake, signing off. Hope. Life. Fight. The current conversation is over heard, as Myles forgot to press the off button. "So whats next Drake?" 56780 asked, the noise of the truck/transport could be heard. "We find out what's going on in Dallas." Myles said. "What if it's bad?" Merrick asked. "When we make whoever's done this pay. Damn it, I left the recorder on again, I don't want this thing to run dry aga-"

Kinda bummed honestly. I was hoping for more of a space meets city, where all of space is wrapped up into one neat little society.

I saw the "Chemist" shop and immediatly though, clearly this is where all the cheesey 60's bat villians must have gone to get their crazy dust..potion things. Joking aside, the buildings look great.

Will do! Sorry about that!

"Shipping Wars" Dan Brown's brick museum was a repeat episode, one of the shippers had to deliver a Lego dragon and something else for the band downstairs.

Stranger: Well howdy there pard, you alright? Dr. Drake: I-I guess so? At this point Myles began checking himself for holes or other harm. Stranger: Pretty sure I didn't wing ya, I was aimin' for this hear knuckle dragger. The stranger pointed at the man on the ground, two holes in his head, one for each eye. Stranger: Ya'll can come out, I ain't gonna shoot you any time soon, unless you're crazy, and wanna eatme. Maybe just the crazy bit cause that other bit goes with the crazy automatically, and well I'd rather not bother gettin' attached an' all. Dr. Drake: Who the hell are you? Stranger: To the point, good idear, well M'name isn't that much on my mind, got me a number though, 56780, now I ain't no damn prisoner, I was in the military. Dr Drake: Sure..not a prisoner, last time I checked the militaty still let you keep your name. 56780: Well son, when was the last time you checked? Dr Drake: ...Uhh.. well.. 56780: Thought as much. Son what year is it? Dr Drake: Don't be crazy it's 2018. Well counting the time we were all under ground, 2025, best guess. 56780: Oh lord. I really wish I wasn't the one to have ta..Look ya like beer? Cause I got beer back at my cabin. Little place got some woods surrounding me. Part of the "Let it grow zone." Dr Drake: ..Tell me what. What year is it? 56780:Balls, you freezer folks always.. right it's 2125. Damn it. I hate it when they faint.

The following is a narrative in the mind of Dr. Drake: The engine revved one last time, and it came up and almost over the box car, within seconds, chaos erupted, the two men on the ground beat feet, I made a jump for behind my side car, at least then I could probably reach my cross bow, little good it would do, but it beats standing in the open like a moron with nothing but a jacket. The truck, I guess I'll call it that, came up, stopped and a man leaped out, rolling across the hood, grabbing part of the grill, swinging around, and fired off two shots before I even knew what happened. When I peaked my head over the end of the sidecar, the highwayman was dead, and the man doing the killing sat atop the boxcar, looking for something. Not sure what.

^kinda glad about that. The thing that urks me about the batman nolan movies is the consistency with Gotham. They made such a big deal about the damn train in the first one, and then it just sort of phased out. or they just decided to scrap the whole thing after the first movie, regardless, it just bums me out that Gotham changes so damn much and it hardly looks the same from movie to movie.

I really hope this doesn't suck. Anyone else hear some smart megablocks comment about the world's deadliest catch while the trailer was happening? Also, think we'll hear "Son of Jor-el kneel before zod"? cause..ya can't have General Zod without that line.

A view of the always evolving living room, the fireplace needs work, the whole side room does, but I slapped it together in a bit of a rush. Wife and I were already late to something or another. Also, I hate spiral stair cases. Just an over all looky here shot. A bit of a look at the batcomputer and bits of the cave, It just looks bad.

Will do! Sorry about the image size!

Aquaman deserves a set of his own.

Hey desks are a time..yeah it's a desk. Tape recorder's in his side car :D The trench coat came from a guy in Australia. And thanks for taking a look, I plan on doing more, I'm just trying to make the third part, as it were, fit. I've had the story mapped out on paper for awhile, I just need to make the creation match with the storyline. But thanks for taking a look and enjoying what you see.
