Lothos's Prediction about tdkr. 1. bane is a terrorist, possible trained by the league. the voice over of Ras just sort of hints that they might pop back up. 2. The tumbler we've seen in previews could be 1 of 2 things. 1. Since wayne industries did make them, they could have easily sold a couple before money bags got a hold of it. 2. They rip it off from Wayne in his super secret r n d. 3. Think of the Miller batman comic, apply that time period, remove the robin/joker/yates story line. Apply the fact that Bruce is almost 40, he's been in exile for 8 years, Gordon and him probably pall around. 4. The batwing will probably be one of the many things that Bruce has been working on for said 8 years. Also I hope to god we see a bat cave rather then a bat bunker. 5. Catwoman will probably be a thief like everyone in the world has stated already, but probably in cahoots with the league, if they are in fact back. Probably wrong on all fronts, but hey speculation is the best part of waiting for a new movie to come out. I for one will be there at a midnight showing, with batman hoodie. One last bugaboo. When I started to make the connection that movies will never be as good as the book, there are a few exceptions, movies will never be as good as the comic version. Ever. Nolan's pretty s-m-r-t though. He's taking bits and pieces from- The long halloween, dark victory, the dark knight returns, Year one (No matter what people say, the first nolan bat flick had alot of year one in it). It's not a bad idea, that's for sure, but these movies are made for mass populace. They always will be, look at the first three spiderman flicks. Terrible, utter garbage, but people were all sorts of WOOOOOOOOOO about it. Comic books translated on screen? I can think of one book that did it well, and that was "Year one." Granted they didn't really get creative about it, but they did hit the nail on the head as far as the story and pacing went. Apologies this comes from a cranky old man who's read comics for most of his life. I don't expect to see a comic book on the big screen anytime soon. Sin city was pretty close too, forgot about that.

Back when I was a member of the metal legion on Moc pages, I had a pretty big moc/diorama base built for the Arizona regulators. I put it in the spare bed room to make sure that it wouldn't be messed with or broken or whatever.I was planning on photographing it. So I could set the scene up and all that jazz. My nephew from California came to visit. He played with it, I was a-ok with it. Nephew is 9. Wife's friends kid came by. 5 minutes and the base was destroyed. Rules should be in place so that this doesn't happen. I was mad for a couple days don't get me wrong, but I explained that he can't mess with stuff that's not in the office. Guidelines, and all that are important. A moc I spent a few weeks of building on was gone in minutes. Thank god for cigarrettes and patience.

I hate to sound like a negative nancy, but if I could I'd return the superman set. I wasn't too impressed with supes ww or lex. Its basically the gangster suit with a fleshy head on top of it. The superman hair piece is unique and all but really, what's the point? They don't have a fleshy glasses head ((as far as I can tell)) that's not Harry Potter, so Ic an't make a Clark Kent, unless I went earth 1 style, but even then, eh. Sure, the mech's cool ((It's really just a recolored atlantis tank minus the tank transforming part)) The kryptonite blaster is cool, Wonder Woman's Lasso look really cheap, and kinda dumb if it's not being used in an action pose. I do sort of regret spending 21 bucks on it...BUT it's a superman. So what the heck. Catwoman with cycle is neat, I like the new batman, the blue cape thing was my only real problem, the cycle is a carbon copy of the previous, the jet pack is cool but needs to have a black counterpart. The street scene will be added to a moc I'm working on ((finally got the town house done, ish jkust need a roof and the interior)). It's neat, but I'd want to wait for the second wave this summer. Hopefully Green Lantern will pop up, until it's copies of older sets with a kid friendlier approach. I will be buying the batcave, The bruce wayne is a must have as is the new robin mask ((Not pleased that it's double sided)) and maybe the batcycle is cooler then it looks. I really doubt it but we'll find out soon enough. If you have the money go for the Superman set. Just my two cents.

Gray/blue bats does have back printing. Just his back muscles and more utility belt with pouches. It's pretty awesome all around.

Well the box art doesn't feature him wearing the cloth cape at all. Like the picture of the figure is batman minus a cape. Which stuck me as odd when I saw it. I immediatly thought "Well that's just for the outside." 5 minutes later. No cape. I was very sad. I'll probably call Lego and see if they can "hook a brother up." as the term goes.

Went to tru in vegas yesterday, the one on Stephanie and Sunset, picked up the catwoman and Superman sets. Blue batman did not come with a blue cape. Besides that little buggabo, everything else was pretty sweet about those sets. Also got the new camper, the cop car, 2 booster ninjago sets. All in all a good day for lego buying. Still super bummed about the lack of a blue cape though. They also had the batwing but I didn't wanna shell out another 40 bucks.

In a perfect world we'd see Batman and the outsiders. But it's not. But hopefully we'll see NIghtwing, and maybe some other "D listers" as it were. Animal man, Buster Gold, maybe a whole set of Green Lanterns from the corp.

Nightwing needs to pop up.

I really enjoyed the futuron stuff from my childhood, and I don't know what it is, but the Space Police 3 stuff was fantastico.

I was just thinking about the comic, since the "reboot" dc went through lately, figured they'd want to throw some titans our way. And I can't really tell if Robin in YJ is Dick or Tim. I think they're going off of the red hood flick continuity as far as batman is concerned and it's probably Tim? But that just screams wrong to me for some reason. NPH needs to make a guest appereance as NW if that's the case though. \m/

Is it crazy to hope for a Young Justice/Teen Titans set? How awesome would that be?

I don't have any of the fancy modular buildings, god willing I'd like to get some one day but the wife will probably frown alot, however; I am currently attempting to build a 3 story town house with a basement, so 4 story I guess. I'm using a 32x32 plate because I want to throw in a street scene all that jazz. the majority of the building is white, as thats the primary color I have save for black, but that's on a space ship moc I've been building forever. So I guess my question would be, would brown rounded 2x2's work for the corner pieces? I'm going white, brown, white brown, etc. I'll try to get some pictures soon. The basement will be something special I think, the first story is the entry way, as I gave it a forward facing car port, I lack the patience to make a garage door, but due to recent events I might give it a try, back on track, the second story will be the kitchen/nook/living room while the third will be two bedrooms and probably 2 restrooms. I used 1x4 brown tiles to simulate a classic wooden floor look and am adding in decoration as I can. So in a roundabout way I'm asking, is white/brown a good combination lookswise? I'll try to get a pic or two up make it easier if people saw the darn thing.

Reminds of the first time Puke face showed said..face. The car looks great, minus the wings, sort of wish we'd see a two seater for batman and robin, but I guess that's what motorcycles and some model paint are for, go go robin cycle. Where is Ras al Ghoul alreday, sheesh. Also, not seeing a green lantern in the first wave makes my heart sad. The batcave is meh, but it'll be nice to update one's own batcave with said pieces. Could do without the drill, the bat-cycle looks like garbage. The flying batman looks neat, I like the wings, I forsee many sets purchased, the cycle isn't anything we haven't seen before. Wish they would have made a new-ish helmet for the cat lady, maybe some goggle visors but I'll take what I can get. The superman/wonder woman/luthor set looks cool. Though in all practicallity the suit would be ripped open and Luthor hucked to the sun in about 20 seconds. The batwing looks nifty, will be buying it missed it on the first go. I'm excited about the "The updated" Robin, though I'm pretty sure everyone that owned a Robin updated said costume at one point or another. I am eager to see the marvel stuff. And hopefully the Spiderman sets. Wouldn't mind getting a Spdiey out of the deal, I passed on it the first time around, during my dark ages and all.

Monster hunter would be pretty cool, but on the other hand why re-release the monsters? It sort of defeats the idea of "Collectible Minifigure." I mean don't get me wrong it'd be neat to see a Van Helsing staking a vamp, but that's probably too violent for TLG. Thought Machine guns and mummies happened so who knows. I'd like to see a paranormal-ish set that's for sure. Might make for some interesting Silient hillish mocs or something along those lines.

Might want to give the Pathfinder series a try. rules are simplified and the creation process is fantastic.

Quick question, I have a robin from the penguin/robin's sub set, I got rid of the green and threw in red and black legs, and arms with black gloves, can I use this Robin or do I have to go back to the green and red nonsense?

Took my wife to see the Three Musketeers, she dug it, I didn't. Movie was a corny action flick that tried to be another pirates of the caribean imo. It's a good way to kill 2 hours in the scheme of things.
