The LEGO Movie Sets News and Discussion
greeny replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I'm excited for this! For once we'll be getting some accurate movie sets (I'm looking at you Iron Man 3 Ultimate Showdown ). Does anyone think we'll get Clutch Powers or Chase McCain figures if they appear in the movie? Or will we be getting Batman in these sets?- 2,626 replies

Despicable me 2: Once again the minions were as funny as ever and I liked the new characters! The ending was also pretty heart warming I'd give it an 8.5 out of 10. Monsters University: After two average films I feel like Disney/Pixar are finally back! It was great to see Mike, Sulley and Randall once again. I'd also give this one an 8.5 out of 10.

Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion
greeny replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
I saw Iron Man 3 yesterday and I though I'll share my thoughts on how accurate the sets are compared to the film. WARNING IRON MAN 3 SPOILERS!!! -
Don't forget Arkham Origins: Blackgate. I hope the 3d Mario game is a whole new idea, not SMG 3 or Sunshine 2.

Iron Man 3. The action and humor were great! My only gripe with the film is:

Legends of Chima-Overall Thoughts
greeny replied to LegoBenzine's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I'm not very impressed with this theme. Minifigures- They just look... strange. I purchased one of the smaller sets in the line and I don't like the minifigures. The heads are far too big and detailed. Vehicles- This is the best part of the theme. TLC did a brilliant job of making each vehicle go with a certain tribe and the Eagle vehicles are the highlights of the theme. Speedorz- I haven't tried them so I don't know. Show- I saw one episode and I didn't like it. I am a massive fan of Lego humor (Lego City Undercover has to be the best example of this), but this shows humor fell flat for me. I prefered the Ninjago show since the main characters were more like able and the show didn't feel like one massive advert. Anyway, I hope the theme does well because there has clearly a lot put into this theme -
Phew! I was certain it was a prank on April 1st but I was getting a bit worried after it the banner wasn't changing a couple of days later At least I'll be prepared for next year

Is this really happening? I thought it was just an April Fools joke... -
I just got my copy of the game with the Chase Mccain mini figure I've been playing it for four hours and I haven't put it down. The script is very funny with puns, cheesy one liners and references too famous movies (Titanic/Matrix/Sherlock Holmes). It's also really awesome seeing all of the City buildings and vehicles in the game

I think the original ending involved a court scene with the Joker, and he turns Harvey Dent into Two-Face by throwing acid in his face. This was then supposed to set up the third film.

Maybe this set could be at a larger price point and include a Camo Tumbler and the Bat-pod? Throw in a henchman and police officer and it's good to go!

I love this! You managed too pull of the chaotic and dark nature of Mad Hatter really well (I also like your custom figures!)

That reason is why I put them in Maybe it could connect too Barrel Escape?

If we are going to get a wave of sets for 'There and back again' I would like to see: Orc and Goblin battle pack: 2x Orc 2x Goblins, a Warg and some rocks Elf and Men battle pack: 2x Elven warriors, 2x Men of Dale, a horse and a catapult The Battle of the five armies: Bilbo, Thorin, Fili Kili (all in battle gear from Erebor) Azog, 2x Orcs, 2x Elven archers, 2x Goblins. The set will consist of lots of rocks that can colapse and explode and maybe the outside of Erebor? Perhaps TLC will release a Smaug set that will give us the inside of Erebor and lots of treasure

Why doesn’t LEGO provide any battle packs?
greeny replied to Elander's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
This sounds really good! For the Third wave of Hobbit sets (if there is one) I hope that most of the sets are good for army building. That way we can recreate the Battle of the Five Armies, and be able to use them in the Lord of the Rings sets (Orcs, Elfs ect..). I hope TLC realizes the amount of money they can get from battle packs. Gandalf Arrives and Riddles for the Ring are the worst sets in the line IMO -
Either Lego Mario, or Lego Simpsons or Futurama. I can imagine how awesome those would be

It's good, but I completed the main story in 4 hours If you like collecting stuff though, you should get it!

Ah- ok I think this film was the best in the triolgy, and Bane was nearly as good as Joker. In terms of being a villan Bane did much more, but Joker was more iconic.

I'm sorry, but I belive the 'R' was a prop one of the extra's managed to sneak in Killer Croc was in the animated film 'Batman: Gotham Knight' which takes place between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. I saw the film again, and I don't know which Batwing Lucius was checking in the ending montage, since the one Batman was flying was blown up by a nuke

Mr Freeze's attack Minifigures: Artic Batman and Mr Freeze Vericles: A small Bat bike or Bat buggy, and a large-ish snowsled for Mr Freeze with a freeze ray on the back. Inludes an ice piece (like the one in the old Batcave) to 'freeze' people with. Price: £15-20
