I am really tempted to order the AMG GT3 but my experience with the poor sticker quality of the large Sauber F1 car has made me hold back. My most enjoyable CADA build to date is the black 911 GT primarily because it doesn't have any stickers! CADA IMHO really need to catch up with Lego regarding stickers as thats their achilles heel. Is there anyone who has obtained & built the AMG GT3 please tell me if it has stickers, if so is the quality good & do they have large clear areas that span multiple pieces? EDIT Don't worry Facebook answered - No stickers all printed.

Sadly no more riding for me due to age (68), I am reasonably fit but use the car these days (Nissan 370Z). -
Toyota MR2 Mk1 MOC

Excellent, I used to own a black MK1 MR2 back in the day (Non T Bar). I really hope you put it on Rebrickable, as I would consider purchasing the parts to build your creation. -
I had a lot of trouble getting my 42131 to initially calibrate & any request to recalibrate since doesnt work but it continues to function as intended. Did it ever calibrate? Probably not based on your description, so I would suspect the gearbox build as that (if I remember correctly) controls/changes the different functions.

I recently purchased a quantity of 6536 (Technic Axle and Pin Connector Perpendicular) from a seller on Bricklink along with about 600 other pieces for a purchased Lukas MOC of set 42096. I already had some of these connectors which all had a glossy black exterior finish but the purchased 42096 connectors all had a flat black appearance which made me believe they may not be genuine Lego so I binned them. Imagine my surprise when I opened the sealed Lego 911 RSR set (42096) - All of the supplied 6536 connectors were flat black!

I have now finished my non “Colour Vomit” version & as a result have a sizeable bag of left over parts. My disappointment can be summed up in two words - Ride Height. -

Hope you & your family have a great New Year & 2025. -
I recently received a preordered CADA RUF GT. I was amazed by the complexity of some parts of the build and overall it exceeded my expectations. It even has sprung closing doors courtesy of shock absorbers. There were only two negatives: With the exception of the instrument cluster all bodywork stickers are applied (according to the instructions) almost at the end of the build, I prefer to apply during the build. However, this could have been done with a bit of forethought on my part. Secondly, there are four printed parts (the striped curves on roof and bonnet). One of mine has a serious flaw and I have asked CADA for a replacement. Last time I asked for the relacement of a flawed part (Alfa Romeo F1 Car) the part never arrived.

I have now finished the build and you are right the stickers are not on the same level. Ignoring the stickers that cover multiple bricks my biggest let down was the solid white stickers applied to black panels - They are semi transparent and after application look grey rather than white which detracts from the overall model.

I recently received all the parts required to fit 42171 wheels to this model from Lego. IMHO the new tyres and wheelcovers etc from 42171 are exactly what should have been supplied for this model originally.

Thank you for your kind reply. The real actuators look so much better. -

I wasn't a great fan of the false actuators so I used a Rebrickable mod that required two extra linear actuators to replace the fake ones, plus other parts. However, these extra actuators are merely a cosmetic improvement and only function if manually extended by rotating a gear which is incorporated into the mod.. From the printed instructions the metal part of all of the linear actuators extend by 29mm for the initial post build calibration. My own experience suggests these lengths only work for the first calibration and won't work for any repeat calibrations. If you want to perform a repeat calibration in the future I have only been successful if I delete the App entirely and repeat the initial calibration with the printed instruction extended lengths. -
42056 The retired set I finally paid a fortune for because its my favorite car in real life. 8674 Restarted my Lego journey in preparation for helping my children build 8421 & 8275 back in the day then I Lego "retired" again until 2020. I have retained my 8674 and rebuilt their 8421 & 8275 from their Lego box!

I initially had this problem as I was careless in extending the Linear Actuators to the printed instruction pictures/lengths (see relevant pages in instructions). However, I could only get the calibration to complete once unless I reinstalled the App and returned the actuators to the specified build lengths each time. To date I have been unable to repeat the calibration without these two steps.

D11 42131 troubleshooting
williamyzfr1 replied to Micky505's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Yes mine did too BUT it won't recalibrate and I don't think thats to related to a build problem, verified by a reinstall of the Control+ App, which allows it to calibrate once more but once only & never repeatable. Have you actually ever tried to repeat recalibration? -

Thank you for your reply which seems to confirm my findings. I was relieved to find this set before it became retired but in some ways I am very disppointed that I paid a lot of money for a flawed Lego set.
