In other news, I remembered that my friend actually owns the big castle set, so I can probably even borrow his golden armor to take an equipment-accurate picture of Thormanil, too! Just need him to get back to campus, heh.

It reduces SP as a negative effect. You can merge scrolls and gems with artefacts to gain immunity to those effects.

Hmm, wonder how much Docken or one of the other high-SP heroes would shell out for one of these. It would be a great addition to an SP-stacking tank's artefact.. If I could get my hands on an Amethyst... Thormanil would be nigh on unstoppable! Ubertank! What's that, Mr. Level-500-Enemy-Who-Hits-Like-A-Truck? You want to hit me? Well, sure, go right ahead. But wait, let me interrupt you real quick... you now only deal Darkness damage and, oh, look at that.. I'm immune! Edit: I suppose this could be done with any artefact, two of any given gem, and the scroll... but I've already got the armor so.. heh.

Actual Balance vs Perceived balance Forceful blow: Knocks target back a row. They must fight from the resulting row in the next round. If knocked back from the back row, character will be forced to act from the back row next round, but will take damage as though they had zero SP. Simple position-based monster trait. Keeps people(cough doc cough) from always eating hits from the back row and makes it more a mkre straregic decision. Works especially well with charge-up attacks ;)

If this plays out as well as it reads, it will be a very interesting game to watch! I'd love to try my hand at it (encouraged roleplaying? ) but I know that I won't have near enough time. Entertain me, furries!

Hey, we have yet to find ourselves back in those sewers! Although, I'd rather like to find out what happens if we do get knocked out and wake up in that stagnant cess-pool of a septic system... And yeah, this new job is really cutting into my questing time. What gives, job? Try not to clear out the three title-bosses before Thormanil gets to try his hand at em, alright, folks? For what it's worth, if you read this, Jeb, go ahead and consider both of my weapons as Sharp/Blades for the purposes of the specials. Oh, and good lord--those double blades in the hand of a mystic knight. I pity the monster-pack that has to deal with that!

Yeah. Lots of that. Talk of gloating victory games and such. Certainly no bemoaning the fact that we got pwnt by unexpected town roles rather than our my own scumtelliness.
