  1. For megablocks' sake, please pay attention. I know it's a big battle and can get confusing, but that was a huge throw of a round. Thormanil throws an Ice Bomb at the Kingdoms' Territory. "Jess or Dreyugr, get Haldor on his feet NOW."
  2. Thormanil sizes up the line from the ramparts. With any luck, he'll be able to skewer David as he lands That is, if I'm allowed to pick a new target since the last one's lying face down
  3. I'm a bit slow today--do you mean that you use the Remedy on him, or give him one for him to use? I'm assuming the former, but yeah, very drained today so I want to make sure. Thormanil repeats. With Shishkebab, just to be sure. Hasn't come up in the damage calcs, yet.
  4. Thormanil bounces back off the wall of tempered steel, regains his footing, and again attempts to pierce their lines. Attack Skirmisher G from the front row
  5. Way to squelch the creativity, Jim, heh.
  6. Well now, that's just cheating
  7. Bah, nonsense! We have several mage-types in our combined party, I'm sure they could focus really really hard and put some wind beneath our wings to slow our fall, letting us float gently down to the water below where they could then channel ether through an aquamarine to calm the river and guide us safely to shore. The battle would rage on above us but we'd all get where we needed to go without a scratch. Down a few tonics, use some earth-magic to carve stairs into the cliff face, and boom, we get a nice hike up to see the aftermath!
  8. I was going to type a lot, but I think I'm going to save it, too, for the QM lounge and just see how this plays out.
  9. I think it just doesn't make sense from an RP standpoint. Yes, according to the rules as written, we'll all win if we can wear both sides down, but then, the vast majority of us would also win if we just jumped off the side of the bridge after stalling only the kingdoms' forces for one turn so that the orcs can reach the tower first. Considering in-character motivations, fighting against the army you've chosen to side with makes about as much sense as jumping off the bridge does.
  10. ...Well then. I always manage to let a little ignorance bleed through on every battle, it seems, heh. Kingdoms Territory: Thormanil stabs at Skirmisher A from the front row with Shishkebab.
  11. Aw bugger, I meant to pass my Frozen Saber to someone. Would anyone on the Eastern Front object to Nelvin and Thormy taking this round to pass the weapon along? An AoE stun could be pretty useful.
  12. Thormanil follows Guts to the Eastern Border.
  13. Well at least we'd have gotten a good laugh out of it, heh.
  14. Aaaand now I'm terrified of the possibility that my idea could fail hilariously. Thanks a lot
  15. Well only if you twist things to your evil, QM-y ends (as far as I can see).
  16. Well now I'm curious what you think I'm doing, because I don't know if I'd call my plan (and the aftermath) hilarious... QM Lounge is going to be an interesting place when this is all over, heh.
  17. There's gotta be some glory in ending an epic battle in record time, if not in an epic fashion, eh? Haha
  18. The desire to circumvent the intended mechanics of this event is strong with this one. I think it'll be more fun if we play by the rules, of course, but I do have something figured out
  19. Thormanil grunts. "Easy answer t'all this." He steps next to Guts and whispers to him.
  20. Yes, but which bodies, hmm?
  21. Just to be sure, the Central Tower is considered "controlled" if its section is occupied by forces of that faction, so the orcs would control it if the setup is [Orcs][Orcs][Orcs][Orcs(Tower)][Heroes][Kingdoms][Kingdoms], and then if the heroes get overrun, the two armies meet in the section that the heroes previously occupied? Also, in that example, if the heroes got overrrun in the following turn, if I understand it correctly, the Orcs would control the tower and so the bridge wouldn't collapse, right?
  22. "I'll follow Guts through this, sure."
  23. "Arx'n I are with the Orcs. Ain't no sense otherwise, far's I can see."
  24. "I don't believe the Orcs plan to tear down the bridge anymore. Was the plan, and mind ya we were here to help prevent that, but then they crossed first and laid siege. The bridge'll stand, just depends who's gonna be crossin' it."
