  1. Hi you should find there at least one Lego Store with this PAB Wall: http://www.brickbuildr.com/view/pab/side/off/1/ Do not expect high discounts with this shops, i never have seen in german Lego Store discounts as the US guys have... :( Highest discounts can be expect on old sets, staying for a couple of years on the shelves of normal toystores. Therefor do a search for "Spielzeug" and "Spielzeugladen" with google to find some toystores localized in Hamburg (i do not know any). New 2012 stuff is mostly everywhere to find for german lists prices. Dino
  2. Hi so then it is not a "fully chromed" but massively chromed starship ;) I do not brother Anio in any way, i just would like to know if i am right. If you look at the prices for chromed parts AND keep Legos Executor flat bottom in mind, they would release this as Set also without chromed underside. Anyway - This MOC is superb, with or without chromes underside. Dino
  3. Hi the bottom bricks that ate only can bebseen for a short time in the video are looking like grey bricks. Am i right or is this just a kid of reflexion? Dino
  4. Hi Amazing! This MOC goes truely hand in hand with those from Spencer R. Dino
  5. Hi Every time i watch the movies and this ship comes up, i am wondering how this will become sometime a Lego ship. THIS is the answer! Very sleek design with a minimum of parts - but still a worthy UCS! Dino
  6. Hi ... you REALLY should change your avatar! I peed my pants wet! :D Dino
  7. Hi yes of cause: Directly at the Karlsplatz there is the Obletter Toy Store. A very old and very large toystore. Unlike german Lego stores they DO have a lot of Sets on sale. If you do not care about the box quality there might be e.g. a 3year old Technic sets that areabout 60% off. Those sets that "nobody likes" have always the best discount and can be a grat source for new parts. If you visit Munich, you will be automatically at the Karlsplatz, so have fun at shopping ;) Dino
  8. Hi unfortunately i feel people do more disagree with Anio himself and his way how he presents and defenses his spectacular UCS MOCs more then the MOCs itself. Please keep in mind he is (like me and many others here around) not a native english speaker. Beside this his MOCs (all of them) are very good. This one too. There might be tons of changes that in the eye of the beholder will add more preciseness or more detail. But who cares? I think most people who "critizise" his MOCs are mostly doining that because Anio presents them as "perfect" (in his definition). Guys, he spents lot of time for those MOCs they are his babies ;) And they are beatuful ones :) Please all dont be rude - and Anio, keep Mocing and posting here. Dino
  9. Hi can you please tell me which bag was not in the box and how you can find out without opening the box that the bag will be in or out? Dino
  10. Hi Spencer, that is truly amazing. I can not say where to start: is it why they are all in the same scale? Is it the highest degree of details? Or the great colors? Or all together!? As a photographer, NYC lover and AFOL, that the best for if have ever seen. The next time you havebthem all in a line, please make a panorama where you move your position instead of turning the camera. Some software can handle those plan panos and will render for you a skyline ;) Dino
  11. Hi i have to say i found "your others" a way earlier than i started again with Lego at home and here. I looked for some good shots of NYC because i am a photographer and NYC fan too - but i found your work! Like today i was and am truly shocked how you reproduce the style flair of those well known landmarks. Thank you for sharing that with us. I hope you will get them all one day in a row for a good photoshot. Are you older skyscrapers still there or did you disassembled them? Dino
  12. Hi my voting: 2) 3 points - because it it soooo close to Legos own definition (e.g. low number of parts but good looking) of achitecture sets 12) 2 points - same as above plus playfeature! 17) 1 point - nice design and colors 38) 1 point - nice details and scale Good luck! Dino
  13. Hi as biologist i really have to comment your Incredible MOC. Iam a specialist in beetles (not bugs) but the shape, the dimensions and sizes are very precise. I really like to looknof the torso and head. Even the angles of the legs are quite good. I would recommend that MOC for the contest hust for the look and design. But it has a working functionallity that makes it even better! Veyr well done! Dino
  14. Hi the german SAH still has the fire brigarde available - without any shipping delays or something similar. I am very close to get one of them. It would be my start into th modulars. I think it is a good idea to start with the oldest of the ones that are still in the shop. Dino
  15. Hi there is one big spellword that explains most of photography's issues: Amateurs worry about equipment (camera), professionals worry about money (for their work) and masters worry about light (that is making the picture). As you see Brickdoctor mentioned the light as highly important... ;) I would like to say thar most comsumer cameras that have a manual mode (to close the aperature and to do good whitebalancing) are able to do good macros of Lego IF you have a good light situation. Difuse light that is comming from everywhere is necessary. Imagine you have a small kind of "tent" made from white paper or tissue then every direct roomlight or flash will be now straylight with very soft shadows. The Lego have to be placed within the tent. Prevent direct light with hard shadows and refecting highlights. Dino
  16. Hi thanks for sharing this. Although this is oviously not an 100% acurate MOC it gemerates a VERY nice shadow on the snow. And that is pretty cool! Dino
  17. Hi i bet there will be copyright and trademarktroubbles about the brand logos. There are no problems to take pictures of them, probably problems to share them for free and for sure problems if you sell them. I fibf them pricy too, because they are often "just simple macros" on acylic aludibond. My 30x90 cm (12x36") acrylic aludibonds are for 100€. And they use kodak profesional portait paper. So those are still large and so expensive but many thousands are a way too much. Dino
  18. Hi Thank you for explaining Palpatine so detailed, but i am looking for a overview of all important characters in a very short description that gives me keywords to stick on. The keywords that i have written for Palpatine as example are detailed enough. I might be something like a family tree. I had to laugh about your Misstrauensvotum. :) Dino
  19. Hi I am looking for a SW mindmap that explains "all" important characters of EP 1 to 6. I would like to explain the plot to somebody that is pretty new with the movies (first time). E.g. Palpatine, Sith, once senator, then cancelor, then imperator. For the first time it is hard to understand why he should pushed or initiated the separatists and their droids. It seems he is setting up an army against himself, but in fact he gives the republic the reason to get "himself" an army too, the clones. Is there a graphical overview thatexplains the plot and characters? Thanks Dino
  20. Hi I have to laught... Recently i checked my favorite Toy store to see if something is for sale after Xmas and they had a full box of season 3 Minifigs. Each 1€! Now i feel very VIPish :) Dino
  21. Hi Great! And now it is a Dodge Ram 3500... :) What about "twin wheels"? That is how we call that in Germany. Dino
  22. Hi I am sorry. I meant the air intakes, not the hood itself. I do not know each word in english until someone is writing it ;) I feel the air intake sticks a bit too much out of the hood. Dino
  23. Hi Blade's car - veeeery cool :) I like the "just grillie" front and the curved piece for the "hips". Do you have round lamp plates under the grillies? The only think that is too much for me is the hight of the engine hood. Is there a way to get them a plate lower into the front? Dino
  24. Hi Great! I like the version with the tiles as hood more than the other one. But who cares, both are bad/angry looking hrhr. The back is the most coolest i have ever seen on a US car. It is build so simple but look so great! Please do me a favour: There is one great BLACK movie muscle car missing in your collection: Blade's 1969er Dodge Charger :) It would fit very well to the other two! Dino
  25. Hi hehe - no,they even did not get a single Euro from me. It always had been a "regular traffic control". No idea why they ever pick me, maybe i look, or my car looks guility ;) I only had to join them when my car had been broken up in the east of Amsterdam. I funily asked them why they had not been around me as usual ;). Never try to build a dutch Lego Audi A4. It must be a totally rare car there because i was not able to get a new backwindow for two days... Dino
