    Hi guys it seems since Brickdoctor surrendered keeping this topic clean we have lost the aim of this topic. - Please, dont ask what sets to buy here - Dont tell us your wishes, regarding new sets - Please do come up with new rumors about Star Wars sets or comment them.     Hi i got two DS 10188 today, with difficulties: While the DS is everywhere in Europe (world except US) sold out online its still available in Brand Stores. My aim was to buy two, one for me, one for my best friend. I had in mind to buy via two diffrent VIP cards (one is mine, one is his'). In Cologne they told me they will sell only one to me as person, independently from the two VIP cards which belongs to two different persons. The store assistant had to ask her manager, but he confirmed the "one physical person rule". This was also valid for the Yularen fig. She told me 10188 is highly restrickted and limited to one purchase per person because its limited stock. I said i could come two hour later and nobody will remember me... Her suggestion was to aks other people in the store to pick the DS for me, CRAZY!! Well the next Lego store in Oberhausen gave me the second DS on my account aswell with the Yularen... I never expected that reaction when somebody puts about 800€ on the table. Dino

    Hi the 10188 DS is gone now in Germany. Its no longer on the sales page or the product page. Its said its no longer available product if you are seatching for 10188. Dino

    Hi @Kingslayer and Sypderlord: Thank you both for the info, although your info doesnt match :) @Resale-practice: Thats my way to finance my hobby, sets. If i purchase another copy of the DS i am not taking it from some kids innocent hands. I do it online, kids dont buy 400€ sets online... Where i am buying from there is always a huge stock of sets, although it says "limited". And yes, i am reselling it, mostly to AFOLs that started their hobby later than i did. I am not complaining not having the 10179 or the Green Grocer, i have other sets instead. St eBay you are mot ripping somebody, because its the somebody that is bidding the price on the set. Dino

    Hi please keep us updated. 2016 will be the TFA year, and as long as a new DS is not the major feature in TFA (which i doubt) there will be no DS set for a long time. Lego will have to fill market needs for villian und hero space ships from TFA. The only other "big playset" rumor that sometime comes up is about a retiring Ewok Village and a replacment with a new cloud city UCS-like set. Bit the DS is still out of any system of releasing and retiring... its the DS and its a TRAP :) Edit: Last hint for a soon retiring DS: On every PRODUCT page from Lego (not the shop page) there is no Red Five and no DS, even in all sets or exclusives. http://www.lego.com/en-gb/starwars/products/exclusives Have these sets been there ever or are they put off that page because both are retiring?     Hi i am wondering the same. On all local shop webpages that have a discount on the DS there is this message: *Hurry! Limited availability of Death Star (10188) at discounted price. It may mean two things, that only the DISCOUNTED DS is limited or that the DS in general is now a limited (out of production) set. For the later case, i want to buy a second copy of that set. ALL UCS sets (and high detail sets) bevome ridiculous after,arket prices here in Germany. The Lambda Shuttle is now 600-800€, the SSD 700-1000€, both MISB. I always use this effect to get money for future Lego purchaes ;) I still dont know if this is the final sign of retiring of the very very very old DS. Dino

    Hi i have been just courious and was looking for the discounts on the EN-US page. Man, i feel pity for you. Keychains, keychains, more keychains, and yes, the ugly MTT (aka piece of $4!t with droids). Thats the way Lego makes my happy about my poor 10%... Dino

    Hi be careful! I tried this last year, placed two orders within the same day (weekend). I got both figs last year in the basked, but they cancelled the second one later... Chamces are bigger if you place your second order a few days after the initial purchase. Oooooor you have a second account like me :) Dino

    Hi me too, good question. I desire the OT posters, but simpley dont want to purchase thrice. There will be plenty of eBayer who sell Yularen quickly just to add some discount tomtheir purchase. They often do this WITH the poster. So, for me its buying 2 Yularens at eBay plus EP V and EP VI. Yularen will not lose his value over the time, the face, the WHITE pieces, everything desireable for army builders. Dino

    Hi indeed. Most mentionable, the 99$ UCS B-Wing sale. That was 2 years ago, when the sets still has cost an equivalent of 230$ in Germany. While the sale this year seems to be mostly disaapointing for everybody, i think this will blew up Yularens aftersale prices. Dino

    Hi most of all SW sets had a 10% discount in Germany now. Funnily the X-Wing is even WITHOUT discount cheaper then in the Netherlands now. Dutch people! Take a trip to Germany, maybe Lego Store cologne :) I have ordered the Ewok Village, 225€ now. Its 25€ more expensive than TRU now, but i wanted the Yularen and the Poster. Dino

    Hi First, get the DS, as long as you can. One of the best Lego sets ever. It might discontinue soon, or never. Its like Duke Nukem Forever, just the other way around... Regarding discount: TRU Germany has from now 20% on all LSW. For example the Slave 1 which is sold out atm (gone within hours). THATS a discount worth speaking of... I am wondering if i will get the Ewok Village for 200€ at TRU or at 225€ from SAH with VIP Points and Yularen... Dino

    Hi i had the same (bad) feeling about this. Usually Lego in German online shops is 20% off Legos MRSP. If there are are special discounts that adds, you will end of 30-40% cheaper than Lego SAH MRSP. For example i got the Cantina for 53€, including free delivery... I paid less than 90€ for my AT-AT... So i am accepting these "discounted" prices as long thex dont add 15€ or more to other online store prices, becaus thats the value of the fig (eBay germany, few days after the first sale). Unfortunately we will never ever have discounts as in the US at SAH where they sold the UCS B-wing fot 99$, where we got it "discounted" for 189€, which meant in the past almost 250$... Lege germany always made jokes about the 55€ limit to get the fig. They discounted the "cheap" 29.99€ Sets this ways that two of these dont hit 55€... Clever.... May the force 4this a hype in Germany like Halloween - we dont get something special and we dont understand it, but HEY, its cool... Dino

    Hi Thanks Lobot and bmerigan. Thats quiet the imput i needed to get this thing started. I dont mind paying 100€ gor that and spending a year of planing and purchasing. I like the idea of swapping parts a lot, especially in the inner structure. Whats the easiest way to track all purchased and still to purchased parts? Blricklink wanted list? How do i import there the MF part list? Dino

    Hi thats simply to guess ;) For you as dutch its the same for me as german: Its always those sets that are combined at list prive above 55€, e.g. 60€ (29,99 + 29,99) for Anakins fighter and Grievous Whee) but with 10% discount its both together slightly below 55€ ;) Clever... It happened to me thrice :( So this year it will be the Skyhopper and the Hailfire Droid. Wanna bet? :D Dino

    Hi Lobot, would you mind sharing with us what you paid for the BL MF? I am still tempting to start this project bevause i think its in the 700-900€ league (500-700£) so, more expensive a potential new UDC MF (EP VII or VIII) would be. But on the other hand is no deal where you have to put ALL the money at the same time on the table to get it. I dont mind waiting a year to have all parts together and spending 50-70€/ month averagly for the parts. Dino

    Hi well, all sets with figs (except SSD or the new UCS TIE) are minifigure "scale". Even the precessors of the UCS Slave 1 are minifig scale - just because Fett fits in. If the scale is more acurate to the human/movie model ratio, thats a different story then. Dino

    Hi May the Force 4th exclusive minifig seems to be Admiral Yularan. I am afraid i never heard of him but it is still an OT character - not just a TCW or even worse (at least for me) Rebels character. Any thoughts on that minifig? I doubt the demand for him is comparable to TC-4 or Revan.... Dino
