There are some vehicles in HP like Hogwarts express, the bus, Ford car but thats about it. For me this theme is mainly about structures and characters because there is a ton of them.

I mean if this theme keeps going for next year then 3rd CMF is a must because there are still many characters and their versions we missed in sets.

I got what I wanted in june wave its just not as good as I wanted it to be and by that I mean its quite bad but minifigs can save it :D

Yes thats giving me hope that I will like at least something but on the other hand except Hogsmeade I dont like june wave and you kinda hinted that august wave is even worse so I am really confused what to expect.

No you didnt, sry that I meantioned you there. You just said that we will be in shock but I remember Guyon saying something like god no to question if he like august sets so I assume they are really bad, not in build quality but overall selection.

Hobbit/Lotr theme didnt end because sets were bad but because after there were no new movies Lego lost the rights. Also in my opinion those sets were pretty good. As I said previously I am starting to think that Guyon and Falconfan dont like august sets only because they are nothing they or we expected.

But if these august sets are not buildable figures or brickbuild animals but just playsets or anniversary playsets I cant see reason why would they be so bad.

I mean are you even suprised after all negative hints Guyon and Falconfan gave us? Not a single positive information from them in regards to august wave... We seriously need someone to end this because its making this thread so depressive. But when we finaly get the info about what august sets are and it turns out to be better or equal to june sets I will never again trust hints from these guys :DDD

Same here, if we will be kept with this amount of knowledge about august sets for one more month it will drive me crazy :D

I think this is just anniversary diversion and that this theme will go back to its 2018-2020 style but I am not sure if it happens this year or next one because sadly we still dont know what are august sets based on.

If we get warewolf Lupin minifig he needs new mould for sure because his appearance in POA is nothing like warewolfs from other movies or cartoon series.

The quality of those pictures is pretty decent to see build design and as far as I know builds of sets dont change after prelims. I didnt say all people who collect HP sets are disappointed but some of them (a lot of them) are and its understandable.

Well if you are into Star Wars and Superheroes themes I get that you like these. But some people here who collect mainly lego HP have much higher standards for build quality and movie accuracy. Dont get me wrong, I was collecting Lego Star Wars too but those times are already gone and now with few exceptions I see those sets as really poor in design and quite overprized. So yes, obviously a lot of people are disappointed with june wave because it just doesnt match the level of greatness of 2018-2020 sets and its not because of green roofs.... and getting remakes of sets mainly from first 2 movies is also quite annoying but not so bad as getting 10th version of Lukes landspeeder I guess I think these are so obscure characters that we dont really need them but sure it would be suprise to get them. I could see Marge coming in CMF series tho.

True, specialy OotP is very poorly represented and Deathly Hallows of course. From GoF we got quite many good sets but I really miss Igor Karkaroff and Rita Skeeter minifigures.

Tbh even POA still offers some interesting sets to be made. Shrieking Shack, Whomping willow with warewolf, defence against dark arts lesson with Lupin, divination class, Leaky Cauldron with Tom, Fudge, Arthur etc.

That is my hope for august sets because if those are anniversary sets as well they might have at least great minifigures

Yeah I will rather leave this.... I would like to theorize but its really hard to imagine something which is for Guyon more disappointing than june wave (which I already do not like) and at the same time think of something that I would actually like. Like I said I wound mind more anniversary sets if they were remakes of something different than Hogwarts 2001-2002 sets as I hate those build style.

I am not talking about leaked pictures or D2C set which I understand need to stay in secret. But if we are talking about set desctiption or names who decides if info is avaible for public or not if leaks arent in control of any company but rather independent individuals who just got lucky to get those informations? Promobricks about month ago shared their description of anniversary sets and they continue to share more so why wouldnt they share august sets info as well? If they havent got any trouble so far I am sure nothing would happen if they shared only set names but it looks like even they dont know it as they say on their page. Probably I shouldnt discuss this kind thing here because someone will shut this thread again but you know its just annoying that the only thing we know is that the sets might be disappointing but you cant make your own opinion because people somehow cant share this info yet

Actually yes there is because we do not know anything about august wave rather prices and piece count and tha its disappointing. I am asking for more because clearly there are people who already know at least some set names so its only a matter of time when someone will leak it. I dont wanna see pictures of august wave ofc but I want to know if I should start saving money or not if it turns out that we are not getting playsets but rather something random and boring like brickbuilds. New Lockhart obviously as I love this character. Then I am looking forward to cat Hermione, Madam Rosmerta and Colin

Well I would be perfectly fine if more anniversary sets meant something like Shrieking Shack remake, Troll bathroom scene or 2nd Task from GoF. If it is anniversary version of Hagrids hut, Hogwarts express or Quidditch then I would be disappointed

Well yes if they are brickbuilds or sth like that the quality is really irrelevant

Something similar we discussed on previous page... but thats not the case. It will be disappointing because those sets are likely just awful.

Jeeeeesus you guys are ruining all our hopes Someone please leak the god damn set names so we can stop making our desperate theories about Gringotts etc.

I meant that Guyon would tell us if unknown sets on Promobricks and rumored (disappointing) august wave were two separate things.
