I mean we still have two minifigures leaked and confirmation that its not Hogwarts Moments set which means its a regular playset, most likely anniversary one. Overall I am quite positive now and I look forward to other minifigures leaks so we can speculate more

Thats great because I dont like the concept of these book sets as they just dont work with other Hogwarts sets. If its just regular playset then I would like it more.

Since first set from august wave leaked, do you think other leakers will break silence as well? I am very curious about that 129.99 set as it has one of the best price per parts ratio I have seen in licenced theme.

Yeah but if we talk about D2C set which most of the kids cant afford anyways, keep in mind that even kids wont buy $250 Dobby sock or Chess set so it better be something like Diagon Alley. With cheaper sets it can be anything tho.

Well in that case I dont get all those “you will be suprised and in a shock how bad it can get” hints. So far august wave sounds amazing and if D2C set is something similar to DA then I will be happy af.

DA expansion with Gringotts or Battle of Hogwarts... There arent many big scenes/locations left to be made into huge D2C playset, that is why I am scared of something brickbuild or microscale. Ofc there are places like Malfoy Mannor, Grimaud Place and Ministry of Magic but those would work better as smaller sets. Also if Hogsmeade wasnt already confirmed as anniversary set in june I would like to have big Hogsmeade (3-4 buildings) as D2C set.

I dont think its too early for it to be from august wave if there are already few people who know about them. Its only a matter of time until we find out what remaining unknown sets are.

Yeah, I am a bit disappointed by another Cho in minifigure pack... idk if its just me but I am so annoyed by Lego using that inaccurate dark skin tone for Cho minifigure. Her skin tone isnt any darker than other white actors. If Lego wants to make her minifigure look Chinese just do something with eyes print.

Doesnt he have same face print as 2018 Great Hall version? Why is D2C such a big deal? :D

Honestly I am quite happy that Hooch minifigure is completely different than bricktober one. Finaly we have something new about august wave, I hope we get even more.

Yes because golden Voldemort based on his appearance from movies 4-8 wouldnt make sense in these anniversary sets which are all based on mainly 1-2. It has to be PS Voldemort so basically Quirrel with Voldemorts face.

Honestly I hope its rather flying lesson with Nevile, Malfoy, Harry and Madam Hoch. Someone asked what would they put into that set, well there is a plenty of Hogwarts buildings around in that scene so I guess they can put there some tower with a wall or a gate next to it.

So if we are getting more anniversary sets I am quite happy because that means playsets and no brickbuild bias. My hopes for august wave have risen up now. I am actually not in the shock or badly suprised as hints suggested. Now give us Shrieking Shack anniversary set or 2nd task from GoF and I will be fine with this year. Could you share it by PM? Or is it too much to ask for Anyways thx, we have finaly something new and positive about august sets to discuss :)

Lockhart. Although DA one is beautiful minifigure its not very accurate as his robes in that scene were blue or at least dark purple. I really hope CoS will got his robes color right this time and maybe he will got leg print.

Thats true, if they were supposed to be june sets then their prelim pictures would leak too
