Yup, seems like that is the case unfortunately. Maybe it has something to do with the friction in the hand joints, so they couldn't make them with the glow in the dark plastic. Similar to how the technic pins only come in certain colors. It's a shame cause it would look amazing combined with those big glow in the dark ghost shroud pieces where only the arms and a tiny bit of the legs is exposed.

That looks so amazing, but what's with the hands though Lego really has upped their game with the minifigures in these sets.

Why would he use those legs though? He has perfectly "normal" legs in S7. Ideally, they would be dual molded but one can only dream. I also thought about the prison cell thingy. Since this would be the smallest duel set by piece count (147), making that out of bricks wouldn't leave much for the throne room itself. And considering how bulky it would need to be to fit an entire minifigure, I'm really curious to see if they went ahead with a new mold. It definitely is a set I'm really looking forward to seeing!

I love these! The trio looks really cute and it's nice to see that they are scaled properly with Hagrid unlike the previous versions. Definitely a must have. Is the other set up somewhere as well? I'm really curious to see how they handled Bellatrix.

Hm, well that's nice to hear! The more the merrier. I just hope that the Bad Batch leak didn't cause them to tighten up the valves so we don't get to see the pictures until shortly before their release date.

Was Vader's meditation chamber revealed not to be the 70$ set or cancelled? If so, then maybe that is the 30$ set, similar to the Vader's transformation from 2017. It would fit the price and said exclusivity.

There's no way they'll sell for less than 15-20$ a piece so at that point you'd just be buying the set and only getting the figures Anyway, looks decent to me, but I wished it was a bit bigger. Oh well, it's gonna be the usual situation where it grows on me after watching the show so I'll have to get it type of thing (Sad Rebels Ghost moment). Now I'm really excited to see the summer sets!

It was on Instagram. An unprinted phase 2 gunmetal grey helmet. Honestly I don't know where you would find it now as it was posted there months, if not almost a year, ago.

Well, we did have that prototype helmet leak a long time ago. I don't know, omitting the helmets in their flagship set would be so dumb I don't know how they would justify it. What I can see though, is including helmetless versions across a few sets later down the line. There is no way this will be the only Bad Batch set so spreading them across a few sets next year along other characters (Fennec Shand, Rex, Saw Gerrera) would be perfect. But would they have black heads under the helmets then? Honestly, I can't wait to see how have they planned all of this.

Wow, these sets are simply incredible! The Basilisk exiting the mouth looks amazing, can't wait to display the interiors of these sets. I always wanted to display the interiors of the old sets but could never get myself to do it because the exteriors were just so good. Finally, there is a solution for that! My favourite set has to be the Great Hall. The minifigure selection is superb. Glad to see they have fixed the printing on Riddle's diary. Can anyone confirm if it is actually a print and not a sticker? The only nitpick I have is the lack of Lockhart's cape. Come on, it's like releasing a Lando Calrissian minifigure without a cape. Does anyone know what color are Lockhart's robes? I like what I'm seeing here. That Vader looks wonderful to me honestly. The only nitpick I have is the grill part, it could have been bigger. These helmets will definitely look much better in person, looking forward to picking them up one day!

Amazing take on this wonderful set! I love how smooth and modern the whole thing looks. You managed to greatly improve upon the build yet remain true to the original. 7754 is one of my favorite sets and I sure hope we get to see a remake of some kind. An updated Mon Mothma and Crix Madine are long overdue!

This is terrifying to hear about. I recently bought my favorite set, the 2007 MTT, used for just 80$ and I am really scared to disassemble it for cleaning. There are quite a few expensive pieces like those 2 dishes for example. Are brown pieces from this period affected as well and does anyone know if Lego would replace pieces like those that have been long out of production if they somehow broke? I think for now I'll keep it assembled, it's quite clean actually lol

Yeah, I don't think this helmet is getting released this year. It just looks way too big next to the Space Shuttle and Bonsai Tree sets compared to the previous helmets. Also, there is no plaque in front of it. But it may suggest they have been thinking about releasing one in the future. The helmet series indeed seems successful.

Didn't they say after the vote that they had some prototypes of the other 2 sets but not the Gunship implying that they are starting from scratch? Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I do somewhat remember reading this in one of the interviews. And I doubt they knew the Gunship would win, I think it was only put to see if there is any interest in prequel UCS sets and they got quite surprised with the results.

Exactly this. I don't understand why people would want a new mold specifically for the hair piece update. The only upgrade I could see is making it a 2 piece thing, where you could close off the underside so Han isn't visible and possibly include some anti-studs so you could pose it like it's levitating.

The V-19 Torrent, Republic Attack Shuttle, ARC-170 (The 2010 version is too old at this point to be considered a proper remake lol), and the Venator amongst others would like to have a word with you There's a lot of desirable Republic stuff to be remade. The blue Y-wing would have been a perfect opportunity for this summer wave, I don't know why they missed out on that one. Not that I'm complaining, the summer wave is gonna be the best one since Rogue one definitely, but I hope we see some of this stuff in the near future.

Well, if you watched Rebels and Ahsoka's episode in the Mandalorian it's pretty obvious to put 2 and 2 together. I honestly can't see a scenario in which someone watches that upcoming series and totally doesn't expect the character to appear. And for Ahsoka at least, did anyone not know she was coming? Like, I'm really curious. People were discussing her live action debut e v e r y w h e r e so the only way not to have known about her was to stay off the internet completely. I never went looking for any leaks before and yet couldn't manage not to stumble across the Ahsoka news. I would have loved it if she weren't announced everywhere like that but what can you do.
