I have seen this configuration of bricks once. But where was it from? An official set, a pic from an ideas book? I just can't remember. The configuration itself is fantastic. Shows how well thought all these bricks are. You mix 3 type of bricks which do not have any relation with each other into something totally new.

Definitely 4564. The loc has 8 wheels. 4563 loc has just 4. Big fan of the red hopper. LOL it is almost exactly the same. Earlier today I was wondering where Lego got their inspiration from for this loc. Now I know.

For me the best cargo train set Lego ever released (as far as I can tell). I prefer it over 4563 as the (yellow) loc has 8 wheels where the (red) loc from 4563 just 4. Like that symbol of power. What I dislike about releases after this one is they all have a color scheme (4565 is red + black for all cars and loc for example). In industry color schemes are not that present. I am also big fan of the red hopper in this one. Hence I like 4536 as well. The B-model is pretty well too btw. I am surprised one year after this one was released Lego released 4565. Why so fast?

A bit too many prefab bricks and not out of my mind about the giant dragon head, apart from that I like it and it has definitely some character suited in the hazy mountains and forests as clearly demonstrated by the front and back of the manual. Shame it never had a successor. I own it as well btw. Non 2nd hand.

For storing / protection you can store them in grip bags. Grip bags are cheap, you can buy 100 for a few euro / dollar. They come in different sizes and they will be sealed so you won't have air circulation. You can also try to press the air out of it.
