Rivendell set was nominated for 2023 TOTY. Should be good encouragement for Lego to make more LOTR sets!

Several of the minifig-based 100 sets for Disney have been nominated at TOTY'23. Lego should pay more attention to that.

I completely agree with you one that one! I think there is a place for exclusive minifigs, but also for repeats, especially in smaller sets. Lego could easily replicate what they do for the Star Wars franchise with the classic Disney line. But Lego is determined to keep things within the minidoll universe. They even said that today's children who are exposed only to minidolls will be tomorrow's adults who will feel nostalgic about it. Talk about brainwashing.

The Hasbro X-Jet has Storm in the same CMF outfit/ look. Perhaps she would be in that set?

Some of them do get bought and rescued from the shelves... and end up parted out for parts. War, famine, social injustice, and minidolls in place of minifigs. They are all but facets of the same suffering. LOL

Lego Disney business is run by minidolls… minifigs are only allowed to surface for sunlight for a few months every three or so years.

If Wolvie is included, he better have retractable claws, if Cyclops then he better have actual firing lasers, and Storm better be capable in summoning thunder and rain. That Jet better not be puny. You have a good point. That Jet better be 'substantial' in form and features.

Someone posted on IG that X-jet will be the jet + 4 minifigs, no sentinel. If true, I wouldn’t be surprised if it ends up being way overpriced for the piece count, as many have already pointed out.

The Boutique Hotel was just amazing. The one that followed it was just meh. Hoping this year we'll see something grand or novel. Honestly, as much as the Assembly square may be outdated, it is a good source of parts! They could perhaps just retire the Jazz Club. LOL I think having the Jazz Club may prevent Lego from releasing, say a concert hall or theater.

Looks like it might end up having a tight/ narrow interior. Seems more emphasis on the outside scenery (small park). I wish someone could come up with a MOC to put all the Winter sets together (not necessarily modular).

I don't want to propagate rumors but how could Lego pull off a double baseplate modular? I mean what type of building could it be? I can't imagine it being an actual blocky building, but instead something spread sideways. Perhaps a stadium? Nah, we have so many of those football stadia already. Gym, school, park? I think if they go for a double baseplate, it could probably be some building/s that include an extensive outdoor area, that way they still keep the piece count lower (and the price within the historic range). This is just my guess. So perhaps a building with a flea market, or a school with a play area, or a hospital with an ambulance receiving area, or a condominium with a park. Who knows?

...they could honestly put them out annually and EVERYONE will eat them up... LOL With so many characters being wanted for so long, Lego/ Disney has just been so late to the party.

They could put some collar piece + cape to hide the torso stub a bit.

I would not mind an Asgard microbuild exterior with minifig scale interior. Doesn’t have to be modular. I WANT Odin, Frigga and Heimdall minifigs.

Which Halloween figures have not been made?

I think they should release the Bee and Ladybug as edition 2! Why were they removed from this release? Is it mainly the piece count or they were worrying about the scale?
