    Exactly!!! Sometimes I wonder if all the references are potential projects being developed and many of them end up being canceled or shelved at some point.

    I think flying over a village with presents is a great concept! Something different compared to the previous years. I think Lego has a steep mountain to climb with this concept IMHO because if they are not successful in making a great build or vignette, I fear that having this balloon will take piece count away from a potentially better building. But will hold judgement until reveal date. The hot air balloons there are not bad. I would go for the smaller basket so that there is more piece count for the building. LOL

    Yes, Roman/ Greek mythology and Egypt have not had any attention for quite some time! And of course, the Rococo aristocrat needs a companion! Yes, perhaps a medieval civilian to go with the recent village release... It would also be cool if they continued the 'forest friends' series or whatever you call it (Acorn boy, mushroom girl). That boy with the antlers on the DnD CMF made me think he is friends with the former two. LOL Come to think of it, which classic space themes have they not re-done? Classic Aliens Space Police Blacktron M-Tron City/ Space Exploration

    I really wonder how big of a build the hot air balloon itself will be, and how many minifigs can fit in the basket.

    Hmm, so what themes might be in it? Pirate? Viking?

    I suppose we will only know what easter egg it was, in hindsight - when the next modular is actually revealed.

    Not been keeping tabs of any so called "easter eggs" but wonder if there are any featured in some already released sets that may be a clue to any upcoming modular...

    I wonder if they will omit any Space-themed minifig for some time, or the complete opposite: have a minifig as a tie-in? Yes!!! ...and Yes!!!

    Looks like the DnD CMF will net us a recolored rat, bird, and puppy, plus a new mini dragon.

    Just finished binge-watching all 3 seasons of the Bad Batch. Bummed that they killed Tech in season 2, and ending was somewhat poignant in season 3. Wonder if Lego might still produce sets with this sub theme?

    I would really love minifigs! I think Lego has wasted a lot of opportunity by not offering more minifig sets in general.

    I am wondering if Lego might give us more minifigs from either the Tim Burton or BTAS lines in the coming years? I'm a minifig collector and would really like more characters featured (and I know there are really just a few for Burton's).

    I could not find the goat anymore on PAB. Sold out? Perhaps it may show up eventually on the bestseller list? They really should think about offering it in another color.

    Has anyone created a database/ list of minifigs specific to each of the original SW movies? Lego has all minifigs classified as belonging to one SW film, except the ones for the original trilogy which are lumped together as "4/5/6". Thanks for any info!

    My top three most-wanted minifigs would be: Belle Beast Prince Philip (Sleeping Beauty). ----- I also have to say that since Lego decided to scrap that Maleficent dragon set (instead made it into minidoll), they should have given us an alternative set for that.

    When I googled "Christmas goat", apparently there is such a thing as a "Yule goat" in Scandinavia!

    I wonder if anyone has tried replacing those rock "stair case" with dark bluish gray and pearl dark gray?

    I do not disagree. Although I would like to point out that perhaps amongst all their animal moulds, this piece is the one that has had so much anticipation and publicity around it.

    It would be great if they go 'all out' on this one. We are just hungry for more MINIFIG sets! I was going to point out that this will be a set where all the minifigs are new (not repeats from the recent releases), and likely will not have any potential to be repeated. I know Lego has been repeating many minifigs recently.

    There is a leak of Jack Skellington (Disney Nightmare before Xmas) with long legs and arms. I wonder if Lego would re-release Sauron with longer limbs in a future set? Perhaps Lego released Sauron in regular arms and legs as a cost-cutting measure.
