  1. It took long enough! Glad that the only project I'm actually interested in that had a chance of passing has finally passed. I can't think of a reason for LEGO to turn this one down either. I won't get my hope up though, I'm not expecting a whole town.
  2. Wow! I went to LEGOLand California about a year ago, and I really think that the Minilands were the hightlight! Can't wait to see pictures (there's no way I can go to Germany! ).
  3. Great batches Penguin. That nurse looks kind of creepy, but she's supposed to, right. The only one I really don't like is Cyborg. It's not really your figure, I just think that he has a bad design in the first place. Martian Manhunter and Aquaman stand out for me, but the others are great. Would you be able to take a picture of your Justice League minifigures together?
  4. Good, now I don't have to buy the Ghost Train. It looked okay, but the ghosts were the main draw for me. I just hope that this is available in my area.
  5. Those are pretty good. The hard suits are interesting, but I'm not too fond of them myself. I prefer the classic minifigure. I like your finalized solution, it's just pity he doesn't have a helmet.
  6. I can't wait until my copy of LEGO Batman 2 arrives with that. And to think, I almost took advantage of the TRU discount to get the Bat-jetski instead.
  7. But the best part of all is....
  8. Sounds good, but I'm not getting my hopes up. Other than a "new" Polar Bear (recolored City one) I don't know what to expect, which isn't really a bad thing. I do want Penguins though.
  9. Oky, those are great. I also like how you can see just how badly the Tony Stark face is printed in the second one.
  10. Sorry, try that again.
  11. Oh, no. It wasn't on the game, otherwise I would. It's about the Penguin as a minifigure in the sets and the UCS Batmobile. Sorry for any confusion. And just incase anyone is still confused: Batmobile and Penguin
  12. Wow, that statue is great. Green Lantern looks good too, but his leg design doesn't look like something LEGO would do (they did for Wonder Woman, but she doesn't have very much on her legs), so it doesn't look like a hint at an official minifigure too me. I recall seeing pictures of pages of the Batmobile and The Penguin. If you're interested, just PM me.
  13. I'm pretty sure they are marked up. Either that or LEGO is raising the price point for spinners and booster packs. The Samurai Mech is also a little pricier. It'll probably get worse though in time, and this is the only way I'm aware of to get them at this point, so the mark-up isn't too bad for getting them early I guess.
  14. I'm not surprised I didn't give in, I really need to get back into Mafia School. Good luck everyone, may the fifth force be with you!
  15. That would be cool if this passes review, but I don't see it happening. It's not the subject matter, just licensing.
  16. Marvel and DC have been competing with each other for years though. I know why they'd choose The Avengers over The Dark Knight Rises (more Super Heroes, probably more vehicles, less dark, etc.), but you made it sound like it was because they were coming out at the same time, which they aren't. Pretty close, but they aren't exactly. I don't know how LEGO is handling the non-comic stuff with this theme, I can't think of a time where they have produced sets based on two rivaling licenses at the same time. And when you say, "With Batman we would be lucky to one and a half," you mean the films, right? LEGO wouldn't really have to choose between the two, they have the licenses. It's not like Disney denied them the right to produce sets based on Marvel characters just because they had a license with WB/DC (or vice-versa). Business-wise, it would make sense to play it safe and just choose one of the two (and again, you are right, Avengers does make more sense). But really, I can't say I'm sure still sure if LEGO is going to produce TDKR sets and I do agree with most of your points, except for the release times which I'm not sure of.
  17. The Dark Knight Rises comes out in the Summer, and The Avengers is already out or comes out within the next few days, depending on where you live.
  18. LEGO doesn't have to make sense, just look at Ninjago, or even this theme.
  19. Hush?! No image, sorry, but this made me pretty excited!
  20. Not what I was expecting, but it looks good and he won't have a messy cape.
  21. I like the Quinjet, and I want Thor and Hawkeye for their hair, so that's good. Too bad I hardly ever find polybags.
  22. That's what it looks like.
  23. Vote: The_Customizer (himself) for trying to unmask our vig in public.
  24. Maybe. As much as I want "Tropical" Joker, I think this makes more sense, especially if there aren't really going to be any TDKR sets. I don't think I'd like the cape being stuffed into a small area though.
  25. My speakers are broken, so I had to watch it without sound. I can't really tell because of that, but to me it's looking like Catwoman is allied with Batman, at least at some parts. Is that right?
