Review: TC-14 May the 4th promo fig
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Solscud007's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I think that TC-14 has a poorer chroming procedure though. No chrome stormtroopers were unchromed between their legs, as far as I remember. -
Review: 3300003 LEGO Store Promotional Set
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to JimBee's topic in Special LEGO Themes
There's a great model on Cuusoo. Hopefully it'll make it, or Lego will deliver a great set shortly. -
Question about Lego Pens
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to gedren_y's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Thanks. Well, the good side is that if it was regular ABS, pens would probably be wayyy more expensive. -
Question about Lego Pens
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to gedren_y's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Is it ABS too? The material does feel of a different quality, but I'm not sure if it's the plastic. -
LEGO Store Shopping Bags
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to fred67's topic in General LEGO Discussion
In general, I reuse good plastic bags. I use them when I have to travel, since I like to put my clothes in bags inside my suitcase. Also, I use some to organize stuff around my house, such as old papers that I don't want to gather dust. -
LEGO Muppets
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to jedikermit's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
You're welcome. Haters gonna hate. It's like Lego did with Squidward... The new design was better. Sometimes custom is the way to go. Good luck. -
How Many Minifigs do you own?
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Millacol88's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Even if you hadn't been on your dark ages, unless you are rich, you would still have missed on a lot of them... That's my case. -
[WIP] Custom Marvel Heroes
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to raminator's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
All male comic fans seem to share that. Seriously, I would say it's in the original designs. -
MOC: Santa Fe Super Chief + 4 Cars
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to TheKingOfBuilding's topic in LEGO Train Tech
I love the sleeping car... I had tried a few times to accomplish something similar and make some sort of hallway inside the carriage. If I had done it like you, I would have felt completely satisfied. Kudos for the good design, and thanks for sharing. -
Question about Lego Pens
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to gedren_y's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Also, in case that you mind, the minifigs that come in the pens not only have adaptations for the hole of the pen, but they also seem to be made of a different material... In my experience, there's something different about them (I can't point out exactly what), but they feel to be of about lesser quality than regular minifigs. -
LEGO Muppets
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to jedikermit's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
I actualy like how your minifig designs have custom parts. I didn't plan to support this project when I initially saw it on Cuusoo, but you've just won my vote. -
Review: 3300003 LEGO Store Promotional Set
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to JimBee's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Beautiful model. My only complaint... I love things to be minifig-scale. Hopefully Lego will someday deliver us a regular set feautiring a minifig scale Lego store, with minifigs with the store uniform. I will pass on this one (won't pay those ridiculous prices), and hope for the future! Thanks for the review! It's the closest I'll get to this set, I think! -
How Many Minifigs do you own?
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Millacol88's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Wow, congrats! I'm halfway there. -
I've also been into Lego almost since I have memories! I do find it interesting that you're mostly into City... I used to find it a boring theme as a kid, until I began to enjoy it in my teenage years. Welcome to Eurobricks! What kind of vehicles are you designing?

Mine is a play on "Johnny B. Goode", which was played in one of my favorite movies: BTTF.

LEGO Cuusoo Modular Building Mall Idea
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to TomRoid's topic in LEGO Town
You're welcome. Well, I'm not sure how they would handle that, but they'll probably arrange that with the creator. Anyways, it's good to let Lego know that it's an idea with potential. -
MOC: My Minifigure Display Stand

Sorting them by color creates an interesting effect! Nice display. What are you going to do with new series? -
LEGO in Film & TV: Index of Appearances

Also, in "Indian in the Cupboard", the kid uses a box from set Sonar Security (6852) to take the Indian to his backyard. -
Great. If we are to judge it by the quality of previous TT-Lego games, it'll be awesome, although I'll probably won't be able to buy it anyways...

LEGO Cuusoo Modular Building Mall Idea
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to TomRoid's topic in LEGO Town
Hey, there's a similar idea on Cuusoo! I've supported it already.
