  1. This is just great, sort of get vibes that if Lego did do military themed playsets this could totally be one. To bad TLG isn't part of the cool kids
  2. Location: An office building somewhere in Gorkonnam Anvil security: Come in Victor, did not copy that last part, please come in?! Deniable Operator: Alright BDU drag that body out of here, Redcap hurry up with that upload, looks like we are about to have company boys! COAB get ready to flash and clear. Anvil security: Damn it, Vic ain't responding let's check it out... ___ Anvil security - We keep watch, so you don't have to. "Look at this clown... sir... SIR! Could you please exit the frame sir?" Mercs with no known affiliations to any company or country. From left to right: Redcap, Brigham, COAB and BDU. ___ Notes: Since this mission was unnamed / untitled I decided to call it D1v1ne V1rus after the song Divine Virus by Essenger. The build was intended to showcase the inside of an office building lobby, however after finishing I realized it looked potentially more like an outside area with a building, so I added the janitor and coffee machine later in hopes to make it more noticable that it's supposed to be an interior lobby (with a second floor balcony haha). Any tips on how to further have showcased it as an interior for future builds would be mucho appreciado...
  3. I just want to say, as horrible as it is, I do like the whole event around failing a mission. I absolutely love this new Hot Zones format! edited for spelling mistake
  4. Damn, nice work with this mission Feuer.
  5. @TheBeeze There are two signups from thursday and 2 from saturday, I was wondering if we could get permission to execute these missions? I'm excited to start building

  7. Holy swoly, that is looking like a HUGE, MASSIVE, build!!! Yeah even in this photo the aircraft looks fantastic.
  8. Previous episodes: Los Hermanos Muerte Location: The Special Armed Garrison* outside of Khozium, Koszmar Time: 12.45pm Good afternoon ladies and gents, as some of you are already aware I'm Deputy Chief Yefreitor of the KMPD* and if you are present here you've been hand picked by the KRASOC* for operation Draupnir. Let me introduce the man who will be leading this operation, a former special forces squad leader and former undercover agent in the Los Hermanos Muerte cartel, Captain Silantyev the room is yours. Thank you Deputy Chief and greetings towarzysz. As you are all well aware we are having a major crime problem in Koszmar as of recent, therefor the Ministry of Justice and Security has passed Revisionary Law 11*. Alongside Revisionary Law 11 the Ministry has also released a statement of intent, to crack down hard on all criminal elements present within the borders of Koszmar, for this purpose the Police Special Operations unit PSO has been founded. That's us. As far as the public is considered the PSO will simply be a new arm of the Ministry of Justice and Security, tasked with the eradication of all criminal activities, however we will now brief you on our real objective ... To be continued! ______________ Glossary: The Special Armed Garrison = The KMPD's headquarters *KMPD = Khozium Militarized Police Department (Khozium is the capital city of Koszmar) *KRASOC = Koszmar Republic Army, Special Operations Center *Revisionary Law 11 = A law recently passed in Koszmar which has essentially allowed for the militarization of Koszmar's Police Forces, allowing the use of military-grade equipment and tactics by law enforcement officers. Notes: Although I have this storyline and series of MOC's envisioned in my mind pretty clearly, I was suffering a bit of writers block putting the events in my mind into words, so if anything is unclear please let me know and I'll fix it up.
  9. Lots to unpack here, nice work, maybe there are windows cause it's a really tall skyscraper and the windows are those special kind that let you look outside from within but not within from outside
  10. Nice work, the pictures show the story well and the layout is cool I would've liked to have seen a little bit more detail though, a few more plates on the terrain, or some more plants/vegetation.
  11. Lovely work, cool details, especially the big roadblocks one thing I can think of suggesting is maybe a few civilians on the road would've been neat.
  12. This looks good, it is a shame you can't build it in bricks, it would've looked even cooler!
  13. PDRSE really does love RED don't they, that's quite the BIG RED building Nice, I really like the parade car.
  14. I do have to agree with SATSOK, but also I do like the amount of architectural variety / detailing in the main building.
  15. I like the clean, smoothness of the main building, the use of retro pieces is great. The mix of old and new light grey works as a nice 'worn-ness' to it as well. Great BURP NPU. For some tips/improvement suggestions, I would've added a little bit more greebling to the top communications array bit.. and to the terrain maybe either some rockwork, some more vegetation or even just a few plates of a different colour like perhaps dark orange or medium nougat would've looked nice, some earthy tone.
  16. We now welcome you back to your daily dose of global Brick Built News! With your regular hosts Brick Johnson and John Studley. Good evening folks, yes we're back and this time with news from the country of Koszmar. That's right Brick, things have been quite quiet surrounding the country of Koszmar for some time now, however recently reports of a new designer drug ominously known as 'Red Death' has been taking the nation in its hold. Yes John, the drug is allegedly being mass produced in Koszmar by none other than the Hermanos Muerte. The Hermanos Muerte Brick, who are they? According to our sources John, they are a subfaction among the alleged criminal organisation known as Hermanos Prósperos. Koszmar officials have released a statement in which they claim to start undertaking serious action against 'Red Death' and any persons who are producing and distributing it both in and out of country. And now more on... To be continued! ________________________________________ Notes: This build contains my sigfig and all will be explained in the next part of a new series of Freebuilds I am working on! I hope you'll enjoy them, as I lean in more towards the Criminal / Cartel aspects of this new phase of GBW.
  17. A military parade is cool and yeah this would be pretty hard to pull of irl, well for me I can't speak for other folks their collections ofc. I really like the way you made use of the sideline crowd as highlighted with the two shots beneath the main picture.
  18. Noice work Satsok, the diverse flora looks good! I would have led with the second picture and saved the first picture for last personally, that way people who view the thread may or may not spot the sniper at first until they scroll down. Dunno thought that'd be cool.
  19. "No friend Cassandra, this unit is merely going to chase after whom might potentially be Xander's killers!" Bers exclaims as he's raring to go.
  20. Haha I think I've been misunderstood, the way I ment it is in terms of what to style your military after, I assumed Brickvik either had or was going to join PSIC or KLR (before editing my post) in which case for PSIC main inspiration for military comes from more Western NATO-esque countries and for KLR more Eastern Socialist countries.
  21. Mainly it is PSIC vs KLR. Think Western NATO-esque countries for PSIC and Eastern Socialist countries for KLR as inspiration. See also here: https://greatbrickwar.square.site/organizations If you want to make a PMC that can really be whatever you want. With the Cartel (Hermanos Prósperos) as the tertiary enemy faction for both PSIC and KLR to fight. edit* I'm not sure if it's possible to join a country that was established by an existing player, personally I would be fine with that happening however if you do join the country established by another (still active!) player in that case I would say discuss standards with that player. Double edit* I didn't read properly, you joined an unaligned country. In that case I think you can style your military anyway you want like with PMC's.
  22. Congratulations! WBD and everybody else. Also @Classic_Spaceman we are missing you! I hope you are doing alright.
  23. "Friends! I just saw two suspicious individuals sneak off behind those bleachers over there, shall I pursue?" Bers exclaims as he is already making his way towards the bleachers. Chasing after the pair.
  24. I agree, the naked chap sleeping in the hay being rudely awakened by the bard is a nice little additional story telling.
