[GBW] - F2 - Republic of Dreisenburg - Mortar-Ambush
Dutch Thriceman replied to Eki1210's topic in The Great Brick War
Nice work on the detailing, interesting sandbag? technique with the sand green bricks and the netting for barbedwire. -
That is great to hear, getting me all excited over here

On a side note, Beeze are you planning on posting any new build soon, I'm looking forward to seeing something new from you since it has been quite a while...

[GBW] - Battle of F3 - BANDAUD - Defence-point
Dutch Thriceman replied to SATSOK's topic in The Great Brick War
Oof, that's trouble for the KLR, looks like Koszmar should prepar a tactical strike time.. Great build Satsok, the Missile Truck has a solid amount of detailing. -
"Oh hey friend Cassandra, friend Yelana is telling the truth!" Bers shouts off, in an obliviously casual and cheerfull manner... "We just came to visit Mr. Fix-It when some scrappy serial killer deadcode bots crawled out from under the trash, so we've technically been a big help to the town, the little boltsacks could've harmed one of your people!" Bers states in a relaxed, matter of fact, kind of way. Looking at the major with a big smile on his face-plate.

Urban Chaos (Battle for Brokal P2): After Koszmari Infantry got ambushed in the more impoverished red light district of Brokal brave Koszmari forces, aided by the 'Wild Hunt' special operations unit, pushed the Brotherhood back into the development district of Brokal were vacant plots and new construction has been halted due to the ongoing conflict... Any rumors of heavy Koszmari losses are greatly exaggerated and to be considered fake news. The KLR high command anticipates victory any moment now... With Brotherhood forces now cornered and nearly exterminated the KLR declares the capitol city of Soalon, Brokal, occupied by Koszmar forces and therefor part of the great Krivyat League of Republics! ___ Bonus pics: Module - Construction Site Module - Empty Lot Module - Gas Station Module - Ruined Building Brotherhood of Soalon 4x4 transport (modeled after the irl Lada Niva) Anti-Tank Roadblocks ___ Wew, I wanted to go out with a bang both for taking the capitol and for the end of this game round, hope ya'll like it. - Dutch

[GBW] - Presentation - Republic of Dreisenburg - Infantry
Dutch Thriceman replied to Eki1210's topic in The Great Brick War
Interesting combination of weaponry, I made a very similar infantry for when my Koszmari's would end up facing PSIC forces, by the looks of it now Koszmar and Dreisenburg might clash in the future -
"Oh yes, I'd gladly take that friend Yelana, thanks friend Polaris." As Bers pockets the Energy Cell he briefly contemplates the banter between his comrades. 'Mhm it almost seems like these two don't get along very well... nah, I'm sure it's just my imagination.' Bers thinks to himself. "Lie... ahum... of course, not... friend Avgustus, wait my sensors detect someone approaching..."
-
"Thank you friend Avgustus, that should tide this unit over a little while longer." Bers takes a swig of the flask and then hands it back to Avgustus. "Friend Polaris, while the plasma potion might fix any damage, this unit is fueled by alcohol. As a fleshling might be fueled by water and macroµnutrients"

Heroica: Glory Amongst The Stars - Rules & FAQ
Dutch Thriceman replied to Waterbrick Down's topic in Heroica! The RPG!
As a newbie to both Heroica and (digital forum based) pen and paper rpg's I am honestly not so sure, obviously as mentioned there is the benefit to not being as likely to get hit when playing ranged and melee fighters having a tendency to tank damage moreso. (Although this does also depend on enemy type/design/behaviour by the mission master.) Unless you're playing a stealth character and you 'Try Something' backstabbing with stealth perhaps... on a side note I'll admit I still don't fully comprehend Oppertunistic Attack, I tried to use it in my first mission and understood it wrong, but as I am reading it now it should be a call made by the mission master not the player. As the mission master will know when it plays out, the player doesn't have that knowledge. Even then I think most times the melee player will already be attacking anyway, does that mean the player gets two attacks in the specific scenario where they are adjacent to an enemy which just so happens to be attacking an ally at range. edit* because normally if I am next to an enemy, attacking as a melee fighter, I am the one who gets attacked back. -

Well that got dark quickly, but that tickling feather is by far the scariest part of that interogation chamber -
