Ok now the plot has come out, Misako's expedition goes missing, ninja go after them, they find the keepers who uses lightning to power stuff, the keepers give sacrifices to a creature from the infinite sea (possibly connected to season 15? its a 45 mins special like DOTD and releases 27th February. I now want these sets even more! -

So someone found the season 14 trailer, and im not going to go over it all, as this forums mainly for the sets, but I would like to point out some very interesting things, mainly the vehicles. Most of the vehicles used seem to be multiplied, like in 1 shot here's 3 of Lloyds jungle bike, and in another there's 2 of Kai's catamaran. these arn't some magic hallucination made by the keepers though, as the catamarans are launched from the bounty (boat-ception?). I have to credit the producers of the show for also including a sets side build into an episode, as that almost never happens nowadays, with Zane's windsurfer from the jungle dragon set accompanying the 2 catamarans. The keeper minifigs also seem to be neon purple, and they make Jay a sort of god, so they incorporate lightning into their life styles. Story wise, it appears that someone with the name "Montgomery Garmadon" has gone missing, and Wu, Misako, Clutch and Clutch's sidekick goes after them, then the ninja go after the latter team. I am confused with the use of Lloyds mid and last name being used, but Lloyd looks like they go after Wu and Misako. I really have 2 theories, either Clutch goes missing and Wu and Misako go after them, then the ninja follow, or wu and Misako thinks Lloyd has gone after clutch, they go after Lloyd and the team and then the ninja crew haven't even left, so they have to go get both teams out. Its also interesting how we have a trailer for the season episodes 2 months before we get the sets. trailer in the highest quality I could find: Edit, a new version has been found, and it shows the start, where one of the explorer clubs members tells Lloyd that Misako Montgomery Garmadon has gone missing. I guess this means misako wand wu get sent to go with clutch or something, and the ninja go and follow after them. -

Belgium has closed its borders, and My gardens set has been stuck in customs control for 3 days now. DPD have said multiple times I would receive it today, so yeah. I’m gonna take it that DPD is also non essential. Will I have to pay import taxes for this? I have a bad feeling I will have to.... -

The DPD tracking is now telling me that it’s in Belgium, but yesterday it said it would be delivered in 2 business days, and unless they have a free pass over the border or a secret group of Lego smugglers, I’ve not got much faith in this. Brickset are gonna publish their review of it over the week end, so that will be good to see the set and what the brickset guys think about it. -

Just got an email about my gardens set, it’s apparently been shipped, and will be at my house by Saturday! I haven’t had any emails prior to this except the one telling me I actually ordered it, so this is a pleasant surprise! To anyone who has the set already, I must ask, what’s your favourite feature/ reference? I’m interested to see if there’s one main one or if everyone has different preferences. Personally mine is the micro destiny’s bounty. It looks amazing at that scale! -

I have to agree. Amazing design! The creator is called ‘twogles’ and they are an incredible builder. -

You got lucky! Good to hear people are now receiving their copy’s, but still nothing on the UK front. I also completely agree with giving credit to the MOC designers, they do some incredible work. I’d love to see an event like TBB ninjago city event where everyone brings a custom section and connects it. I was thinking about a possibility of a legacy blacksmith shop for Kai but with the release of the ideas set imminent now, I’ve lost hope. I would of loved to have seen a £25/30$ set that included an exclusive blacksmith Kai, a legacy Nya in her OG robes, a couple of skull kin and master Wu. Can’t forget that map either. -

One of the people who got the new sets showed off the keepers village, it’s quite good! Spacious inside, a jail cell which can be escaped from through the dragons mouth, a detailed jungle section, and a good throne for the chief. -

That makes sense. All the boxes I’ve seen the gardens in have had no extra packaging or anything, it’s just the gardens sets in a brown box. No cushioning. Putting a GWO in there would mean you would have to add extra packaging I guess? -

Yes, but you could connect it to the docks or any other custom module to give access, you cant do that to the gardens apartment. Can we stop going on about it please? the fact is, the set has some poor accessibility but I do believe the decision was made for looks over access. And as much as I don't like having access, I think its worth it. It looks good. -

I was just reading the designer notes on the jungle bike, apparently the source or inspiration was the halo warthog, and apparently it’s god suspension? He says it’s the same design as the jungle raider from last year. Very interesting. Here’s the extract: The Halo warthog was definitely a source of inspiration in both color and design language, since it felt like it captured the rugged, all-terrain look we were striving for. The suspension was a challenge to integrate with the detachable surfboard/flier, but ended up being solved by borrowing Freddy Charters' brilliant solution in 71700. -

I agree with the fact that ninja bases shouldn’t have access, it’s for ninjas, but I think we all have the same problem here and we all are complaining about it, and it just brings a wave of negativity. We can all agree that it’s an amazing set, but we all have our problems. Nothing is perfect. Can we just end all the crap about access here? I get it, some people are gonna go on. I myself did go on about a bit, and I’m not too proud of it. As the other guys said, we are not gonna change a single thing. Let’s just talk about the positives, like the fact the bonsai tree on the island on the 32x32 section used wolverine claws in green? The unikitty tails in flame yellowish orange? Anybody else seen some NPU in the gardens? Also has anyone in the UK received any news of there delivery? I’ve had the confirmation email (thank god) but my friend ordered zanes Titan mech set on the 1st, and it’s been shipped for about a week now. I’m not expecting to see these sets for a while now. Has anyone actually got the set in hand here yet? -

Yeah, it’s probably best we all stop crapping on this set now. I still can’t wait to get it, and I’m happy we’re even getting something like this. I’ve always wanted a ninjago movie modular, but they’re really damn expensive, so to get one now 3 years on, it’s nothing short of a miracle. Unfortunately, the negatives have much more of an impact than the positives, no matter how many there are. Sets can always be improved. still and incredible set though. -

I think what your trying to get across is that ninjas can flip and jump and could literally fly at one point. The reason we’re all complaining is inconsistency. This is a set made to celebrate the 10th anniversary of one of Lego’s greatest themes. It should at least have some sort of access for kids or people who can’t do parkour. If this was the docks, and it had just came out after the city, I don’t think us fans would have much of a problem. But this is a set made for fans! One of the highlights in almost every detailed review I’ve seen of NC has praised the access. I think the main problem here is that in NC they had the back (what people generally call the not so camera friendly angle) flat and open, and it’s mainly displayed from the front. This means you can chuck a bunch of walkways and ladders all over the back, and no one would bat an eyelid. I personally love the back of the city way more than the front, with the gantries and ladders everywhere. Ninjago city gardens was more made for display from both angles, with a lot more details being spread out between the front and the back. Also, the layout of the city also means that you can’t have many gantries. You can’t really connect anything to the walls that are facing the tree on the old city, as you would block the server. My best guess if you want to access the ninjago fans apartment is to put a girder or ladder above the soup server point, and have a door above it. The tower is excusable, as it’s for the Ninja. For the zen house on the left roof, I don’t really know what to do. Probably something from the back. After reading all that through, I can definitely say that I’ve thought to long about this subject. Oh well excited to get the set in hand! Has anyone had confirmation or their set delivered in the UK yet? -

I know that gives access to the tower, but I don't think there's a way to get round the glass roof of the museum. -

Correct me if I’m wrong, but am I right in thinking that there is no way to get to the zen house on the left rooftop apart from climbing up those handle bars that are above the Mr Chen noodle mascot? If so, how are you even meant to reach them? Also there’s no way at all to access the ninjago fans apartment either. Very intriguing. -

The robot in NCG is called Scoop, and the one in NC is called Sweep. Interestingly there wasn’t one in the docks. -

To go along with the season 14 sets found early, this young lad found the jungle dragon set and did a review of it? It is the set, and although you don’t really get a good look at everything, you can see the dragons size, and it’s decent. It also appears to have some serious spinal problems. -

So somebody actually found the season 14 sets in a store somewhere. They got the keepers village and the back of the box shows the totem thing can actually split up, indicating it’s actually 3 separate beings. There’s a cage in the back as well, along with a cooking pot. Looks good, and is incredibly early to see these sets! They also showed pics of the bike and the catamarans but they didn’t show the backs. -

I haven't gotten an email, I will check with CS. My WIFI has been dropping in and out today which could be part of the problem. My lego account has been a bit messed up lately, I've been trying to get a parts order in for a couple of days now, and every time I select my parts from PaB and go to checkout, it just says 'sorry an unexpected error occurred'. Will say what happens, but my friend had the same problem and he got an email today after buying it on the 14th. it could just be slow. -

I haven't even had an email about it yet. I just brought it on shop@home and have heard nothing, not even confirmation. Starting to get a bit antsy but I'm holding of on contacting customer services just yet, they're pretty busy. Then again, the shipping in the UK is absolutely abhorrent. -

A small youtuber called K-bricks just uploaded a review of the gardens, and he shows off a small compartment in the top of the tower that's above where you store jays suit and the posters, and it is a control room. You get a small seat and a control screen, but again, no obvious way to get up there. I feel like this one could get away with it though, as it is for the ninja, and they can get anywhere. Access is definitely the biggest problem here.
