Well We knew she was in the legendary dragon set, and I was hoping that that was a legacy remake of the Lloyds NRG dragon from the DotD\skybound wave and she was just a legacy fig, however we have never had a duel race car with the 2 before so that means it’s not a legacy set, and as it’s EVO that means it could be the new chapter. I’m not saying season yet as the stuff doesn’t really fit in. Best guess now is that this is gonna be like SOG, only instead of bikes it’s now race cars as that’s 2 cars now in the EVO line up, and I’m calling it now, as the car is a tandem vehicle it will most certainly split in half forming 2 bikes. I’ll be disappointed if that doesn’t happen.

Huh so a new set name just leaked, jay and nyas race car EVO, set 71776, meaning Nya will be part if the new season/event, As we know there isn't a duel race car if EVO was a legacy replacement. I guess this makes her sacrifice last season kinda worthless. Disappointing. But interesting that we still haven't got pictures, and this set is slated for a January release so there may be more sets we haven't seen. Where are they?

I agree. This is honestly disgusting. The fact that TLG seem to have been “oh yeah let’s celebrate ninjago” for only the 1st third of the year and have just let it drop of now…. It’s still the tenth anniversary is it not? Best guess honestly is that we will get the pics off a retail site. The ones already revealed where either already licensed or Lego exclusive, such as Singapore, MK or Star Wars

Honestly the most interesting part of the set is the Mei fig. After taking quite the back seat in season 2 it seems like she may actually be the focus of this season/chapter. She appears to be wielding all 3 rings, and using crystals ninjago style. It also looks like this isn't really a mech, more of a giant form of macaque or a robot version, as there doesn't look like there's anywhere to put him. Over all this wave is a mixed bag for me. Obvious highlights are the city of lanterns, the evil mech and the galactic explorer, but I'm not really a fan of the moon cake factory and the fire ring. The dragon car is fine, but im not a fan of the head at the front. Everything else though is amazing. The value across the wave is also pretty good from a UK standpoint, the city of lanterns especially. Honestly I saw a set like the city coming. The success of the Ninjago City lines, paired with the amazing feedback of the buildings from wave one basically made this set a lock at some point, and putting a bunch of them in a massive set either to hike the price or make it easier to get them all is an interesting move. I'm not complaining, just an observation. personally I think the figs are the highlight of this entire wave. There's arm printing galore! Rumble and Savage, the 2 shadow monkey minions look great, MK from the dragon car and evil mech looks sick, its nice to have a clip on the back for the staff and I love the apocalypse like look he's going for, sandy as a minifig looks fine, I love his weapon. Macaque looks awesome with his 6 ears, space crew look fine (good to see the tang man back!), Chang'e looks good as a moon goddess I think, Nezha looks pretty good as a minifig and I get that rings are his thing and all but I really dont like his little stand with the 2 rings on it, I may change that as he just looks like hes riding around on a Segway (no doubt that will be a joke in the cartoon), and really im not a fan of his mono wheel vehicle, and I think it will look a lot better without the ring, with it just being like a large hover craft type thing. The MK figure in this set is quite possibly my favourite, I love the armour and the visor! It looks amazing, and it's interesting to see that LBD is back. Mei is probably my least favourite fig out of this entire wave, apart from the evil Macaque mech version, just because im still getting used to the neon colour and there isn't any armour or helmet on her normal figure. I'm fine with it, but I just prefer the other figs. MK in the city of lanterns set though is something else........

Yep, and an incredible one at that! Damn I hope the instructions come out for that soon. whats the deal with employee gifts? Its obvious that not all employees get them, just because of the sheer number of people working for lego. is it like a raffle for each sub section or workforce group, like packaging handlers, customer services and security? bviously there's many more but thats just off the top of my head. Either way its a great set.

so, a picture just showed up on lego leaks. its a blurry picture of a snow covered temple, seems legit due to the way its packaged. Santa Garmadon is on the front and the temple actually looks pretty cool. may try and build it if the instructions come out.

still no set pics, but cant expect them to just pop up. im just getting impatient now. honestly im predicting the 26th to be the release date. they have to put them up on lego.com sometime soon.

I agree. Hopefully with Lego trial running the marvel calendars we can see some more. One thing I have noticed however is that Ninjago is getting less and less promotion, as some people have put it, Lego simply just doesn’t care. Adverts and promotional banners often don’t contain Ninjago, and I just find it frustrating how little Ninjago content we get, as a CMF and a calendar are really things that are needed to flush out waves. It’s also weird how Ninjago often doesn’t get official reveals, instead we just get some really blurry pictures of half the wave on some random polish website or something. Lego needs to step up their game.

So no news today, but saw a YouTube post from a YouTuber overlordX that said apparently set pics are coming this weekend. I can’t confirm where this is from or if it’s legit but it’s looking highly likely. It’s getting to be a lonnnngg week

I agree, however with the way the BLDP has been going lately, I’d be less than impressed. Some of the mocs are simply incredible, however I can barely afford biting the bullet on a regular NC expansion and have money left for other sets, and when you see the brick link program could add upwards of £100 to any model depending on the size, I just don’t think it would be in the price range, even if it was a Christmas or birthday gift that you pay for part of. But that’s just my opinion. Some of the sets are incredible but I’d love to have a mainline set. Another issue is the fact that a Ninjago city expansion would have to get 10000 votes and then be thrown away for it to be picked up by the BLDP and Lego ideas just doesn’t have many submissions for an expansion. There are some great ones, don’t get me wrong but they haven’t even come close to cracking the milestone.

Well, no news today, and we can't exactly think lego sticks to a schedule with this type of stuff. I guess im just being impatient at this point, but im really darn ready to see some new stuff! Hopefully tomorrow brings more joy!

So with the 2022 sets now being revealed in their entirety, I can’t help to wonder when the ninjago wave will be revealed. Everyday at 2pm London time I’m waiting, and hopefully today will be the day. TLG has only done small set waves so far, but hopefully the main reveals are city, friends and Ninjago. 3 themes, three days left of the working week, unless your in on Saturday like me. I hope we get some news today. Anyone know if theres a specific order to how sets are revealed by Lego, not just leaked? Maybe a way that we can predict what will be first. I have just remembered Harry Potter exists, and creator, so my theory may have a few holes in it already.

I hope so. As much as I love the large legacy sets, (the monastery, gardens and the bounty come to mind) I think it would be better to have the larger sets put towards the season. Only when they seem needed or important (such as those mentioned) I consider buying them. Honestly, im most excited by the zane mini mech and the massive temple set, they seem the most interesting.

Thats our best guess. Im praying it doesn't go down the city route, that theme has kinda taken a downfall in my opinion. Especially with the police force being defunded (literally). They still do some decent sets, but ninjago is my main priority and I would hate to see it fall from grace due to The LEGO Group trying to get more money.

So with the reveal of the new superhero mechs, i've spied a brand new ball joint in the iron man buildable one (not the mech, the buildable figure). I don't want to get my hopes up, as I have a feeling its just a redesigned ball and socket joint, but im really hoping this is a new 'stiffer' joint part that would make building mechs a lot easier. Lets hope we get the ninjago set pics soon as well!

Back of the snake leaked, looks more like rock plating, like shale rather than reptile scales. Weird, but I guess they're driving home the idea that they're rock snakes. I hope we get some cool new armour pieces with them.

Annnnnnd there's me forgetting we had suit leaks like 3 months ago never thought this brick emoji would get used. Well I still hope that we get some proper fig leaks and some set pictures. And maybe my theory will hold up.

I agree. What do we all think the suits are gonna be like? I'm personally putting a bet on nothing specific, no specialised suits like MotM or Seabound, but something like a cross between season 11 and maybe an "honour suit", like legacy 1 (Zane was wearing some sort of elemental robe on the book cover, but I don't know if that would be the main suit. Best guess is it comes in the spinjitzu training set that has zane in like an elemental powered up form, performing an attack and is in fact not his normal robe). I personally believe that this season is gonna be a set up season, with a host of short episodes that sets up the vengestone finale arc for the summer, and so the Ninja suits wouldn't need to be anything special. I think the ninja find the snake villain from the book leading the snakes that leaked today, and at the final mini movie its all revealed that the snake leader from the book is all but a puppet, or someone like Char, and we get a small glimpse at whats to come like we saw Morro at the end of ToE. but thats just my theory. Either way with what Tommy tweeted and the fact that the set names seem to be really mediocre, I just think its logical that all of this is simply the start to something much greater. Tommy said that season 16 is gonna be a conclusion, and with lego confirming Seabound is in fact season 14, I think the episodes could slot right in to the season 15 mark, and then season 16 is the finale to the vengestone arc. The only problem I see is that when Tommy was asked to describe season 16 and he said conclusion, I feel as if he was referring to the winter 2022 instalment, not the summer one. But back to the main question, what does everyone think the new suits are gonna be like? I'd like to hear some ideas before it gets confirmed in the coming days.

Ok, found the picture. Apparently the book snake will come in only 1 set, interestingly enough. The new one that has leaked has more of a breastplate design, but also is a black head with orange colouring, unlike the book snake that had an orange head with grey colouring. Very interested to see the sets!

My thoughts exactly. Honestly the amount of times I’ve checked Lego leaks now is getting to medical-problem levels. This drought has gone on for too long!

Geo whipper has leaked from a book. It brings more questions than answers honestly. Orange colour scheme, rather ragged looking to be honest, the word “wild” comes to mind. Grey hair? Snakes with hair? It’s getting weirder by the second. No clues to the season theme either, but from what this book shows maybe a desert theme? We already kinda had that though with season 11. Zane fig also appears new, however it’s quite plain and simple sadly. Just some ice shard detailing on a white Gi. Oh well. Does anyone know if we have a 2022 thread yet?
