This is such an incredible model. It is the MOC I would choose to build from Star Was if I had to choose one. Ah...in another life maybe.

[MOC] NEW UCS Nebulon B - Medical Frigate 'Redemption'
MasterBuilder98 replied to mortesv's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Such an incredibly detailed and complicated design. The amount of greebling surpasses anything I have seen. Great job! -
I'm a bit surprised at how a curved wing look can be achieved with hinged panels. Also, those hull panels come together so nicely. Another excellent MOC.

I'm curious, how fragile is this model, considering that not all the connections are using full clutch power?

I second the ingenuity of the drawer technique. I love these small contained builds. As an AFOL with a decently large collection, I couldn't think of a use for those boxes. This is a nice creative use for them.

[MOC] Minifig-scale B-Wing (with instructions and LDD)
MasterBuilder98 replied to krispy's topic in LEGO Star Wars
This model seems like a great compromise between overly simplistic like TLG's builds and way too many parts to be reasonably buildable. I'll add this one to my list of MOCs to attempt at some point. Thanks for sharing this build.- 125 replies

It always amazes me when builders accomplish angles and curves that don't seem possible, and connect them with little to no gaps. Excellent work!

[MOC] Minifig Scale Clone Wars LAAT/i Republic Gunship
MasterBuilder98 replied to IcarusBuilds's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The LAAT is one of those physics defying ship designs that makes structural support a nightmare. The really heavy section with the engines and wings are directly over the gaping troop bay, leaving that section cantilevered between the front section and the rear ramp frame. Most of the solutions I've seen involved putting stress on parts to support the weight. Is there stress on any of the supporting parts in this build?- 26 replies

That's incredible how small you were able to get the ship, and still have it stay together. Things often get dicey when working in such detail at that scale. Great work!

I for one love the design for the head. I also definitely agree that the sand blue recolor really brings the MOC to life. About the only further detail I could think of would be the white triangular pattern on the wings. Not sure how that could be achieved without stickers though. An excellent MOC though, regardless. Have you considered doing a droid tri-fighter? The curved rings on that one are something that has stumped me, and based on these designs, I'd be curious to see your solution.
