  1. You still have dozens and dozens of videos that you haven't removed! Most are from last year or earlier. Please tell us, again, how since you lost the creators name for those older MOC'S you're doing everything possible to contact them. B.S.! ALL the videos for which you don't have explicit written permission need to come down! Immediately! Just because they don't yet know you're stealing from them doesn't make it okay! It's NOT okay to leave them up until they tell you to take them down! It's your choice, do you want a channel that has very few videos left on it or do you want to lose your channel entirely due to copyright violations? You want to prove to is that you're doing everything possible? Take them all down! PS, I got your message, no you cannot have my email and no I don't give you permission to post or profit from my work!
  2. I took a look at your design and I think the problem is with your front truck. There isn't sufficient pivot of the first four wheels. Your 2x2 modified plates with the technic pin serving as a pivot are too close together. Try spacing them apart one or two or three studs. That front truck needs a double pivot point to go around curves properly. While your design is technically a double pivot, the 2x2 modified plates are touching, or so close to touching, as to simply count as a single pivot point. And a poor one at that, because of their design they cannot pivot all that much, maybe 30 degrees off center, which would be okay if you had only a single axle immediately behind it. But you don't, you have three axles behind it so that front truck needs to not only pivot more than 30 degrees, it also needs to be able to move off the centerline as it does so, hence the need for an effective double pivot point. Make sense?
  3. I found a second one of my creations on his YouTube page. I filled out another complaint against him. YouTube says they will remove the content and replace it with a placeholder that gives me credit for my stolen work. I wonder how quickly that will happen? I wonder if Jimpricked will read this thread and delete the video first? I'm going to post link to both below, just so I have them and we can see what happens. Edit to add: has anyone posted this in the other forums? I see a lot of cars and trucks and city stuff on his channel also. Have any Mods addressed this? I think he deserves a perma ban. Stealing members creations and selling them for profit simply MUST be against the rules?!?!? The guy has created no useful content and we just don't need his type around here.
  4. Thanks for the heads up! I share my creations here and on brickshelf for others to enjoy, FREE OF CHARGE. Thanks for this too! I've already filled out a DMCA complaint against him for one of my creations. I'm going looking for others now. Sorry, but nonsense! I knew he was trouble from his very first post. He's only on this forum to promote himself and his YouTube channel and to make money, off other peoples creations.
  5. I sure does! Did it on my 60051 passenger train for the big cab stickers. As other have said it doesn't work on paper stickers, but I haven't seen a paper sticker used on anything in a long time. I dont have a tutorial, but the process is simple. Just wet the surface you're applying the sticker to with Windex, water, or even a glass full of water with a single drop of soap mixed in. The sticker just floats on top until you press it down. Even when lighty pressed down there's still tiny amounts of water underneath which prevent complete and proper adhesion. You can use this to your advantage to continue to slide the sticker around until it's perfect or even remove the sticker and start over if need be (apply more water). Once the sticker's perfect you can use your finger wrapped in a tissue or cloth or paper towel to then squeeze the remaining water out. Start in the middle and work outward to force the water to the edge where it's absorbed by the tissue. Once pressed and squeegee'd in place the sticker sticks as well as if you has done it dry. It's easy to practice, and you should if you haven't before. Find some extra stickers (we all have extras) or failing that use the left over border from a used sticker sheet and practice applying to the side of a 2x4 or a 2x6 brick. Once you've done it a time or two you'll see just how easy it is!
  6. That's a pretty great idea!
  7. Agree with the above, posting some pics or a video would help.
  8. Here's an updated video with all four trains running at the same time.
  9. Put some Windex or soapy water on the piece first. The sticker will float on top allowing you to position it perfectly, then slowly press it into place and squeeze the water out. Makes aligning big stickers easy!
  10. I like the look of the passenger train after all. The earlier photos didn't do it justice nor render the colors well. I'll probably buy two and sell the PF from one and sell one passenger car to help offset the cost and be left with a powered engine, a dummy engine and three passenger cars; that would be ideal for me! Lego gets their money, the secondary market gets some inventory and I get what I want, a win, win, win!
  11. Thanks! I have a thread for both engines. Here's a link to the BNSF
  12. Thanks everyone! I couldn't leave well enough alone and decided to expand my table to 4 x 8 foot. Then I decided to make it 4.5 x 8 foot. This additional size allows me to have three complete loops plus an additional siding on the backside. I'm up to a total of 20 switches now! I would add more on the back but I can't reach them with the extra width of the table, oh well. With the additional room comes room for more cars. I made two new middle cars for my 60051 and plan to make some additional rolling stock soon. Hope you like!
  13. I needed a couple of additional middle passenger cars to complete the look of my 60051. Instead of paying $40-50 each plus shipping on eBay (or even BL) I decided to just make my own. I copied the instructions and have faithfully recreated the middle passenger car. I've attached a link to my Bricksafe account where you can download the LXF for yourself. I built two for about $35 each, including a complete sticker set for each. https://bricksafe.com/pages/sed6
  14. What CrackerJack insurance company did you have?
  15. The graphite lube worked wonders! It also works great to lube the frog of yours is slow to spring back to the correct position. Just shoot a dab underneath it and work it back and forth.
  16. Search for #legoleaks if you're not already following them. I see the new BT controller is shown too. I find both sets underwhelming and doubt I'll get either. Off to BL to order parts for some of my MOC cars instead.
  17. I used to be a closet AFOL but I've come out to many of my friends and neighbors. I then use their interest as a gauge for how much I'll share with them in the future. Now, how much I spend on Lego...THAT I do keep secret.
  18. The tech is interesting but I'm curious what these signal will look like?
  19. Most home and renters insurance policies in the US limit your coverage for collectibles or toys to $2500, with Lego being considered both. As such you'll need to purchase additional coverage from your insurance provider. This I usually called a rider or scheduling property (the terms are synonymous). Lego would be scheduled as a fine art (the catch all category for insurance companies). Good news is fine arts coverage is cheap and even $50k in extra coverage won't cost you that much extra.
  20. Nice work! That slight incline right after the top of the hill, I wonder if that could be done on this new Lego coaster and the tires and their contraptions eliminated altogether?
  21. Me too! Just gotta sell my extra MF to fund it
  22. Very nice work so far! This was a favorite of my fathers.
  23. Why? I mean the current switches have lots of studs on them already...
  24. What are switches with studs?
  25. I too have several new switches that are hard to throw. I bet you could squirt a little graphite powder lube inside to make them smoother. In fact I'll try first and report back soon.
