  1. Regarding the valve gear, the two rods appear to be connected to part 6536, which slides on a technic axle under the running boards. So it doesn't look like we have anything moving on and out of the cylinders themselves. Someone mentioned this earlier, but its does look like the buffers on the coaches are brick built like the engine, which makes me curious what connection they came up with instead of magnets. Overall pretty satisfied with the set. The coaches look great both inside and out, and they've finally added in some additional details that have been omitted from previous steam locomotives.
  2. Just noticed the detachable crank on top of the boiler (around the middle). I wonder if that turns the drive wheels?
  3. @Withacee Yeah, it now seems that is almost certainly the case. Back to the wishing well I go lol...
  4. I see there is creator expert set 10298 releasing next year. It's listed as an "unknown vehicle" for $99. With the crocodile locomotive soon to be discontinued, what are the chances that this could be a new train?
  5. I love it, they absolutely nailed capturing the sleekness of the bow! If you look closely, you can see a vertical seam running along side the entire ship after the first funnel. I wonder if that's due to the ship being built in sections, or maybe a way to see some interior detail?
  6. It now seems like the set may actually contain only 9,090 pieces.
  7. I've just noticed something. While the Ford GT and Koenigsegg Jesko are using the new larger rim and lower-profile tire setup, the rest are not. They're all using the same design as the Dodge Challenger T/A, just with the new larger insert vs a printed dish. It looks like it's either a wider version of the older tire, or thinner version of the old rim, unless there's a way to make the old ones offest somehow.
