  1. Mines run regularly at 2A, and peak up to 3A, but just for a glimpse. They run fine, and deliver a lot of power, but I never get a regular run over 2.5A or similar.
  2. I noticed that, indeed, even with calibrating it, I experience the same issue.
  3. Many thanks! This is what I read before and why I decided to wait for the solution of these issues :)
  4. It also happens to me. I made a moc with the medium linear PU motor for the steering and it didn't returned to the center. At the end, I changed the motor for the old steering PF motor and all went good. I assumed that it was a flaw that could be corrected at some point soon, but I might be wrong.
  5. Many thanks! Indeed, there I found many parts I was looking for now! :)
  6. Indeed, I like the PU and I was looking forward for the Zetros. Nevertheless, given the parts included in this set, the numerous functions and the overpriced Zetros, this one goes to the top of my priorities for Lego.
  7. Quite nice review, thanks for that! I am amazed about how the Zetros and the Heavy duty truck compare. I would like to think that this set will be much better sold than the Zetros, maybe suggesting for a change in the direction of the future big sets of TLC.
  8. Absolutely true. Indeed, I found many similaritites with the Apple/iPhones escalade. Few years ago, thinking about getting a phone more expensive than 300-400 was just unbelievable. Then, Apple start rising, year by year, the prices of the iPhones. A critical point was crossing the 100EUR barrier... but the people kept buying them. At least, in that case, the increase of price came with top tech specs. TLC, I think, is doing the same: in the last years we have seen a continuous increase of the prices; sometimes it was reasobnable (more parts, or more complex parts). But I think that now, they keep increasing the price to see how much they can do maintaining the profit. The rationale behind I think that is easier to produce fewer sets getting the same or even more benefit, but this is just a guess. Anyway, for me, besides the cool looking of the set, i will pass. And, of course, I will do it because of the price. The set is fine, but asking that amount of money, I think, is just crazy.
  9. I loved to paint Confrontation/Rackham miniatures, Hordes/Warmachine, and also Infinity (a nice game, indeed). But, to really enjoy the painting, i moved to a little big bigger models, such 56 or 86 mm. More or less, happens the same to me: having a 4-years old kid around, paiting is not as easy as it was, while lego is. At least, i can do Lego during the night without having my eyes bleeding! ;)
  10. I am on minuture painting (although not very often, lately). May I ask you why do you ask? I am curious ;).
  11. @imdesigner42, I'm not sure if I understood you, but if recall well, the official (it maybe it was something that I read elsewhere) description already mention that the diff lock is in the central and rear axles. This would explain and for with your second possibility, isn't it?
  12. Despite my positive opinion about this set, the price is truly descouraging :(
  13. @keymaker, yes, i have the same. Got 2 BuWizzes and both are the same regarding the on/off button. Also, yesterday, one of the BuWizzes started to blink in red and green and it was impossible to turn it off, being also impossible to be connected to the app. I tried to connect it to charge, pressing for long time, but nothing. Neertheless, the speed of the blinking was changing over time and, at the end, it turned out. But when I tried to connect again, it appeared as OPA0000 (or something similar). After use, I tunred off and on again and appeared with the original name thatit had at the beggining. The other brick, also, now is not possible to turn it off manually: connected or disconnected from with the app, it is not responding to press of the on/off button. I will see how the issues evolve and see if they happen again...
  14. One thing that comes to my eye is that I think is, if not the first, among the first top sets that, in the official pictures, appears with a girls and not a boy. Does someone saw that (in in flagship sets or top ones) in other sets? Indeed, i felt kind of annoyed when in the Mercedes Arocs, the advertishment at the end of the manual was somehting like "Lego for men".
  15. Well... no-confirmed gearbox in the drivetrain :( but diff lock in rear and central diffs :). I think, at the end, is not that bad. What indeed intrigues me is about the climbing capacity. Apparently, the power enables this truck to go up pretty harsh steps. I though "Ok, it just a matter of gearing down a lot... with the gearbox". But if there's no gearbox, then i don't know what to think: to climb that good the truck would be extremely slow even in flat surfaces, isn't it?
  16. Well... i have to say that, at the end, despite the aspect (I still do not like this thing having "only" two axles), the set it is impressive. I mean, diff lock, gear box, 3 big motors and one L is something, isn't it?
  17. Although it was not my original opinion when the PU was released, I like the potential of the new hubs and motor. But having the 42100, the 42099 and 42114 I have enough material for whatever I'll do. Maybe then those kits without the electric components is a good idea! I normally keep my models assembled for something between few days and 3 months. Then disassemble and build something else. So I have no issues in using the pieces and stuff from other models. So, other point for this seller you mentioned @Ngoc NguyenNguyen!
  18. Completely agree. I think that, although Lego is an expensive hobby, TLG is losing the reference for some of the sets, to making the sets more expensive because some components that are -theoretically- very expensive instead of exploiting the possibilities of the stuff already developed. Probably, because cool stuff (hubs, motors...) reach a picnic more which is more willing to pay such insane a of money. Nevertheless, the set will be sold and will be profitable, but just wait for a Lego coming at 600 EU. I think it will happen in 2-3 years, max. Anyway, as the Zetros, I'll only take this from the second hand market and only if I find a attractive offer! I the meanwhile, just-do-mocs!
  19. @Zerobricks, I just realized that in the app, there is no possibility of measuring the rotation degree of a certain motor neither limiting the rotation of a motor between certain angles. As long as this feature is indeed quite helpful for gearboxes (among many other stuff), is it intended to include this feature in the app?
  20. @Timorzelorzworz, you may find the link below somehow helping. I read it some time ago and it did the job! https://www.brickbanter.com/post/flexible-parts-bricklink-studio-tutorial
  21. I understand and it makes sense. Nevertheless, the result -an increased difficulty to combine buwizz and Lego hubs- is the same and is, in my opinion, a drawback. At the end, buwizz is made to be integrated in Lego constructions.
  22. It's a real pity and a significant drawback, and I'm sorry to hear that. The impossibility to connect to the Lego technic PU hub restricts the use of the app and the BuWizz brick.
