  1. Other question that comes now to my mind is how BW 3.0 compares, in terms of performance, with the PU box (like the one in 42100 and so on)? Is clear that BW 2.0 stepped up from the performance delivered by PF batteries, but I have no idea of how it does when compared to PU...
  2. I think that we can keep this topic for the updates. Nevertheless, I think a separate topic for the motors and bricks 3.0 would be nice, maybe with the full specs and so on. Besides that, is any expected date for delivery for the BW 3.0?
  3. I trully like this. Is true that 3 buwizzes is a monstruosity, but on the other hand, thinking about achieveing such potency that you can see in the real model... i have no other approach in mind! I like also the suspension mechanism and, indeed, i wondered about a really flat model, based on your suspension mechanism than can be flipped and the wells can turn "to the other side" so it can continue moving. Just one idea more on the pile... Anyway, i think that, with your skills, you can improve the model to make it cooler than it is already! :)
  4. Many thanks for your comments! I think one interesting alternative could be to bypass the fuse that limits the output power in the standard AA battery boxes. Is true that the size of the standard boxes is a step down, but the price of the rechargeable boxes is something difficult to overcome. I mean: they're closer in price to a BuWizz that to the regular AA battery boxes...
  5. Hi everyone, I have been running all my models with standard AA-battery boxes (running with 2800 mA AA batteries). Now i am wondering if that, besides space saving AAA-boxes are able to deliver higher output or are better than AA-Boxes. And, in such case, any significant difference between rechargeable 8878 battery box and AAA-battery box? Many thanks!
  6. Many thanks for the replies! :) I will try to test the sbricks with few extra models and check theit behaviour in terms of performance, temp and voltage. I think, although I am not sure, that runing the Avtoros, both sbricks worked at about 31-32ºC, which seems to be right. @u118224, indeed, it may be a system issue. I run in Android, but similar problems may occur in both systems, i Guess. Once possible solution is to use BrickController, "bypassing" the problem of the issue, but let's see.
  7. I'm using the sBrick app. Il check temp and voltage! What values should be ok? Thanks!
  8. Hi, I bought s couple of sBrick plus some time ago, and used them in few MOCs. The last MOC was the Madoca's Avtoros Shaman. In that one I clearly see repeatedly the same two issues: -after 1-2 min of continuous use, the power output drops. If I keep using it, it keeps reducing until completely stop. -sometimes, there's a lag. I mean, in the Avtoros, there are 2 servos to control The 2 front and the 2 rear axles. Sometimes, the front axles turn (or return to original position) but the other 2 axles don't turn until I stop the vehicle. In all cases, the power supply are 2 battery boxes with full charged 2400 mA AA batteries. Any idea? Thanks in advance!
  9. I'm now assembling my Hauler. Indeed, it may be that at orange changeover catch. I found que easy to see that, as seen from the lateral, the catch meshes with the upper and lower axle, but it has to mesh as well with an axle at the same height than the catch, which controls two of the speeds of the gearbox. Sorry that the description may not be very clear, bit just keep in mind that the catch has to mesh with 3 axles, not only the most visible 2. How that it helps!
  10. Hi everyone, I just saw that in the BuWizz site there's a section for which would be the best color for the BuWizz 3.0. Nevertheless, is from almost 2 years ago. Is going to be a BuWizz 3.0? There's any new about it? Many thanks!
  11. Hello, maybe is a very naive question but: if you stack two or more motors in the same output of a BuWizz hub, will you reduce the power sent to each motor (compared to having each motors attached separateledly)? Many thanks in advance! :)
  12. Many thanks! All of this came because i had an offer (100 Euros for a complete EV3 kit) and i considered it. I also digged a little about what's spike prime, EV3 and the newcoming EV4. I think that, for now, i will exploit the possibilities from the PU HUB and the basic programing. Depending on how i go, i will jump into EV4, Spike PRIME.... Indeed, i am wondering what are the major differences between the -kind-of-old- EV3/NXT and the Spike PRIME. And, of course, still a lot of guessing about the EV4. :) H.
  13. Hello, I've being playing Lego (technic) for a while. Although I started when I was a kid, and motors where truly rare, I can see that nowadays motors and controllers are way more frequent. Indeed, I'm surprised with the potential of powered up motors and hub. Further, I'm getting curious about Mindstorms, but I would like to pose the question here before moving forward: Besides the hardware (i.e. the sensors), what you can do with Mindstorms (EV3) but not with PU? H.
  14. Hi, Just to avoid problems: the CADA set do NOT tether with the app, only the Mould King one. Furthermore, the CADA controller is on/off, means that there's no regulation of power. As far as I read the thread, no power control is possible with any of the kids, regardless of using the app or the controller.
