Heroica RPG - Quest #24 Hunt for the Draugr
Palathadric replied to Capt.JohnPaul's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Kill him, laddies!" I shout...from no particular row. I desperately dig at the stone floor with my shovel, hoping to uncover some treasure. -
Yep, perfect sense. Thanks! Maybe that's why my colours weren't looking the best even after I downloaded the .inc file.

I installed LeoCad, but didn't like the interface so I switched to MLCad and now SR 3D Builder. LeoCad does have the most export options and is the best for that, as far as I have seen. Installing should be pretty straight forward, as brickdoctor said. I don't know if it's included in the All-in-one-installer, I think it is though. If not you can find a download link at ldraw.org . If you have problems or need help, let me know. I'm not an expert and as I said I have only tested LeoCad and didn't care for it much, but Doc seems to say it's the best for you due to its multiple export options. I'll check it out some more, hopefully tomorrow, it's late now.

Okay, great, I'll get going with renders! Good to see you around again. Forgive me if I sound completely stupid, but where does POV-Ray get it's colours from, the .XML document or the .inc document? For some reason, I didn't quite understand what it said in the guide. Maybe my brain is a bit right now.

Heroica RPG - Quest #24 Hunt for the Draugr
Palathadric replied to Capt.JohnPaul's topic in The Heroica Archive
Sorry, I wasn't online for a while, so I couldn't change my attack. Ah, well, at least Daxus is at full strength again. Darn it. I meant to say back row, but since everyone was attacking from the front row I got confused. I sit back and do nothing once again, unless Benji orders me to do otherwise. -
Mafia School: A Bedtime Story - Day Three
Palathadric replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Does it make any sense that Lord of the Fries would reveal that he was the cop to me? There's only two possiblities. Either he revealed it to me before he "investigated me" as LRRH claimed he did, or he revealed it after. If he revealed it before that would be really dumb. Why would the cop give information away like that so freely and so early on and then suddenly decide that he needs to investigate me. If he revealed it after than that's even dumber, as I'm sure you'd all agree. LRRH's tale clearly doesn't hold water. Either Lord of the Fries is seriously dumb, or Kadabra's tale is a lie (clearly the more likely of the two options. Lord of the Fries could not be that dumb.) -

Some of us are in different time zones than the rest of you. Anyway, I just realized that I never placed my vote. Vote: Little Red Riding Hood (Kadabra) -

I did not see this post. Should I attempt to heal the Draugr? I still think my ether may be too important to waste it on knocking him down only a few pints of health, or should I still heal Daxus? I assume Benji will continue his front row attack on the Draugr. -

Alright Little Red, If I'm scum, and you're the town cop as you say, then the scum should know you're the town cop, right? The town cop is the most dangerous role for the scum, right? So in that case, why are you not dead? Sure Cindy was protecting you, that's great, but if I was the scum and I knew that Cindy was the doctor, since she PMed me the message as Puss can confirm, then why wouldn't I, if I really was a scum, have not killed you and just blocked Cindy? You seem to say also that no one knew Cindy was protecting you, so why didn't the scum, if I were one of them, take you down without a second thought. The fact is that you are scum, and the more I think about it, the more I am convinced of your scumminess. Your even being alive is evidence you're a scum. -

I don't know. I've seen it spelled "Cnut" and not "Canute" most times. Maybe Canute is the English spelling. Anyway, I attempt to heal Daxus, unless you fellows think he's not worth the trouble. I think I've got you covered, mate. If you down the potion, though, Eric and Alisha could take any free hits, so you could also go for that. Alisha, I don't know what the others think, but I would suggest just finishing off the Draugr as quickly as we can. Benji was lucky in this fight to deal so much damage, but he will probably not always be this lucky. You can fight Canute once you're done, but I don't know. I suppose you can go against Canute as well. -

Actually, I didn't say that I thought Elijah Wood was Snow White, I said Cindy assumed Snow White was Elijah Wood. Elijah Wood is the Good Cop, and Snow White is not the good cop, as Puss-in-Boots clearly spelled out. Elijah Wood, the good cop, was the one who investigated you on Cindy's behalf. -
Huh?!? Eric is attacking him already as is Daxus. EDIT: Ooops...made a mistake and wrote "Viking" instead of Canute for Eric.

Nice work Masked Builder.

Just so QM doesn't think my lack of an attack post means he should decide what to do for me: I sit and mediate (=do nothing) from the back row. I also believe Eric is attacking Canute from the back row although I'm not sure if anyone mentioned it. By the way, isn't Canute supposed to be spelled Cnut? -

Ummm, I never said specifically that I was certain he was, I said almost certain. I wrote "I think" in there for a reason between sentence 1 and 2. I didn't want to have to say almost, or possibly in every sentence. No, I'm not sure that LRRH is the bad cop, but I am fairly sure about it. As for the second point, the good cop acted rather suspiciously in the first round, and I am actually guessing that he was blocked by the good guys' blocker, but I'm not sure about this. I was not suggesting the bad cop...the good one was the one blocked. Sorry, I guess I didn't clarify. I think in my entire post I was talking about the good cop. Besides the part when I was suggesting that LRRH could be the bad cop. Snow White is not Elijah Wood. Elijah Wood was the name attached to the good cop, but Cindy never really knew who it was. She thought that Snow White was the good cop, so I suppose she attached that name to her, although I can't be certain about this. -
Okay, C3POwen has not been online for a while, so I think I'll just you the colour file that he gave me and get to work on rendering the models and putting them up here. Wow, I now have a special: LDraw Builder tag! It's great!

Mafia School: A Bedtime Story - Day Three
Palathadric replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Hmmm, interesting that Little Red is claiming role-cop. The fact is that that is true, I think. He is a role-cop, only not the town one. As it turns out, Little Red is almost certainly the scum role cop, because I know the town role cop. On the first night of investigation, Cindy was investigated, but the role cop was blocked in his/her investigation. Hence, I never really trusted Cindy, until somewhere in day two. Sometime then, Cindy told me that hood had claimed cop, but she didn't trust her, so I casually told Little Red in a PM that we knew that she was a role-cop, although I didn't let on that we were suspecting her of being the scum role-cop. On the second night, I advised my contact, who me and Cindy code-named "Elijah Wood" to investigate Little Red, but Cindy said we should investigate the White Rabbit, code-named "Mushu" instead, since he was at the time the highest on her suspect list. As it turns out White Rabbit is a townie through and through. However, I am still almost 100% certain that Little Red is scum. How else do you explain Lord of the Fries lurking around. Lord of the Fries was online a lot during the last few days, and he only ever posted weak statements. As soon as Sandy mentioned replacing him, you'll see, he jumped in to say he was confirmed. The fact was that he is scum, if not the scum's role cop. Believe me or not. Cindy was not supposed to die today. No, that letter she wrote to me, Charming, and White Rabbit, was not supposed to be her suicide note. It was actually, to a certain extent, meant to protect her, because we knew that she was bound to get killed soon, unfortunately, it did not. Yes, I am admitting that Cindy PMed me to tell me that she was James Bond. Cindy had a reason for that. It was actually a manner of protecting the role cop. Cindy did not protect Little Red last night. I'm not sure who she did, but I'm fairly certain that she protected "Elijah Wood." -

That's what I mean to say. I'll save my ether for later. While everyone is fighting around me, I sneak around looking for a purse to pick. -

Should I heal the Draugr? I have only 5 ether left, and it would probably be more useful if I used it to heal the rest of you. -

Ooo, let's see Cleric Wulf and his brother fight it out. I would love to watch that one! So, Draugr, I hear you've got some religion problems. Well, I'll tell you what, I'll take your religion blues away from you permanently...and at the cost of only a few gold coins. Come on! What do you say? Viking man, you can be in this too, you know?
